The precautions in this manual are divided into the following [warning] and [attention].

For your own safety, please strictly abide by the following precautions.

WARNING
When power is on, the temperature of the soldering iron tip might be 50 ~ 500 °C (122 ~ 932°F).
Misuse may cause burns and fire, please strictly observe the following precautions:
- Do not touch the soldering iron tip or the metal part around it while it is hot.
- Do not use it around combustibles.
- Potential high temperature risk should be warned.
- Turn OFF the power when not in use.
- Before replacing parts or tip, turn off the power and wait until the iron cools down.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- If the power cord is damaged, please ask the manufacturer or its service agent or similar qualified personnel to repair it, so as to avoid personal injury or product damage.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
USING METHOD (AE960D)
- Operation and display instructions

Panel display:
LED segment: digital display
Indicator: indicates the status of heater (light on/off means power on/off)
Function key: function operation (Press no more than 1s means short press, press over 1s means long press)
Knob: to adjust temperature
Calibration hole: to calibrate the temperature
2. Turn on the power switch
Turn on the power switch. The LED will light up and display "888" for 1 second followed by the temperature unit "--C" or "--F" for 1 second. If the standby function is enabled, it will then display "SLP" for 1 second. It will then display set temperature for 1.5 seconds, followed by the current actual temperature. Once the temperature stabilizes, the heating element's power indicator LED will start flashing.
MAINTENANCE
In order to make this product durable, please maintain it regularly. The lifespan of this product depends on the used temperature, quality of solder wire and solder paste, frequency of use etc. Please repair and maintain it according to specific conditions.
Warning: Please pay close attention when the soldering station is in temperature, turn off the power and unplug the power cord after use.
Soldering iron tip maintenance
- Set the temperature to 250°C (480°F).
- After the temperature is stable, clean the soldering iron tip with a brass wool and check its condition.
- If black oxide is attached to it, please apply new solder (including flux) at it repeatedly with a brass wool until it's clean, then apply some new solder.
- If the soldering iron tip has been deformed, perforated or worn out, please replace it with a new one.
