GENERAL SAFETY CONDITIONS IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
- Before using the device, read the user manual and follow the instructions contained therein. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused by using the device contrary to its intended use or improper operation.
- The device is for home use only. Do not use for other purposes than its intended use.
- The device must only be connected to a grounded socket 220-240V \~ 50-60Hz.
In order to increase operational safety, do not connect multiple electrical devices to one circuit at the same time.

To provide additional protection, it is advisable to install a residual current device (RCD) in the electrical circuit with a rated residual current not exceeding 30 mA. In this regard, contact a specialist electrician.

Be especially careful when using the device when children are nearby. Do not allow children to play with the device. Do not allow children or people who are not familiar with the device to use it.

WARNING: This equipment may be used by children over 8 years of age and by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or persons who have no experience or knowledge of the equipment, if this is done under the supervision of a person responsible for their safety or if they
have been given instructions on how to use the device safely and are aware of the dangers associated with its use.
Children should not play with the equipment. Cleaning and maintenance of the device should not be performed by children, unless they are over 8 years of age and these activities are performed under supervision.

Do not immerse the cable, plug or the entire device in water or any other liquid. Do not expose the device to weather conditions (rain, sun, etc.) or use in conditions of increased humidity (bathrooms, damp camping houses).

Periodically check the condition of the power cord. If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by a specialist repair shop in order to avoid a hazard.

Do not use the device with a damaged power cord or if it has been dropped or damaged in any other way or does not work properly. Do not repair the device yourself, as this may cause electric shock. Return the damaged device to an appropriate service center for examination or repair. All repairs may only be performed by authorized service centers. Improperly performed repairs may cause serious danger

Place the device on a cool, stable, even surface, away from hot kitchen appliances such as: electric stove, gas burner, etc.

Do not use the device near flammable materials.

The power cord must not hang over the edge of a table or touch hot surfaces.

If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may spurt out of it.

NOTE: The kettle may only be used with the base provided.

NOTE: Before lifting the kettle from the base, make sure the kettle is switched off.

This equipment is intended for boiling clean water for domestic and similar uses such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments, utility rooms, by clients in hotels, motels and other similar residential environments, and in bedroom and breakfast rooms.

Always exercise extreme caution when boiling water in a kettle. Do not touch the kettle body or lid. Do not open the kettle lid while boiling or immediately after boiling, as the escaping steam can cause scalding.

The kettle can only be carried by holding it by the handle.

Do not fill the kettle above the MAX level or below the MIN level, as this may cause burns or damage to the kettle.

Do not turn on the kettle without water, as this may damage it.

Do not use the kettle without a filter or with the lid open, as this will prevent the automatic switch from working.

The kettle should be descaled periodically using designated agents. Using a kettle with a scaled heating element will damage it and void the warranty.

Do not use aggressive detergents to clean the kettle casing as they may damage the kettle or remove any markings.

The device is not intended to be operated using external time switches or a separate remote control system.

Do not wash the kettle base directly in water, only wipe it with a dry cloth.

Children aged 3 to under 8 years may only switch the appliance on and off if it is in its normal operating position, if they are supervised or if they have been instructed on its safe use and understand the resulting dangers. Children aged 3 to under 8 years may not connect, operate, clean or maintain the appliance themselves.

Before you start using it
Fill the kettle with water to the Max level three times, boil it and pour it out. To remove any factory smell, boil the water in the kettle several times.

Fill the kettle with water and check that the heating element is completely covered with water.

Place the base on a stable, flat and heat-resistant surface.
-
Plug the power cord into a 220-240V\~50-60Hz power outlet and press the switch. The indicator light will come on.

Once the water boils, the kettle will turn off automatically.
-
Before removing the kettle from the base, check that it has been turned off.
-
To turn off the kettle before the water boils, press the switch. The indicator light will go out.
-
The kettle lid must be closed while boiling. Only then will the automatic switch-off function.
-
The kettle can be re-started approximately 2 minutes after it was last used.

Switching on an empty kettle or one that is not filled enough with enough water will automatically switch off the device. In this case, wait a few minutes. Pour in the appropriate amount of water and switch the kettle on again.

Do not leave the kettle on unattended.

The kettle is an electrical device not intended for storing water or any other liquids. After boiling water, it should be immediately poured into another container. Water after boiling in the kettle should not remain in it for longer than 10 minutes. Before each use, fill the kettle with fresh water above the minimum level and below the maximum level.
Cleaning and maintenance
The limescale that forms inside the kettle should be removed regularly. This activity is not covered by the warranty service. Failure to descale regularly will damage the kettle and void the warranty. For descaling, use specially designed preparations according to the instructions for use of the descaler. After descaling, rinse the kettle very thoroughly three times. Filter (8)

They may lead to numerous health ailments, such as: vision, hearing and speech disorders, and may also damage the kidneys, liver and heart, and cause skin diseases. Harmful substances may also have an adverse effect on the respiratory and reproductive systems and lead to cancerous changes. Consumption of plants growing in contaminated soils, and products made from them, may pose a risk of the above health effects.
- Used electrical and electronic equipment should only be delivered to authorised collection points, a list of which should be available on the website of each Municipal Office.
- The household plays an important role in contributing to the reuse and recovery, including recycling, of used equipment. It also plays a key role in the waste management system for used electrical and electronic equipment due to the possibility of direct transfer to authorized collection points and the elimination of undesirable social habits resulting in leaving waste equipment in places not intended for this purpose.
