Safety instructions

• The provided power supply should only use to charge this product (KFB 222).
• Never expose rechargeable batteries to excessive heat (e.g. bright sun, fire), and never throw them into fire. The rechargeable batteries could explode.
• The rechargeable batteries are permanently built into the product and cannot be replaced. When disposing the product, please consult an electrician or your retailer to remove and dispose the built in batteries in an environmentally friendly manner.
• Never damage the rechargeable batteries. Damaging the casing of the rechargeable battery might cause an explosion or a fire!
• Never short-circuit the contacts of the rechargeable batteries. Do not throw the rechargeable batteries or the product into fire. There is a danger of fire and explosion!

3. Never leave the product unsupervised while it is switched on.

4. Do not under any circumstances attempt (e.g. damaged power cord, product has been dropped etc.) to repair the product yourself. For servicing and repairs, please consult an authorised service agent.

5. Use this product in dry indoor areas only and never outdoors.

6. Never use, expose or put the product near to:

- direct sunlight and dust;

- fire (fireplace, grill, candles), water (water splashes, bath tube) or heavy moisture.

2. Clean the product and all other accessories after each use.

3. Charge the rechargeable batteries regularly, even if you are not using the product. Due to the rechargeable batteries technology being used, you do not need to discharge the rechargeable battery first.

4. Never charge the rechargeable batteries of the product unattended.

5. This product is NOT a toy. Keep the product out of the reach of children.

6. Charge, use and store the product at a temperature between 10^ C/50°F and 40^ C/104°F.

7. Suitable for cleaning under an open water tap.

8. Suitable for use in a bath or shower.

9. IPX6 Protected against powerful water jets.

10. Detachable supply unit.

11. Important! Check to ensure that the product is in a serviceable condition before use. The product shall not be used if it shows any signs of damage or it's suspected to be defect.

Intended use

This product is suitable for the cleansing of skin only, especially that of the face excluding sensitive eyes areas. Any other use can lead to damage to the product or injuries.

The Imtron GmbH assumes no liability for damage to the product, for property damage or for personal injury due to careless or improper usage of the product, or usage of the product which does not meet the manufacturer's specified purpose.

For what kind of skin types is this product suitable?

This product is suitable for all skin types.

Do not use the product

• on dry, chapped skin, open wounds, or when you suffer from skin diseases or skin irritation, such as severe acne, sunburn, skin infection, etc.
• if you are taking steroid based medication.
  • on the sensitive skin around the eyes.
  • more than twice a day.
• with other people. (For hygienic reasons, do not share.)
• if you wear piercings on your face, remove the piercings before you use the product or make sure that you do not use the product on or near the piercing.
• if you wear jewelry or glasses, take them off before you use the appliance or make sure you do not use the product on or near the jewelry or glasses.
  • with self-made cleansers or cleansers containing harsh chemicals or rough particles.

Before first time use

Remove the product and its accessories carefully from the original packaging. It is recommended to keep the original packaging for storage. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, please observe applicable legal provisions. Should you have any questions regarding proper disposal, contact your local waste management center. Inspect the delivery contents for completeness and damages. Should the delivery contents be incomplete or damaged, contact your sales outlet immediately.

After unpacking, please refer to chapter Cleaning and care.

Note

Before first time use the built-in batteries must be charged for at least 1.5 hours, please refer to chapter Charging batteries.

Disposal

Do not dispose of this product as unsorted municipal waste. Return it to a designated collection point for the recycling of WEEE.

By doing so, you will help to conserve

resources and protect the environment. Contact your retailer or local authorities for more information.

Please dispose of batteries in an environmentally friendly manner Do not put batteries into the household waste.

Charging batteries

Note

Fully charge the product at least every 3 months to sustain the batteries lifetime.

Note

• Make sure that the contacts of the product and charging base are not dirty. Clean the contacts if necessary.
  • Alternatively you can also charge the product directly by inserting the charging plug directly into the product.

Warning

The product cannot be used while connected to the mains.

Cleansing face

Fig. 6 Moisten the brush head with water or liquid cleanser or apply the cleanser directly on your skin before you use the product.

Note

• Do not use the product with a dry brush head, as this can irritate the skin.
• If you have sensitive skin or experience skin irritation after using the product with the normal brush head, we advise you to switch to the sensitive brush head.

Fig. 8 Slide the on/off switch up to turn on the product. Slide the on/off switch down to turn off the product.

Fig. 9 Move the product continuously with gentle movement over the skin. Do not use strong pressure to avoid skin irritation. Clean each patch of skin for approx. 20 seconds and then move the brush to the next skin patch. When finished, turn off the product and rinse the treated skin with plenty of clear water.

Caution

Do not use the brush head on the sensitive skin around the eyes.

Note

• We advise you to not cleanse your skin for longer than 1 minute, to prevent over-treatment.
- To prevent damage and injuries, keep the operating product (with or without attachment) away from scalp hair, face, eyebrows, eyelashes, clothes, threads, cords, brushes etc.

• Please note that the condition of the skin varies throughout the year. Facial skin can get dryer during the winter season. In that case you may reduce the treatment time or frequency, depending on the needs of your skin.
• Regular cleaning of the product ensures optimal results and a longer lifetime of the product.

Brush head replacement

Damaged brush heads or worn filaments could lead to skin irritation. Therefore brush heads need to be replaced every 3 months or earlier if the filaments are deformed or damaged. Replacement brush heads are available from the shop where you purchased your product.

Cleaning and care

Warning

• When cleaning, never use solvents or abrasive materials, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects. Solvents are harmful to human health and can attack plastic parts, while abrasive cleaning mechanisms and tools may scratch the surface(s).
• Never immerse any electrical part of the product in water or in other liquids during cleaning. Never place it under running water.
• Do not clean the product with water that is hotter than shower temperature (max. 40°C/104°F).
• Do not put the product or any part of it in the dishwasher.

Cleaning brush head

Note

Clean the product and the brush head thoroughly with water after each use, to ensure optimum performance. Make sure the product is switched off before you start cleaning it.

10 Rinse the handle and the brush head under the tap with warm water. Remove the brush head from the product. Clean the back of the brush head and the connection pin of the product under the tap.

Charging station and adaptor

Caution

Always keep the charging station dry. Never rinse it under the tap or immerse it in or any other fluid.

11 Only wipe the charging station with a dry cloth.

Troubleshooting

If there are any problems during operation, please refer to the following table. If problems cannot be solved as indicated under Solution, please contact your manufacturer.
