Please read this manual carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the safety and operating instructions.
Important : This appliance can be used by children over 8 years old and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or with a lack of experience or knowledge if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and the risks involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.
Never leave the appliance and its cord unsupervised and within reach of children less than 8 years old or irresponsible persons when it is plugged into the wall or when it is cooling down.
☐ Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.
□ Only connect the appliance to a mains earthed wall socket.
□ Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
From time to time check the appliance for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage. In that case, repairs should be made by a competent qualified electrician(*). Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent qualified electrician(*) in order to avoid all danger.
☐ Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions.
□ Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever. Never place it into the dishwasher.
□ Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the power supply.
□ Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
□ Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
☐ Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
☐ Leave at least 10 cm of free space on each side and above the appliance.
☐ As a general rule, make sure there is enough ventilation in the room around this appliance during operation. Stand the appliance on a stable heat-resistant surface (not a varnished table or a table cloth).
☐ Make sure the appliance has cooled down before cleaning and storing it.
☐ Only cook consumable food. Do not place large pieces of food or metallic utensils in the oven in order to avoid all risk of fire or electrocution. Also never place the following materials in the oven: paper, cardboard or plastic...
☐ It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into contact with food.
☐ Make sure the cord never comes into contact with the hot parts of the appliance.
☐ Make sure the hot parts of the appliance never come into contact with inflammable materials, such as curtains, cloth, etc. when it is in use, as a fire might occur. Also make sure not to cover the appliance and do not put anything on top of it. Make sure nothing comes into contact with the heating element of the appliance.
☐ CAUTION: the appliance can reach high temperatures when in use. Preparations might catch fire if they are overheated. Before pulling the mains plug, switch the temperature selector to "MIN".
☐ Whatever happens, never add oil or any other liquid to prepare the food.
□ Always unplug the appliance after use and let it cool down before handling or storing it.
☐ Do not put foodstuffs into the oven that fill the entire volume of the cooking chamber, as this may cause a fire and destroy the appliance.
☐ Do not use metal scrapers to clean the appliance. Fragments coming off the scrapers might come into contact with metal parts which would entail a risk of electrocution.
☐ Do not use the appliance if the bowl is not in place.
☐ Your appliance must never be switched on through an external timer or any kind of separate remote control system.
☐ Please note: Should the symbol be indicated on a certain surface, you need to be careful when handling the product. This symbol means: CAUTION, this surface may get very hot during use.
The symbol is always put on the surface with the highest temperature, however the other metallic or non-metallic surfaces can also become very hot during use and it is therefore advisable to always handle them with care and if possible with the help of isothermal gloves or other thermal protection. In case of doubt concerning the temperature of a certain surface it is always preferable to protect oneself.
(*) Competent qualified electrician: after-sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In case of need you should return the appliance to this electrician.
BEFORE USE
Unpack the appliance and accessories, then wash and wipe the accessories.
PREHEATING
When the appliance has been plugged in, set the thermostat on the desired temperature and set the timer (between 0 and 10 minutes). To reach a stable and correct temperature for use, it is necessary to wait 5 minutes. During this time, the temperature control light will go on and off several times. A good preheating will allow you to have browned and crispy fries.
HOT AIR FRYING
- Connect the mains plug into an earthed wall socket.
- Place the cooking grid at the bottom of the basket
- Carefully pull the basket out of the air fryer
- Place the ingredients in the basket.
- Slide the basket into the AIR FRYER
Caution: Do not touch the basket during and in short-time after use, as it gets very hot : Only hold the basket by the handle.
- Turn the temperature control knob to the proper temperature. See the 'Settings' section in this chapter to determine the right temperature (fig.7).
- Determine the required preparation time for the ingredient (see the 'Settings' section in this chapter).
- To switch on the appliance, turn the timer knob to the required preparation time.
- The power-on light and the heating-up light go on.
- The timer starts counting down the settled preparation time.

During the hot air frying process, the heating-up light comes on and goes out from time to time. This indicates that the heating element is switched on and off to maintain the settled temperature.

Some ingredients require shaking halfway during the preparation time (see section 'Settings' in this chapter). To do so, pull the basket out of the appliance by the handle and shake it. Then slide the basket back into the air fryer.

When you hear the timer bell, the set preparation time has elapsed. Pull the pan out of the appliance and place it on the heat-resistant holder.
Note: You can also switch off the appliance manually by turning the temperature knob to 0.

Check if the ingredients are ready. If the ingredients are not ready yet, simply slide the pan back into the appliance and set the timer to a few extra minutes.

Empty the basket into a bowl on onto a plate.

Note: Keep in mind that these settings are indications. As ingredients differ in origin, size, shape and brand, we cannot guarantee the best setting for your ingredients.

CLEANING
• Before cleaning, switch off and unplug the appliance and let it cool down.
- Clean the body of the appliance with a damp cloth.
- The basket can be cleaned in warm soapy water.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not use strong detergents or abrasive cloths/liquid, as this will damage the appliance.
PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT – DIRECTIVE 2012/19/EU
In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the
implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol on the rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it to a municipal collection point performing waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in accordance with the directive.
ERP DECLARATION - REGULATION 1275/2008/EC
We, TKG Sprl/Bvba, hereby confirm that our product meets the requirements of regulation 1275/2008/EC. Admittedly, our product does not dispose of a function to minimize the power consumption, which should according to regulation 1275/2008/EC put the product in off or standby mode after finishing the main function, but this is practically impossible, as it would compromise the main function of the product so strongly, that using the product would no longer be possible!
For this reason we always tell the customer in our instruction manual to unplug the appliance immediately after use.
