How to connect the charger to the battery?

LED1 red, LED2 white. If both LEDs are red, the charger is charging. If LED1 is red and LED2 is green, the charger is in standby or the battery is full.

The charger does not turn on, what should I do?

Check that the power cord is properly plugged in. If the output fuse is blown, replace it with a fuse of the same type and specifications. If the problem persists, contact your dealer.

What type of battery can I charge?

This charger is designed for 12 V lead-acid batteries (charging voltage 14.6 V). Ensure that the voltage and capacity of the battery match the charger specifications.

Can I leave the charger plugged in permanently?

It is not recommended to leave the charger plugged in unattended. Once the battery is full, the charger switches to float mode, but for safety reasons, unplug it after use.

How to maintain the charger?

Regularly clean dust from the vents and fan with an alcohol-soaked cloth. Do not use the charger in a humid or high-temperature environment.

What to do if the charger overheats?

The charger has thermal protection. If it overheats, it goes into standby. Let it cool in a ventilated area; it will resume operation automatically.

Can I use this charger with a frozen or damaged battery?

No, never attempt to charge a frozen or damaged battery, as this could cause an explosion. Use only batteries in good condition and compatible.

Is the charger compatible with 110 V voltage?

No, the model UY360-HF1220 is designed for an input voltage of 220-240 VAC. For 110 V use, refer to model UY360-LF1220.

How to replace the output fuse?

Disconnect the charger from the battery and the mains. Open the fuse holder and replace the blown fuse with a fuse of the same type (see the manual for exact specification). Close the fuse holder.

CHARGE CURVE

1. T0 Constant Current (CC) Stage: The charger delivers maximum output current for rapid charging. The stage automatically terminates when battery voltage reaches the maximum charging voltage.

2. T1 Constant Voltage (CV) Stage: The charger maintains output voltage at full-charge level while charging current gradually decreases. Charging completes when current drops to 5% - 10% of maximum value, at which point the battery is determined as fully charged.

MAINTENANCE

WARNING: Before carrying out the following operations, make sure the charger is disconnected from the battery and the power supply.

1. Routine maintenance
2. Regularly clean dust from the vents and fan to ensure proper heat dissipation of the charger.
3. Periodically wipe the case with a cloth moistened with a little alcohol.
4. Do not use or store the charger in a humid or high-temperature environment.
5. Replacing the fuse

If the charger fails to charge, check whether the output fuse is blown. Replace it with a fuse of the same type and rating as specified, and ensure it is securely seated in the holder.

PRECAUTIONS

1. Do not cover the charger or its air intakes during charging.
2. Place the charger out of reach of children.
3. Please charge in an indoor area with good ventilation and heat dissipation. Charging is prohibited in humid, high-temperature, or flammable/explosive gas environments.

High voltage is present inside the charger case. Do not disassemble it without authorization.

1. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any losses caused by failure to operate the device in accordance with the instruction manual.
2. If the circuit breaker trips while using the charger, please turn off other electrical appliances.
3. Due to line voltage drop, the charging current begins to decrease as it approaches the maximum charge voltage.
4. When not charging or after charging is complete, be sure to unplug the DC terminal and the AC terminal.

COMMON FAULTS AND HANDLING METHODS

	Charger has damaged	Send charger back to local dealer for repair. There is high-voltage inside charger, please don't open the charger personally.
