Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

  • All safety instructions must be closely followed when using the appliance.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.

- Keep this appliance and its power cable out of reach of children under the age of 8.

- This symbol means: CAUTION: hot surface. Accessible surfaces may reach high temperatures when the appliance is in operation.

- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate remote-control system.

- Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall outlet is earthed.

- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not expose the electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the device.

- Unplug the appliance from the main power supply when not in use.

- Warning: never immerse the appliance in water. Do not touch the water!

  • Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the appliance. If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service in order to avoid any type of danger.
  • WARNING: do not operate the appliance if its cable, plug, or body show visible damage, do not work properly, or have been dropped.
  • Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cable. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not allow the cable to touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cable hang over the edge of the working surface or worktop.
  • Turn off and unplug the appliance from the mains supply when not in use and before cleaning it. Pull from the plug, not the cable, to disconnect it from the outlet.
  • Supervise children to prevent them from playing with the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is being used by or near children.
  • Place the appliance on a dry, stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.
  • Do not cover the appliance while in use.
  • Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use. Unplug it from the power supply when you finish using it and before leaving the room.
  • Do not try to repair the appliance by yourself. Contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service.

2. BEFORE USE

- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.

3. OPERATION

  1. Place the product on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.
  2. Plug the power cord into a grounded outlet.
  3. Depending on what you are going to cook, select the most suitable accessory:
    a. When baking a pizza, place the stone in the oven during preheating. When the oven is preheated, place the pizza on the stone.
    b. When cooking fillets or steaks, place the rack inside the oven and place the meat on top of it.

WARNING: food placed on the rack must not protrude; otherwise, cooking will be impaired. Do not touch the rack nor the pizza stone when hot, you may burn yourself.

WARNING: pizza stone is a porous material, so it is quite normal for it to absorb substances and stain. After cleaning, the surface is ready to be used again, although stains remain due to the composition of the stone. This happens with all porous materials.

  1. Select the desired function by using the control panel. You can set the time and temperature manually.
  2. When the oven is preheated, open the door to put the food in and then close it. Next, press the power icon. The countdown will start.
  3. When the time is up, the appliance will beep 5 times within a period of two minutes (during these two minutes the temperature is maintained). If no operation is carried out after this time, the oven will automatically switch off. During those two minutes, you can perform any operation.

The modes (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8) correspond to the different varieties of pizza cooking offered by the pizza maker.

  • Top and bottom heating elements icons (9 and 10): they are used to activate and deactivate the heating elements and, at the same time, indicate whether they are activated.
  • Mode selector icon (11): it is used to select the mode and to reset to factory defaults.
  • Time/temperature increase icon (12): press this icon to increase the operating time or temperature.
  • Time/temperature control and Preheating (13): all modes require the oven to preheat, except for the DIY mode (manual). Therefore, by default, when you select any mode, the preheat indicator light will light up. You can only switch it off (if you wish) if you have selected the DIY mode. When the oven is preheating, the indicator light will stay on, when it has reached the right temperature, the indicator light will switch off. The appliance will beep three times to remind you to put the food in the oven. Once you have put the food in the oven, press the Power icon to start cooking.
  • Time/temperature decrease icon (14): press this icon to decrease the operating time or temperature.
  • Power icon (15): when the oven is switched on, a beep will sound, and all icons will light up for 8 seconds. After this time, the mode icons will light up one by one. The menu that will be activated by default is DEFROST. With the mode selector icon (which will also light up) you can select any other mode. Press the Power icon (which will flash red) to start the oven. When the oven is running, press this icon for 3 seconds to pause the oven and put it into standby mode.

Putting the pizza stone in the oven

When you open the door, you will see a pair of wheels on the bottom of the internal oven cavity. Place the pizza stone on the wheels when you want to insert it. This will help you to push it in more gently.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Unplug the power cord from the power socket and make sure that the oven is switched off before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance operations.
  2. The oven must be cleaned after each use. Do not use metal objects for cleaning; otherwise, the non-stick coating will be damaged.
  3. When you have finished using the oven, unplug it and wait for all the parts to cool down. If you remove the rack, it will take less time to cool.
  4. Clean the oven body with a damp cloth or non-abrasive sponge.
  5. Wash the rack and pizza stone with hot, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Please note, as mentioned above, that the stone is made of a porous material. Therefore, stains are likely to be permanently imprinted on the stone itself.
  6. Use a brush to clean the heating elements if they have become dirty.

5. TROUBLESHOOTING

The pizzas are not crispyYou are cooking pizzas with too thick a crust.Pizzas with thick dough are not crispy unless they are cooked too long, and the pizza is overcooked. Try to cook thinner dough pizzas and always remember to let the oven preheat as well as the pizza stone.

The oven door leaksWater condensation.Due to the rapid and powerful rise in temperature, there is a very strong condensation of water inside the oven. The door frame is insulated, but it is possible that some drips may spill outside. This is not a malfunction.
