IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

• Do not use the appliance in any other way than as described in this manual.
• Remove all the covering and marketing materials from the appliance before the first use.
• Observe the marked polarity of the batteries when inserting and replacing them.
• If you do not use the appliance for a long time, remove the battery from the appliance.
• Do not allow children or unauthorized people to handle the appliance, use it out of their reach.
• Persons with reduced mobility, reduced sensory perception, mental disadvantage or persons not familiar with the operation must use the appliance only under the supervision of responsible person, who is familiar with the instructions.

• If the segments or digits are displayed incorrectly, try to reset the appliance. Remove the batteries, wait a few seconds, and insert the battery again. If this does not work, contact your dealer or an authorized service centre.

• The appliance is only suitable for home use and is not intended for commercial use.

• The data measured by this scale are for information purposes only. They are not a medical advice.
• Do not use this appliance if you have a pacemaker, ECG or any other internal medical device.
• Do not use if you are pregnant.
• Body fat measurements may be inaccurate if the user is under 18 years of age.
• Do not use on a slippery floor or if you have wet feet.
• The data accuracy may vary if you weigh yourself after exercise.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and maintenance performed by the user must not be carried out by children unless they are at least 8 years old and under supervision. Children aged under 8 years of age must be kept away from the appliance and its power cord. Do not let children play with the appliance.

Damages from failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions are not covered by the warranty.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

BATTERY INSTALLATION

• Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the appliance.
• Insert 4 AAA batteries into the battery compartment and close the cover properly.

Note: After installing the batteries, the scale can be used immediately. Select the weighing unit (kg / lb / st) by pressing the "Unit" button on the bottom of the scale under the battery compartment cover. The scale will only display the current weight. Use the mobile app to measure other parameters. Weighing without using the app will not transfer the measured weight back to the profile in the app after logging in again.

DOWNLOADING THE APP

• To fully use all the functions of the scale, download the Concept Home mobile app.

- Scan the QR code below or search for the "Concept Home" app on Google Play or the App Store and download the app to your mobile phone. If you already have a Concept Home, open the app, log in and follow the pairing instructions.

PAIRING THE APP

• Enable the Bluetooth function in your mobile phone. For Android, also enable location.
• Open the Concept Home app and follow the instructions on the screen.
• Select the basic data and register.
• Fill in your personal information with your body parameters.
• Step on the scale and the scale will automatically turn on, stay on the scale and click "Add device" or click "+" in the upper right corner of the application and add the device (see Fig. 1). A list of appliances will appear, select from the list -> Personal scales section -> V05100 (see Fig. 2).
• After successfully connecting the scale to your mobile phone, you can rename the device and then click the Done button.
• Set the weight and height unit in the application and set your personal information.
• Note: Multiple members can be added to the mobile application. During weighing, the scale will automatically recognize the person standing on it and assign the measured values to them in the application or you will be prompted to assign the values to the user.

MEASUREMENT

• Before using for the first time, wipe the scale with a soft cloth.
- Place the scale on a dry, flat, hard floor. Do not place the scale on carpets or other soft surfaces, as this may distort the measurement result.
- Stand barefoot in the middle of the scale as shown in the picture, facing the direction of the display.
- Wait until your weight is displayed.
- All measured data will be displayed in the application on your phone and saved in the measurement history.

Note:

• The number on the scale display flashes while the scale is weighing and analyzing. Stand on the scale until the number on the display stops flashing.
• Details in the Measurement tab -> Body Mass Index. Click the Record tab to see the measurement history.
  • After a few seconds, the scale will automatically turn off.

TIPS FOR OPTIMAL MEASUREMENT

• To ensure the most accurate and consistent measurement, we recommend using the scale at the same time every day.
• Place the scale on a firm, dry floor. Weigh barefoot and position your feet so that your weight is evenly distributed on the scale. Wash and dry your feet.
• Do not weigh after exercising, showering, bathing or sauna, drinking alcohol, if you have fever or if you have just eaten.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

To clean the surface of the appliance, use only a damp cloth, no detergents or hard objects, as they can damage the surface of the appliance!

Never clean the appliance under running water, do not rinse it or immerse it in water!

Store the device in a dry place away from heat sources!

SERVICE CENTRE

Extensive maintenance or repair, which requires access to internal parts of the product, has to be performed by a qualified specialist or the service centre.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS

• Packaging materials and old appliances should be recycled.
  • Packaging materials may be disposed of as sorted waste.
• Dispose the plastic bags made of polyethylene (PE) of as sorted waste.

Recycling of the appliance at the end of its lifespan:

This appliance is labelled in accordance with European Directive 2012/19/EU concerning used electrical and electronic appliances (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment - WEEE). The symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product may not be treated as household waste. Instead, it should be taken to the appropriate collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling of this product. The disposal of such material has to be done according to the recycling regulations. For more detailed information about recycling of this appliance see the authorized local office or service for household waste disposal or the shop, where you purchased the appliance.

Disposal of batteries and power supplies

If the appliance contains an accumulator or a battery cell, these components contain substances which may be harmful to the environment when disintegrated. Before disposing of the appliance or replacing the accumulator or the battery cell, it is necessary to remove the original component and hand over to a suitable collection point.

CAUTION!

Accumulator or battery cell:

• Do not throw into a fire!
• Never disassemble!
• Never shorten the wires!
  If leakage occurs when the accumulator is damaged, the electrolyte is of an alkaline character. If the electrolyte gets on your skin, wash it gently with soap and water and seek medical attention.
