Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
- If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service or similar qualified personnel to avoid risks.
- You must allow the appliance to be disconnected from the power supply after installation.
- This symbol means: CAUTION: hot surface. Surfaces are likely to heat up during use.
- The appliance heats up during use. Avoid touching the heating elements inside.
- WARNING: all accessible parts of the appliance and the appliance itself may heat up during use. Do not touch the heating elements. Children under 8 years of age should be kept away from the appliance unless continuously supervised.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

First use
Before using the appliance for the first time, proceed as follows:
- Use only a slightly damp cloth to clean the appliance and then dry it with a soft cloth.
- Next, operate the warming drawer with no load for at least two hours. Adjust the temperature control at the maximum.
- Make sure the room is well ventilated.
- The metallic components have a protective layer which may release a slight odour when using the appliance for the first time.
- The smell and any vapour will dissipate after a short time. This does not indicate a faulty connection or a faulty appliance, it is normal.
3. INSTALLATION
Safety instructions for installation
- Before connecting the appliance to the mains, make sure that the voltage and frequency correspond to the rating on the rating plate. This information must be observed to avoid the risk of damage to the warming drawer. If in doubt, contact a qualified electrician.
- The mains socket and the power button must be accessible once the device is installed.
- If you install the warming drawer in combination with another suitable appliance, it must be mounted on top of a fixed intermediate shelf in the housing unit to ensure that the housing unit can support both its weight and that of the other appliance.
- If the other device is installed directly over the warming drawer, you do not need to install an intermediate shelf between both appliances.
- When installing the warming drawer together with another appliance, it is essential to follow the instructions in the operating and installation instructions supplied with the other appliance.
Installation space
In figure 3, you can see the dimensions (mm) required for the installation.
Placing the warming drawer in the housing unit
Insert the warming drawer into the housing unit. If the warming drawer is not to be installed in combination with another appliance, please follow the installation steps below:
- Open the warming drawer and fix it to the side walls of the housing unit with the 2 screws provided.
- The warming drawer comes with three metal trims, the lower part of which is adhesive. These trims must be glued onto the drawer in such a way that they seal the gaps between the housing unit and the warming drawer. Any air gaps that are created act as additional insulation and help prevent heat loss.
- Carefully remove the protective film from the underside of each trim.
- Next, position the trims as shown in figure 4 so that they are level with the side walls and rear wall of the housing unit, and then attach them to the warming drawer. If the housing unit does not have a rear wall, the third trim is not required.
Electrical connections
- All electrical work must be carried out by qualified and competent personnel only, in strict compliance with national and local safety regulations.
- Voltage, nominal load and plug rating can be found on the rating plate. Please, make sure that they match the domestic mains supply.
- The connection must be made via a switched socket outlet that is easily accessible after installation. For safety reasons, it is recommended to install a residual current device (RCD) with a tripping current of 30mA . Do not connect through an extension cable.

WARNING
This appliance must be connected to an earthed socket.
Important
The power cables are coloured as follows:
- Green/Yellow: ground
- Blue: neutral
- Brown: phase connector
Since the colours of the power cables of this appliance may not match the coloured markings identifying the terminals of its plug, contact a qualified electrician to proceed as follows:
- The green and yellow cable must be connected to the plug terminal marked with the letter E or with the earth symbol.
- The blue cable must be connected to the terminal marked N or black.
- The brown cable must be connected to the terminal marked L or red.
4. OPERATION
General information
- The warming drawer is designed exclusively for heating dishes.
- It uses a hot air heating system. A fan distributes the heat given off by a heating element evenly throughout the drawer. The circulating air ensures that the dishes are heated evenly and quickly.
- A protective grid protects you from touching the fan or the heating elements.
- Keep these instructions in a safe place for reference and pass them on to any future user.
- Do not use the warming drawer to reheat, cook or keep food or beverages hot. Condensation from food or beverages may corrode the appliance.
- Always use heat-resistant gloves when removing hot dishes from the drawer.
- The maximum load capacity of the warming drawer is 25kg
Controls
- The controls consist of a temperature knob and a power button. They are only visible when the drawer is open.
- When the drawer is closed, you can tell if the warming drawer is on because the power button is illuminated through the hole in the front of the drawer.
Use of the drawer
- Place the tableware inside the drawer.
- Select the desired temperature.
- Switch on the warming drawer. The button will light up.
- Close the drawer carefully. If you use too much force, it may open again.
- Switch off the warming drawer before removing the warm tableware.
Setting the temperature
- The temperature knob allows you to select any temperature between approximately 30 °C and 80 °C.
- The temperature knob should only be turned clockwise as far as it will go and then counterclockwise. Do not turn it too much, as this could damage it.
- When the drawer reaches the selected temperature, the heating element switches off.
- When the temperature is lower than the one selected, the heating element switches on again automatically.
The temperature scale on the knob is shown in symbols instead of ^ C . The symbols represent the most suitable temperature for the type of tableware represented:
For cups or glasses: approximately 40^ . Drinks poured into a hot cup or glass do not cool down as quickly; however, the cup or glass will not get so hot that you will not be able to pick it up.
For plates and dishes: approximately 60^ C . Food stays hotter for longer if it is served on preheated plates. The plates will not get so hot that you will not be able to pick them up.
Heating times
Several factors will influence warm-up times:
- the material and thickness of the tableware.
- the quantity.
- the way in which the tableware is laid out.
- temperature settings.
Therefore, it is not possible to determine exact times. Nevertheless, the following information may serve as a guide:
At the setting of plates and dishes (approx. 60^ ), to heat up evenly, a dish will take approximately 30 - 35 minutes for 6 services.
As you use the drawer, you will know which setting best suits your needs.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

- Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning and make sure that it is disconnected from the mains.
- All surfaces and controls should be cleaned with warm water and a little liquid soap applied with a soft sponge or cloth.
- Dry the surfaces with a soft cloth.
- To avoid the risk of scratches and damage to the surface of the warming drawer, pay particular attention to the following cleaning instructions.
- Aluminium surfaces and controls may become discoloured or damaged if dirt remains on them for a long period of time. Remove all traces of dirt immediately.
The front of the warming drawer is susceptible to scratches and abrasions. Avoid:
- cleaning products containing caustic soda, acids, or chlorides.
- abrasive cleaning products, e.g., powder and cream cleaners,
- abrasive sponges, e.g., scouring pads or sponges that have previously been used with an abrasive cleaning agent.
- cleaning agents for stainless steel.
- cleaning products with descaling agents.
-dishwasher soaps. - oven sprays.
- Stainless steel surfaces can be cleaned with a non-abrasive cleaning product specifically designed for use on stainless steel.
- Do not use cleaning products for stainless steel on the controls.
- The installation and repair of the electrical components of this appliance must only be carried out by a duly qualified and competent person, in accordance with local and national safety regulations. Repairs and other work by unqualified personnel may result in danger. The manufacturer accepts no liability for unauthorised work.
6. TROUBLESHOOTING

If none of these situations match your problem, do not attempt to disassemble, or repair the warming drawer yourself. The repair must be carried out by an authorised technician, and you must use only original spare parts.
Unauthorised self-maintenance or maintenance will affect the safe use of the product and the application of the warranty policy.
