Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the safety and operating instructions.
Important : This appliance can be used by children over 8 years old and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or with a lack of experience or knowledge if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and the risks involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised. Never leave the appliance and its cord unsupervised and within reach of children less than 8 years old or irresponsible persons when it is plugged into the wall or when it is cooling down.
☐ Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.
□ Only connect the appliance to a mains earthed wall socket.
☐ To ensure a major security, it is recommended to set up a current flight jump of 30 mA in the electric circuit that supplies the appliance. Ask your electrician for advice.
□ Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
From time to time check the appliance for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage. In that case, repairs should be made by a competent qualified electrician(*). Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent qualified electrician(*) in order to avoid all danger.
☐ Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions.
□ Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever. Never place it into the dishwasher.
□ Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the power supply.
□ Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
☐ Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
☐ Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
☐ In order to avoid any possible damage due to the normal temperatures of the appliance in use, please respect the following installation instructions:
- place the back side as close to the wall as possible
- leave at least 10 cm of free space on each side and above the appliance.
☐ As a general rule, make sure there is enough ventilation in the room around this appliance during operation. Stand the appliance on a stable heat-resistant surface (not a varnished table or a table cloth).
☐ Make sure the appliance has cooled down before cleaning and storing it.
☐ Only cook consumable food. Do not place large pieces of food or metallic utensils in the airfryer in order to avoid all risk of fire or electrocution. Also never place the following materials in the air fryer: paper, cardboard or plastic...
☐ It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into contact with food.
☐ Make sure the cord never comes into contact with the hot parts of the appliance.
☐ The temperature of the accessible surfaces, such as the door of the airfryer, may be very high when the appliance is in use. Never touch those surfaces during use nor before the appliance has totally cooled down, and only handle the knobs.
☐ Make sure the hot parts of the appliance never come into contact with inflammable materials, such as curtains, cloth, etc. when it is in use, as a fire might occur. Also make sure not to cover the appliance and do not put anything on top of it.
Make sure nothing comes into contact with the heating element of the appliance.
☐ CAUTION: the appliance can reach high temperatures when in use. Preparations might catch fire if they are overheated. Before pulling the mains plug, switch the temperature selector to "MIN".
☐ If you use the appliance under a cooking hob, make sure to respect the minimum distance advised by the manufacturer.
☐ Whatever happens, never add more than 4 tablespoons of oil or any other liquid to prepare the food to avoid fire hazards.
□ Always unplug the appliance after use and let it cool down before handling or storing it.
☐ Do not put foodstuffs into the basket that fill the entire volume of the cooking chamber, as this may cause a fire and destroy the appliance.
☐ Do not fill the pot with oil as this may cause a fire hazard.
□ Never touch the inside of the appliance while it is operating.
☐ Do not use metal scrapers to clean the appliance. Fragments coming off the scrapers might come into contact with metal parts which would entail a risk of electrocution.
☐ Do not use the appliance if the bowl is not in place.
□ Always put the ingredients to be fried in the basket, to prevent them from coming into contact with the heating elements.
☐ Your appliance must never be switched on through an external timer or any kind of separate remote control system.
☐ During hot air frying, hot steam is released through the air outlet openings. Keep your hands and face at a safe distance from the steam and from the air outlet openings.
☐ Also be careful of hot steam and air when you remove the basket and oil pan from the appliance.
(*) Competent qualified electrician: after-sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In case of need you should return the appliance to this electrician.
BEFORE FIRST USE
- Remove all packaging materials and stickers or labels.
- Clean the basket and frying plate with hot water, with some washing liquid and a non-abrasive sponge. These parts are dishwasher safe.
- Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a cloth.
USE
- Put the frying plate into the frying basket
- Place the ingredients in the basket and slide the basket back in.
Note : Never fill the basket with oil or any other liquid.
- Turn the temperature control knob (6) to the proper temperature.
- Turn the timer knob (5) to the required preparation time.
• See section 'Settings' to determine the right time and temperature.
Add 2 minutes to preparation time if the appliance is cold.
Note: If you want, you can also preheat the appliance empty by turning the knobs on the desired temperature and on 2 min.
When the lights goes out (after about 2 minutes), fill the basket and turn the timer knob to the required preparation time.
- When heating, the green power-on light (4) and the red heating-up light (3) go on. During the hot air frying cooking, the heating-up light comes on and goes out from time to time: this indicates that the heating element is switched on and off to maintain the settled temperature.
- Some ingredients are best turned halfway during the preparation time: pull the basket out by the handle (2), turn the food with non-abrasive cooking tongs, then slide the basket back into the air fryer.
- When you hear the timer alert, the set preparation time has elapsed: remove the frying basket from the appliance using the handle, and place the basket on a heat-resistant support.
Note: You can also switch off the appliance manually before the end of the settled time by turning the temperature knob to 0.
- Check if the ingredients are ready. If not, simply slide the cooking basket back into the appliance and set the timer to a few extra minutes until the food is ready.
- When ready, remove ingredients using non-abrasive cooking tongs.
Note : Excess oil from the ingredients is collected on the bottom of the basket. : to avoid oil splatter, don't turn over the pan.
• The emptied air fryer is instantly ready for preparing another batch of ingredients.
SETTINGS
This table below will help you to select the basic settings for the ingredients. These settings are for reference only as time and temperature may slightly vary depending on size, shape and weight of ingredients.
Tips :
• Larger ingredients or larger amounts of food require a longer cooking time.
• Pre-made dough requires a shorter cooking time than home-made dough.
• Shaking ingredients halfway during cooking time prevents uneven frying.
- Add 12 teaspoon of oil over fresh potatoes and mingle for a crispy result.
• Do not prepare extremely greasy ingredients such as sausages in the air fryer.
• Snacks that can be cooked in the oven can also be cooked in the air fryer.
- The optimal amount to cook crispy fries is 500 grams.
- Place a baking tin or oven dish in the air fryer basket to bake cakes and quiches.
• You can reheat ingredients: set the temperature to 150^ C for 10 minutes.

CLEANING AND STORAGE
Always remove the plug and wait for the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning.
- Clean the appliance after each use.
• Clean the frying plate and basket with hot water and some detergent. - Do not clean the appliance or its accessories with metallic or abrasive sponges, as this may damage the non-stick coating.
- Wipe the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.
- Do NOT immerse in water or any other liquid.
Note: the frying plate and basket are dishwasher-proof.
- Store the appliance when clean and dry in its original box to avoid dust and humidity.
PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT – DIRECTIVE 2012/19/EU
In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the
implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol on the rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it to a municipal collection point performing waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in accordance with the directive.
ERP DECLARATION – REGULATION 1275/2008/EC
We, TKG Sprl/Bvba, hereby confirm that our product meets the requirements of regulation 1275/2008/EC. Admittedly, our product does not dispose of a function to minimize the power consumption, which should according to regulation 1275/2008/EC put the product in off or standby mode after finishing the main function, but this is practically impossible, as it would compromise the main function of the product so strongly, that using the product would no longer be possible!
For this reason we always tell the customer in our instruction manual to unplug the appliance immediately after use.
The user manual is by simple request also available in electronic format from the after-sales service (see warranty card).
