How do I assemble the Zelmer ZCP1000W juicer?

Place the motor unit on a flat surface. Attach the pulp container, then fit the filter basket. Lock the lid by aligning the arrows and pressing down until you hear a click. Finally, place the juice jug under the spout.

What is the best way to clean the juicer?

Unplug the juicer. Most removable parts (filter, pulp container, juice jug, lid) are dishwasher safe. For manual cleaning, use the supplied brush to clean the filter under running water immediately after use to prevent pulp drying.

Can I juice whole fruits without cutting them?

The feed chute has a diameter of 75 mm, allowing most whole apples, carrots, or celery stalks to be inserted. However, for large fruits like oranges or grapefruits, it's recommended to peel and cut them to fit.

What should I do if the juicer stops during operation?

This may indicate overload protection has activated. Turn off and unplug the juicer. Remove the pulp container and disassemble to clear any jams. Allow the motor to cool for a few minutes before reassembling and using.

How do I change speeds?

The ZCP1000W has a two-speed switch: low speed for soft fruits (berries, tomatoes) and high speed for hard vegetables (carrots, beets). Adjust while the motor is running for optimal extraction.

Is the juicer safe to use?

Yes, the juicer includes a safety lock arm that prevents operation if the lid is not properly locked. It also has non-slip feet for stability and an overload protection system.

Appliance features

Taste fresh juices whenever you like.

CP1000 is an appliance designed for squeezing the juice out of citrus fruits. Thanks to Zelmer citrus press you will easily prepare orange, lemon or grapefruit juice which is fresh and full of vitamins.

All parts having contact with processed products are made of food grade materials.

Safety precautions

Before starting to use the appliance you should become familiar with the whole content of this user manual.

DANGER! / WARNING! Health hazard

- Do not plug the appliance when your hands are wet.

- Do not operate the appliance when the power cord is damaged or the housing shows visible damage.

- If the non-detachable part of the cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the producer or at a proper service point or by a qualified person in order to avoid any hazards.

- The appliance can only be repaired by qualified service personnel. Improper servicing may cause a serious hazard to the user. In case of defects please contact a qualified service center.

- Turn the appliance off and unplug it before replacing accessories or approaching movable parts.

• Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or clearing.

- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.

• Take special care when operating the appliance in the presence of children.
- Do not leave the plugged-in appliance unattended.
- Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.

Do not carry the appliance while in use.
Do not disconnect the plug from the socket by pulling the power cord.
Do not disconnect the plug from the socket when the appliance is in use.
Connect the appliance to the mains socket (alternating current only) with the voltage conforming to that given on the rating plate of the appliance.
Do not expose the appliance to temperatures above 60°C.

Do not place the appliance on a wet surface.

Do not immerse the appliance power base in water and do not wash it under running water.

Always place the appliance on a stable, even and flat surface; the power cord may not hang over the edge of the surface on which the appliance is placed.

The appliance is designed for use only in households located up to 2000 m above sea level.

Information on the product and suggestions for its use

The appliance is intended for domestic use. In case of using it for commercial purposes the warranty conditions will change.

Unplug the appliance after you finish using it.

Do not use abrasive cleaning agents in the form of emulsions, creams, pastes, etc. for cleaning the appliance housing. They may remove graphical symbols, such as scales, markings, warning signs, etc.

The technical parameters are given on the rating plate of the product.

Maximum time of non-stop operation: 15 seconds.

An interval between repeated operation: 15 seconds, 35 minutes – after 10 cycles.

Noise level (LWA): <80 dB(A).

Preparing the juicer for operation (disassembly)

Before the first use, disassemble the juicer and wash all the parts having contact with the processed product.

① Place the juicer near a mains socket on a hard, clean and dry surface.

② Remove the cover (5).

③ Remove the strainer (3) and the cone (4).

④ Unlock and remove the bowl (2), by turning it counterclockwise.

Thoroughly wash the parts (except the motor unit) in warm water with dishwashing liquid. After drying them completely, start to assemble the cleaned elements.

For washing, use water at the temperature not exceeding max. 60°C.

Preparing the juicer for operation (assembly)

① Place the bowl (2) on the motor unit (1). Then rotate the bowl clockwise with respect to the motor unit.

② Put strainer (3) inside so that it is correctly seated on the bowl (2).

③ Replace the cone (4) on the strainer (3).

Starting and operating the juicer

① Prepare the fruit, cutting them in half.

② Insert the power cord plug of the juicer into the mains socket.

③ Put the fruit flesh down on the cone (4) and gently press to activate cone rotation and squeeze out juice.

To squeeze the juice out fully, the appliance rotates the cone in the opposite direction each time it is activated. Each time you press the fruit, the cone will rotate in the opposite direction.

Exercise care while pressing the fruit onto the rotating cone and pay special attention to fingers.

After finishing the juicing operation

① Take out the power cord plug from the mains socket.

② Unlock and remove the bowl (2) from the motor unit, and then pour the juice into another container.

③ To store the juice in the bowl (2) cover it with a lid (5) and put in the refrigerator.

Start to disassemble the juicer (see section "Preparing the juicer for operation").

④ Assemble clean and dry elements. Put away the cord.

Cleaning and maintenance

Clean the juicer thoroughly after each use in order to prevent the juice residue from drying up.

Clean the power base with a wet cloth sprinkled with washing-up liquid.

In case of water or juice getting inside the power base, unplug the juicer and have it checked at the service centre.

Wash appliance components such as bowl, strainer, cone in warm water with an addition of dishwashing liquid.

After washing them up, dry all the parts thoroughly.

Assemble the juicer (see the section „Preparing the juicer for operation”).

What to do when ...

The juicer does not work:

1. Check to make sure that the juicer is connected to the electric outlet.
2. Check to make sure that the juicer is properly assembled as described in this user manual.
3. Have the juicer checked at the service centre.

Ecology – environment protection

Each user can protect the natural environment. It is neither difficult nor expensive.

In order to do it: put the cardboard packing into recycling paper container; put the polyethylene (PE) bags into container for plastic.

When worn out, dispose the appliance to particular disposal centre, because of the dangerous elements of this appliance, which can be hazardous for natural environment.

Do not dispose the appliance with the municipal waste!

The manufacturer does not accept any liability for any damages resulting from unintended use or improper handling.
