- Toasting bread
① NOTES:
The toasting result depends, among other things, on the type, moisture, and freshness of the bread.
Dry or white bread browns quicker than fresh or dark bread.
Insert the slice of bread in the centre of the toasting slot to achieve even browning.
We suggest browning level 3 for golden browning when toasting 2 slices of bread.
Browning level 6 causes a very strong browning. Thick bread slices may cause smoke to form. In this case, stop the toasting process: Press 2.
If you only want to toast a single slice of bread, use a lower browning level than forasting 2 slices of bread.
- Insert a slice of bread into each toasting slot 1.
Do not use bread slices that are too thick.
The bread must not be jammed in the toast slot. - Set the browning level: Set the control dial to one of the browning levels, from 1 to 6.
1 = very light toasting/light browning
6 = very strong toasting/very strong browning - Press down the lever 8 until it clicks into place. The bread is lowered. The product switches on.
NOTE: The lever 8 only engages when the mains plug 3 is connected to a mains socket.
- When the toasting process is finished, the bread is lifted up. The lever [8] moves upwards.
- Remove the bread from the toasting slot 1
- Cancel toasting
Press 2 . The lever 8 moves upwards.
