The charger is compatible with electric vehicles equipped with a Type 2 charging socket (European standard). It supports Plug and Play and app charging modes.

How to adjust the charging current?

You can adjust the current by pressing the button on the panel: 16 A, 13 A, 10 A, or 8 A. The yellow LED flashes once for 8 A, twice for 10 A, three times for 13 A, and four times for 16 A. You can also adjust it via the mobile app.

Can I use the app to schedule delayed charging?

Yes, the app allows you to schedule delayed charging with a delay of 1 to 12 hours. Note that once charging has started, it is no longer possible to modify the current or the schedule via the app or the button.

What to do if the red LED flashes and charging does not work?

A flashing red LED indicates a fault. Check the app or screen (if available) to identify the error code. Possible causes include overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, overheating, or ground fault. Contact customer service with the error information.

How to connect the charger to the mobile app?

Download the Tuya Smart (or Smart Life) app. Enable Bluetooth, WiFi, and location on your phone. Press the 'A' button on the charger for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode. The app will automatically detect the device. Follow the instructions to connect WiFi and complete the setup.

Is the charger water and dust resistant?

Yes, the charger has an IP66 protection rating, meaning it is protected against water jets and dust. It can be used outdoors, but avoid exposing it to extreme weather conditions.

How to clean and maintain the charger?

Keep the charging point clean and dry. Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe off dirt. Do not touch the charging pins. Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the device. In case of thunderstorms or rain, be cautious.

What to do if the charging current is abnormally low?

The charger automatically reduces the current if it detects unstable mains voltage or aging circuits. If you notice a persistent reduction, contact a qualified electrician to check your electrical installation.

How to install the provided wall bracket?

Drill two 8mm holes 1200 mm from the floor, insert expansion plugs, then fix the wall bracket with screws. Hang the charger on the bracket. Use the provided hook to store the charging cable.

What is the procedure in case of a ground fault warning?

If the red LED flashes once every 2 seconds, it indicates a ground fault. Check that the socket is properly grounded. If it is, open the app, note the device virtual ID, and contact customer service for a software update.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

1. Before installation, please check the grid for single-phase 230 V ±10% (50 Hz). Otherwise, unable to use it.
2. Detection of the charging device has the function of user network circuit capacity. When the electric grid circuit of the user cannot bear the charging power of the charging device, the device will automatically reduce the charging power and then charge the electric vehicle. This function can solve the problem of frequent tripping caused by the user's grid voltage instability, circulating and other problems. At the same time, it can reduce the safety problem caused by the user's circuit problems. If the charging power is reduced in use, it is a normal phenomenon.
3. This equipment has over-voltage and under-voltage protection; it also has overload protection. After the device automatically adjusts the charging power, if the user's grid voltage is still abnormal, the device will automatically shut down charging and stop operation.

7. It is strictly prohibited to use the charging pile if the charging cable is broken, worn, or exposed, or if the charging pile has been obviously knocked down or damaged. If such issues are found, please stay away from the charging pile immediately and contact the staff.
8. If a fire, electric shock, or other abnormal situation occurs during charging, immediately press the stop button to ensure personal safety.
9. Please do not attempt to remove, maintain, or modify the charging pile. Improper use may cause damage, leakage, and other hazards.

EQUIPMENT INSTRUCTIONS

1. After the device is powered on, it enters the standby state.

2.1 Adjust the charging current: click the button to adjust the charging gear: 16A-13A-10A-8A-16A. Cycle the current in this order. 2.2 Appointment charging: Use the delayed charging function in the app to make appointments, with a delay of 1-12 hours.

Note: After charging starts, the charging speed and appointment cannot be adjusted (both through buttons and apps).

2.3 Start charging: After inserting the charging gun head into the vehicle charging port, start charging and the yellow light flashes (if no appointment has been set).

3. APP download and binding use

a. To download the smart APP, enter the following address in the mobile browser:

Click the website and follow the prompts to install.

b. QR code download

Open the mobile browser or other social software, scan the QR code, and follow the APP according to the prompts.

3.1 Binding and Using Devices

a. Open the installed APP, click Agree privacy Statement, you can register with your mobile phone number, social software binding registration, and log in to the APP after a successful registration.

Press A for 5 seconds on the charging panel to enter the APP mode;

Press and hold the charging panel "A" for 5 seconds again to enter the Plug and Play charging mode.

b. Turn on the Location, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi of the mobile phone. If the

charging device is in standby state, the APP will automatically search for the charging device and display the device name.

c. Click Add to add the device, enter the Wi-Fi pairing interface, and automatically identify the Wi-Fi name of the phone. Click Next, and the device will be automatically bound. After the binding is successful, a message will be displayed indicating that the device has been successfully added. Finally, click the "Finish" icon and wait about 5 seconds for the device to be bound.

d. You can also click "+" in the upper right corner of the APP to manually add the device. Select the category of "Energy saving" in the left column, pull up the device type, find the device "Car charging pile (Bluetooth + Wi-Fi)", click to enter, and then click "Confirm indicator flashing" and "Fast flashing" as prompted. Enter the Wi-Fi password (the Wi-Fi password connected to the mobile phone) and click Next to match the password, and always set the bound device as prompted. After binding the device, charge it according to the APP interface.

e. Device Wi-Fi reset:

Press both "A" and "R" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds, and the device's Wi-Fi will reset.

Note: The APP can set charging current, reserve charging time, and other functions; you can also query the real-time charging status. APP controls the charging function, which is not limited by the charging mode of the device.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDANCE

1. Poor grounding alerts for faults.

Failure manifestations: Red light flashes once every 2 seconds and "Ground Fault" is displayed on the screen.

Fault clearance:

A. Check whether the socket is well grounded, and if not, do a good job of grounding. B. If it is confirmed that it is well grounded, check the virtual ID of the device in the APP and provide the virtual ID to the after-sales. C. Wait for after-sales to notify customers to update the device software version in the APP.

1. The device has a solid yellow light and cannot be charged.

Failure manifestations: The device is powered on and connected to the electric vehicle, the yellow light of the device is always on, and it cannot be charged.

Fault clearance:

A. Check the instruction manual, download and install the APP, and start charging in the APP. B. It is also possible to remove the charging cable, press the device "A" button for 5s, and then plug the charging cable into the electric car.

1. Charging is not possible and the red light flashes.

Failure manifestations: The device is plugged in, the charging cable is connected to the electric car, the device flashes red and cannot be charged.

Fault clearance:

A. If the product has a display, check the display fault message of the display. B. If the product does not have a display screen, download the APP by referring to the manual and view the alarm information in the APP. C. Feedback the fault information to our after-sales service.

5.1 The installation method is wall hanging

a. Take out the provided wall mounting fasteners and carefully check the installation dimensions of the screw holes.

b. Select the installation location of the device. The lowest position of the equipment is a wall-mounted fastener 1200 mm above the ground.

c. Drill 2 holes with a diameter of 8mm according to the location of the fixed screw holes of the wall-mounted fasteners, and tap in the expansion rubber plugs. Fix the mounting plate with nuts to secure the chassis.
