Please read this instruction manual carefully before use and save it for future reference.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Please read and follow the following safety precautions as to prevent fire, electric shock and other injuries:

1. Before use, check if the voltage of your wall outlet corresponds to the rating plate which is on the bottom of the appliance.
2. Do not let children play with the appliance.
3. Do not immerse the appliance, cord or plug into water or other liquids and wet areas.
4. While operating, place the appliance on the heat resistant surface near the mains socket.
5. Do not use the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunction or has been damaged in any manner. To check, repair or adjust the appliance, contact the nearest authorized service center.
6. The appliance shall be used only after cooking plates are properly assembled.
7. Do not touch the cooking plates with your hands. Make sure you use gloves or washcloth since the cooking plates are hot during operating.
8. Use of accessories which are not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
9. Power cable needs to be well located to avoid cable hanging or people trumping.
10. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or any hot surface.
11. Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
12. Extreme caution must be paid when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids. Since there can be oil splashing during cooking, the use of oven mitt or pot holder is suggested.
13. Preparing food can cause fire. Do not place the appliance close to curtains or other inflammable material, fire stoves, baking oven or other high-temperature surface.

14. To avoid damage to the appliance or danger of fire make sure you do not use plastic film, polybag or metal foil for removing foods from the cooking plate after operating is finished. Do not let the food cool on the cooking plate; remove prepared food as soon as possible.

15. Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.

16. Never use sharp utensils for removing food from the cooking plate as these can damage the non-stick coating of the cooking surface. Use heat-resistant wood or plastic utensils only.
17. Special attention must be paid while being near the appliance during heating food, water or any other liquid.
18. Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
19. The appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understood the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
20. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children younger than 8 years.
21. Do not move the appliance during operation as to avoid scalding.
22. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;

BEFORE FIRST USE

PLASTICIZER WARNING

The surface of the appliance can become very hot during operation, which is likely to cause blemishes, discolor or stains on the tabletop. It is recommended to place non-plastic pads between the appliance and the table top.

1. Unpack the appliance and place it in a flat horizontal countertop and wipe the outer surface and non-stick plate with a wet soft cloth. Plug the appliance into the mains supply and preheat. It is recommended to coat a layer of vegetable oil before preheating. This helps to protect the non-stick surface. Some odor may be felt during initial preheating; this is normal and it will disappear after one or two uses.
2. Before use check if the cooking plate is clean and free from dust and food particles. Wipe with a damp cloth if necessary.

HOW TO USE YOUR GRIDDLE

1. Connect the appliance with rated voltage and adjust the temperature according to your requirement, the power indicator turns on in red and the appliance starts to preheat. When reach the preset temperature, the red indicator turns off.
2. Usually it takes approximately 10 minutes to reach the preset temperature. Now you can put the food onto the cooking plate.
3. Make sure the drip tray is assembled in the proper position and then put the prepared food on the cooking plate. It is recommended to use oven mitts and pot holder to reduce the risk of being hurt by touching the hot surface.
4. The grilling time should be approximately 20 minutes. Exact grill time vary according to your personnel taste and the fillings.
5. Once the cooking process has finished, remove the grilled food with a plastic or wooden spatula. Never use metal utensils as this will damage the non-stick coating.
6. Unplug the power cable after the food is prepared (note: if the socket is switch type, turn it off) Note: The cooking plate shall be cooled for some time as it may be very hot.
7. Remove the drip tray for cleaning after it is cooled completely. It is not recommended to reuse

the oil inside drip tray.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Unplug the appliance from the power supply and wait until it is completely cooled before cleaning or storage.
2. Clean the cooking plate and drip tray. The cooking plate can be washed in the dishwasher, but it is not recommended to place the removable drip tray in a dishwasher as the plastic material is likely to deform and deteriorate through prolonged use of dishwasher cleaning. Immerse the drip tray into warm soapy water to clean, then rinse and dry.
3. Wipe the lid of the cooking plate with absorbent paper, towel or soft cloth. Never use abrasive cleaner to wipe non-stick cooking plate.

WARNING: Never immerse the appliance into water for cleaning as electric shock may occur.

1. Store the appliance in a safe and clean place.
