1. Use this device only in accordance with the guidelines in the operating instructions. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer could result in fire, electric shock, or personal injury.
2. Only use clear, hygienically safe (drinking water quality) water in the tank. Do not add any fragrance oils, chemicals, disinfectants, or other additives, as these may damage the device, impair the atomization function, and cause health risks.
3. Remove the packaging and ensure that the device is not damaged. If in doubt, do not use the device and contact the service center or your dealer.
4. Keep children away from packaging materials. If _ swallowed, there is a risk of suffocation!
5. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized service center to avoid any possible risks.

1. To avoid overloading, only connect the device to a power outlet that is not connected to any other appliances at the same time.

2. Only connect the device to its own, properly grounded power outlet (without additional connected consumers) to avoid overloads and malfunctions.

3. Avoid using extension cords in general. If unavoidable, use only tested, grounded, high-performance extension cords with sufficient cross-section and do not connect multiple consumers to one extension cord.

4. It is prohibited to alter or modify the characteristics of this device. Only use replacement parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer (failure to do so will void the warranty and guarantee).

5. If the device is defective, switch it off and contact your dealer or the customer hotline.

6. Repairs to the device, power cord, or plug may only be carried out by the manufacturer or authorized service centers. Unauthorized interventions void the warranty and can be dangerous.

7. Children under 8 years of age and persons with limited physical, sensory, or mental abilities may only use the device under supervision and after instruction. Children must not play with the device.

8. Do not operate the device unattended. Always switch off the device if you leave the room.

9. Do not twist or kink the power cord.

2. Do not operate the device outdoors in rain, high humidity, or severe weather conditions.
3. In the event of thunderstorms, lightning strikes, or extreme weather conditions, switch off the device, unplug it, and, if necessary, move it to a protected location.
4. For indoor use only. Operation permitted at ambient temperatures of 5 °C to 40 °C and relative humidity of 30% to 80%. Do not operate the device outdoors in rain, splashing water, or severe weather conditions.
5. Do not operate the device in kitchens or in places where hot oils, fats, or vapors may splash, as this can lead to material damage and a fire hazard.
6. Do not use the device near water or high humidity, e.g., in damp basements or near swimming pools, bathtubs, or showers. Ensure that no water enters the device.
7. Clean the water tank regularly to prevent bacteria growth and deposits. If the device is not used for a long period of time, drain the water and clean the tank thoroughly.
8. Hygiene: This device produces a fine spray mist. Empty and clean the water tank at least once a week; use only drinking water quality water. For commercial or more frequent use (e.g., catering, events, indoor use), a written risk and hygiene assessment by the operator is required; observe local health regulations.
9. Ensure that the water level in the water tank does not exceed the maximum fill level to prevent overflowing.

Technical information

If the fan needs to be stored for a long period of time and is not used regularly, place the fan in its original packaging in a dry place. When using it for the first time after a long period of inactivity, make sure that the fan is clean and that the motor blades can move freely (with the power disconnected).

Assembling the standpipe and attaching it to the base

See image II: Unscrew the screw on the short metal tube and then feed the cable through the long metal tube. Place the long tube on the short tube. Align the screw hole on the tube with the base and secure it with the screw you removed earlier.

Assembling the weight plate and wheels

See image III: First, mount the weight plate on the base and secure it with the M5×25 screws. Pull the five black plastic sleeves over the metal pins of the wheels and insert the wheels into the openings provided under the base.

Attaching the water tank

See image IV: Disconnect the device from the power supply. Align the tank so that the connection piece meets the guide in the base and insert the tank vertically into the base until it clicks into place. Then check that the tank is tight and secure.

Electrical connection of the fan head

See Figure V: Loosen the fixing screw on the fan housing. Then insert the housing connection and the connection cable through the standpipe and connect the connection contacts. Tighten the fixing screw again.

See Figure VI: Place the rear protective grille on the motor shaft, screw on the plastic nut, mount the propeller, and secure it with the propeller nut.

Assembling the front grille, mesh frame, and fog hose

See Figures VII, VIII, and IX: Install the front protective grille and mesh frame and secure the mesh frame with the screw provided. Insert the upper flexible hose into the fog outlet opening on the front of the fan grille, ensuring that the hose is laid out without kinks.

Filling the water tank

See images X and XI: Disconnect the device from the power supply. Remove the water tank from the base and remove the cover. Fill the tank with clean tap water up to the MAX mark (do not overfill) and replace the cover. Align the tank with the connection piece on the guide in the base and insert it vertically into the base until it clicks into place. Finally, check that the tank is tight and secure before reconnecting the appliance.

Notes: Use only clean water; additives (e.g., oils, fragrances) may only be used if expressly approved by the manufacturer. Ensure that sealing surfaces are dry and free of foreign objects. If leaks occur, remove the tank, check the seal, and reinsert it.

1. Mode indicators (Normal / Night / Breeze)

The three icons indicate the currently selected operating mode: Normal (1.1), Night (1.2), and Breeze (1.3). When a mode is active, the corresponding icon lights up.

1.1 Normal

In Normal mode, the fan operates at the speed you have selected (High / Medium / Low). Use the speed button to set the desired level.

1.2 Night

Night mode reduces fan power for quiet operation. Activate it if you want particularly quiet cooling; the speed is automatically reduced.

1.3 Breeze

In breeze mode, the fan automatically switches between low, medium, and high speeds in varying patterns to simulate a natural breeze.

2. Timer displays

The timer indicators show the set operating time. Press the timer button repeatedly until the desired time is selected. The timer can be set from 0.5 to 7.5 hours in 0.5-hour increments.

3. Fan speed display

The display shows the currently selected fan speed. Use the speed button to select the desired speed (low/medium/high) — the display will adjust accordingly.

4. Humidification intensity display

This display shows the selected intensity of the humidification function. Press the humidification button to switch between the available levels; the display updates with each level selection.

5. Humidification button

Use this button to switch on the humidification function or change its intensity. Press the button repeatedly until the desired intensity is selected. Note: The runtime of the mist depends on the selected intensity (approx. 5–7 hours).

6. Speed button

Use this button to directly adjust the fan speed (low/medium/high). You can change the speed both on the device and with the remote control.

7. Oscillation button

BE COOL

Press the oscillation button to activate or deactivate the oscillating movement of the fan. When activated, the airflow automatically oscillates over a range of approx. 75^ ; the oscillation indicator lights up.

8. Timer button

Use the timer button to program the desired operating time. Press the button repeatedly until the appropriate time (0.5–7.5 hours in 0.5-hour increments) appears in the timer display.

9. On/off switch

Turns the device on or off. Press the switch to start the device; the fan speed indicator lights up and shows the current level. Disconnect the device from the mains before working on it.

10. Mode selection button

Use the mode selection button to switch between Normal, Night, and Breeze modes. Press the button repeatedly until the desired mode indicator lights up.

11. Oscillation indicator

The oscillation indicator shows whether the oscillation function is active. When the indicator lights up, the fan oscillates automatically; pressing the oscillation button again switches the function off again.

Remote control

• All of the functions described above can also be controlled using the remote control. To do this, press the corresponding function buttons.
• To use the remote control, insert 2x AAA batteries (1.5 V) into the battery compartment of the remote control.

Preparing the remote control – inserting or replacing batteries

Please follow the instructions below:

• To operate the remote control, please insert the 2x AAA batteries.
• Always observe the polarity markings (+/-) on the battery and in the battery compartment.
- Then push the battery compartment completely back into the remote control.

Correct use of the remote control

Point the remote control directly at the front of the device and make sure there are no obstacles between the remote control and the device.

NOTE: Please handle the remote control with care. Do not expose it to sunlight and keep it away from heat sources.

NOTE: Always disconnect the power plug from the socket before cleaning device.

- Unplug the power cord before cleaning the device.

• Clean the water tank once a week to prevent limescale, algae, or bacteria build-up.
• If the fan is not used for a long period of time, empty the water tank and dry it with a microfiber cloth.
• If the fan is to be stored for a longer period of time (e.g., during winter), cover it with a suitable protective cover to prevent dust from entering important parts of the device.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemicals to avoid damaging the components.

Maintenance

• Always disconnect the device from the power supply before performing maintenance work.
• Clean the water tank regularly.
• Clean the housing only with a soft, slightly damp cloth and then wipe with a dry cloth. Never immerse the fan in water.
• Do not open the device yourself. If you encounter any problems, contact your dealer or our service hotline.

Activities at the end of the season

• Switch off the device and unplug it.
  • Carefully empty and clean the water tank.
• Clean the cover grilles and replace them after they have dried.
  • Pack the device and store it in a cool, dry place.

Activities at the start of the season

• Ensure that the power cord is in good condition and that the grounding is working.
  • Follow the installation and safety instructions carefully.

Disposal

With this quality product from BE COOL, you have made a decision in favor of innovation, durability, and reliability.

We provide a 2-year warranty for this BECOOL device, valid in Austria from the date of purchase! If, contrary to expectations, your device requires servicing during this period, we hereby guarantee free repair (spare parts and labor) or (at the discretion of Schuss) replacement of the product. If neither repair nor replacement is possible for economic reasons, we reserve the right to issue a credit note for the current value.

In the case of air conditioners, please contact the customer hotline (see sticker on the device or cover page of the instruction manual) as a first step. For fans, please contact your dealer or us directly. Please note that repair work not carried out by an authorized repair shop in Austria will immediately void this warranty.

This warranty does not cover:

• We do not accept liability for consequential damage resulting from improper use.
• Repair or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear.
• Damage due to failure to follow the operating instructions.
• Devices that are used commercially, even if only partially.
• Devices that have been mechanically damaged by external influences (falls, impacts, breakage, improper use, etc.) as well as signs of wear and tear of an aesthetic nature.
• Devices that have been handled improperly
• Devices that have not been opened by our authorized service workshop.
- Damage caused by improperly closed condensation drain valves on air conditioning units or incorrectly installed water containers.
• Unmet consumer expectations.
• Damage caused by force majeure, water, lightning, or power surges.
• Devices on which the type designation and/or serial number has been changed, deleted, made illegible, or removed.
• Services outside our authorized repair shops, transport costs to an authorized repair shop or to us and back, and the associated risks.

We expressly point out that within the warranty period, a flat fee of €60 (indexed based on CPI 2010, June 2015) will be charged in the event of operating errors or if no fault is found.

The provision of warranty service (repair or replacement of the device) does not extend the absolute warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase.

The 2-year warranty is only valid upon presentation of the proof of purchase (must include the name and address of the dealer and the complete device description) and the corresponding warranty certificate, on which the device type and serial number (visible on the box and on the back or bottom of the device) must be noted! Without presentation of the warranty certificate, only the statutory warranty applies!

We expressly point out that the statutory warranty rights are not affected by this warranty and remain in full force and effect.

Schuss Home Electronic GmbH and its vicarious agents shall only be liable for damages in cases of gross negligence or intent. In any case, liability for lost profits, expected but unrealized savings, consequential damages, and damages arising from third-party claims is excluded. Damage to or for recorded data is always excluded from the liability for damages.
