BEZPEČNOSTNÍ POKYNY PŘI POUŽÍVÁNÍ
- Read carefully this manual before using the appliance.
- Do not immerse the appliance, its cord and plug in water or any other liquids!
-Close supervision is necessary when using the appliance near children! - Fill the container only with cold water.
-Do not use the appliance if it is damaged, also if the power cord or plug is damaged - return the appliance for repair to an authorized service centre. - To avoid the risk of damage, fire or injury, always use the attachments recommended by the manufacturer.
- Do not hang the power cord over sharp edges and do not allow the power cord to touch hot surfaces.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors.
- Before cleaning, pull out the plug from the outlet and allow the appliance to cool down completely.
- Never leave the plugged appliance unattended.
-Do not exceed the maximum filling capacity indicated on the appliance. - Do not switch on the appliance without water.
-Do not place the appliance in vicinity of electric and gas cookers, burners, ovens, etc. - Do not pour water into the container after switching on the appliance.
-Do not touch the heating plate when the appliance in on and immediately after finishing its operation - this may result in severe burn.
-Always unplug the appliance when it is not in use or before cleaning. - After finishing operation the appliance should be unplugged!
- Do not use the appliance for the purposes different than it was designed for.
- This coffee maker is designed for domestic use only.
-The appliance shall be plugged to an outlet with a protective earth pin.
-This equipment may be used by children of at least 8 years of age and by persons of diminished physical and mental capacity
and persons with inexperience and lack of familiarity with the equipment, if supervision or instruction is provided on how to use the equipment safely so that the associated risks are understood. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they are at least 8 years old and are supervised. Cleaning/maintenance must not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be carried out by children without supervision.
- Store the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years of age.
- Children must not play with the device.
- The temperature of surfaces may be higher when the appliance is in use.
- Use the appliance on a flat and stable surface.
- Do not pull the plug by holding the power cord.
- Do not connect the power plug with wet hands.
-In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
- The working appliance must not be placed in a cupboard.
-Caution: in order to maintain the efficiency of the appliance and to prevent food contamination, clean the appliance regularly, as indicated in the section “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE”.
-WARNING! Do not allow small children to play with the foil as there is a danger of suffocation!

BEFORE USE
Before first use open the lid and pour water into the container (2), close the lid and switch on the appliance. To clean the appliance allow the water to flow through. Repeat this 2-3 times switching it off for about 5 minutes after complete filtering.
USING THE APPLIANCE
- Open the upper lid (1) and pour necessary amount of water to the container (2), close the lid - the number of cups can be seen on the water level indicator. Scale on the water container allows to measure 2-10 big or 2-12 small cups.
- Open the filter holder (6) and put solid filter (5).
- Put the glass kettle with lid (7) on the heating plate (8). Make sure the kettle is properly positioned right below the coffee outlet and fill in ground coffee into the filter. One teaspoon (about 6–7 g) is enough to prepare a cup of medium coffee. Close the filter holder (6).
- Plug in the appliance.
- Switch on the appliance using the switch (4). Operation indicator lamp lights up and hot water starts flowing through the filter. When water stops flowing, the heating plate keeps coffee temperature in the kettle until the appliance is switched off. If the appliance is switched off manually, the auto-switch off function deactivates it in about 40 minutes.
- Taking the kettle off the heating plate automatically closes special valve, which blocks coffee dripping on the plate.
- Returning the kettle to the heating plate opens the valve and allows to filter through the remaining coffee.
NOTE! While brewing do not remove the kettle for more than 30 seconds - after this time filter may overflow.
NOTE! Do not use the appliance with an empty container!
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Regularly remove residues from the appliance to considerably prolong its life and proper operation.
- To descale the appliance use only special agents meant for this purpose.
- Switch off the appliance and unplug it. Wipe all the the external surfaces using damp cloth. Coffee kettle can be washed in dishwasher.
NOTE! Using scouring sponges or dishcloths may damage the surface.
