Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
Safety precautions
WARNING
Safety hazard due to unintended use:
- Do not use the appliance with wet hands, in a damp environment or on wet surfaces. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Only use the appliance as described in this user manual.
- By ignoring the safety instructions the manufacturer cannot be held responsible for the damage.
- Never make any adjustments to the appliance. Adjustments may affect safety, warranty and proper operation.
- Do not bring the appliance in contact with artificial hair.
- Do not spray aerosol products when the hair dryer is operation.
- Do not use other attachments than which supplied.
- Do not cover the air inlet and the air outer openings while the appliance is operating.
- If however, the airflow is inadvertently obstructed during use, the built-in thermal safety cut-off will automatically switch off the appliance. The hair dryer will switch on again automatically after cooling down for a few minutes.
- Keep hair away from the immediate vicinity of inlet opening to prevent from being drawn in.
Electric shock hazard due to short-circuiting:
- When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
- Never use the appliance if there are visible signs of damage or defects to the appliance or power cable. Always replace a damaged or defective appliance or power cable immediately or contact customer service.
- To protect yourself against an electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or appliance in the water or any other liquid.
- Never open the appliance. The appliance may only be opened for maintenance by an authorised technician.
- For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
- Never replace the power cable yourself. Always let the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person replace the power cable.
- Never lift the appliance by the power cable. Lifting the appliance by the power cable may damage the power cable. Only lift the appliance by holding the base.
- Always unplug the power cable when the appliance is not in use or unattended, and before cleaning.
- Always check if the voltage stated on the type plate of your appliance matches your mains voltage before use.
- Never insert any objects into the air vent openings.
Fire hazard due to overheating:
• Always fully unwind the mains cable and the extension cable.
- Never leave the appliance unattended when in use. Only use the appliance under supervision. Switch off the appliance and remove the power cable from the power outlet when you leave the room.
- Never use the appliance with a programmer, timer, separate remote control system or any other device that switches the appliance on automatically.
- Never place the appliance directly underneath a power outlet. The appliance may become hot during use. Always keep the back of the appliance clear of any objects.
- Never place the appliance near a heat source.
Fire hazard due to short-circuiting:
- Never drop the appliance and avoid bumping. Excessive vibrations can lead to loosened connections and can influence proper functioning of the appliance. Stop using the appliance if the appliance has been dropped.
- Never connect any other appliance with high power consumption to the same group.
Choking hazard due to plastic packaging:
- Never let children play with the packaging material. Always keep the packaging material out of the reach of children.
CAUTION
Burning hazard due to heat:
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Never touch the hot surfaces during or shortly after use. The hot surfaces may be subject to residual heat. Let the appliance cool down completely before handling the appliance.
Tripping hazard due to loose cables:
- Never leave the power cable hanging out in a way that someone might trip over it or accidentally pull it.
- To protect against fire, electric shook, and injury to persons do not immerse cord, plugs, or other electric parts in water or other liquids.
- A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
This appliance shall not be used by children aged less than 8 years. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless older than 8 and supervised.
Do not use the hair dryer for any other purposes than those described in this instruction manual.
The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate remote-control system.

BEFORE FIRST USE
- Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
- Clean before use the appliance with a damp cloth.
- During first use there could be some smoke and a burning smell. This happens because the appliance is new. It will disappear after a few minutes. This does not mean there is a malfunction and it will not cause one.
Changing and removing the styling attachments
- To fit the attachment onto the body of the appliance, insert the attachment onto the body by lining up ● on the attachment and ▲ on the unlock button on the body.
- Turn the attachment clockwise until you hear a click and the arrows align.
• To remove the attachment, press on the unlocking button A8 ▲ and turn the attachment anticlockwise.

USE
Features
• The appliance has two heat and speed settings: High and Low.
- You can change the styling attachments A24567 to create different looks. Always allow the appliance to cool down before changing attachments.
Speed and Heat Settings
- "3" – High speed and high heat
- "2" – Low speed and low heat
- "1" – Cool air flow
- "0" - Off
How to Use
- Check that the voltage on the appliance matches your local power supply.
- Wash your hair and towel-dry it thoroughly.
- Plug the power cord into a wall socket.
- Turn on the appliance using the Power Switch A9 and select the desired heat setting.
- For a cool air flow, turn the switch to "1".
- Cool air helps set your hairstyle and make it last longer.
- After styling, turn the switch A9 to "0" and unplug the appliance.
Changing Attachments
- To attach: Align the guides on the attachment and the main unit. Press them together and gently rotate clockwise until you hear a click.
• To remove: Press the Unlocking Button A on the sides of the unit and pull the attachment off. - Curling Barrel: Use this attachment A _2 6 tocreatecurl.
Styling Attachments Blow Brush
Ideal for creating smooth side waves.

To use, place the hair firmly into the brush and style as desired.

Roller Brush
Perfect for adding volume and curls.
- Wrap sections of hair around the round brush A4.
- To release the curl, press the release button A8 above the power switch A9.
- Important: Do not comb your hair immediately after curling. Allow the curls to cool first for better hold.
Caution
- Never wrap the power cord around the appliance, as this may cause damage.
- Regularly check the power cord and the appliance for any visible damage.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before cleaning or maintenance, switch off the appliance, remove the mains plug from the wall socket and wait until the appliance has cooled down.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids.
- Do not rinse with water
- Regularly check the appliance for possible damage.
- Clean the outside of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth. Thoroughly dry the outside of the appliance with a clean, dry cloth.
- Remove the hairs from the curling attachment using a soft brush. Clean the curling attachment under running water. Thoroughly dry the curling attachment with a clean, dry cloth.
- Do not use direct heat to dry the appliance
STORAGE
- Put the appliance and the accessories in the original packaging or storage bag.
- Store the appliance with the accessories in a dry and frost-free place, out of the reach of children.
