Frying basket

It serves as a base for foods to be fried.

Always slide the frying basket into the upper shelf.

Pure geometric shape with diagonal lines inside a rounded square (no text or symbols)

Grille

Ideal for baguettes and bread rolls, as a base for cast iron plate, pizza stone and cake tin.

Slide the grille with the bracket first and then place the bracket on top.

Cast iron plate (with non-stick coating)

It is suitable for baking pizzas, bagels or toasts (smooth side), for grilling steaks (ribbed side), etc.

Pizza stone

It serves for preparing fresh pizza.

Simple geometric shape: a diamond outline with rounded corners, no text or symbols present.

Crumb tray

It is intended for collecting crumbs.

Place the crumb tray with curvature to the front.

Unpacking

▶ Remove all parts from the packaging.
Remove all packaging material, protective film and stickers.
! Never remove the rating labels; they must always remain on the appliance.
▶ Check the scope of delivery for completeness and damage.

Cleaning

▶ Clean all accessories as specified in Chapter 8 Cleaning.

Installation

Place the appliance on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
▶ Do not cover the appliance or place anything on it.
▶ Operate the appliance in a well-ventilated place.

▶ The appliance must only be connected to a properly installed earthed socket.

First use

Caution!

Risk of injury from slight build-up of smoke. Inhaling smoke can cause damage to your health.

▶ Open the windows or doors.

▶ Put the crumb tray and accessories (without the pizza stone) into the appliance.

▶ Plug the appliance into the socket.

The control panel indicators light up.

▶ Turn the control knob and select the "AIR FRY" program.
▶ Press the control knob again to start the program.
▶ Let the program run through to the end.
▶ Allow the appliance to cool down.

7 Operation

Preparing

▶ Set up the appliance in a suitable place, see page 25 installation.

Caution!

Damage to the appliance due to soiling. Damage to the base due to lack of heat protection at the bottom.

▶ Never use the appliance without the crumb tray in place.

▶ Insert the crumb tray.
▶ Plug the appliance into the socket.

The control panel indicators light up.

Classic programs

▶ Place the accessory with food in the cooking chamber.
▶ Turn the control knob.

The programs light up.

▶ Turn the control knob until the desired program flashes.
▶ Confirm your selection with the control knob.

The program starts.

When using the pizza stone: Preheat the stone for 15 minutes in the "AIR FRY" program.

Then, bake the pizza in the "Frozen pizza" program.

Time and temperature can be adjusted during cooking.

Press; the temperature indicator flashes. Adjust the temperature with the control knob.

Press the control knob to confirm.

Press the time indicator flashes. Adjust the time with the control knob. Press the control knob to confirm.

The appliance beeps at the end of the program.

High-temperature programs

These programs work in 2 stages:

Caution!

There is a risk of injury due to smoke development. High cooking temperatures can exceed the smoke point of food, resulting in heavy smoke development.

Inhaling smoke can cause damage to your health.

▶ Do not grease or oil accessories.

Place the selected accessory in the cooking chamber.
! Do not put food into the cooking chamber during preheating.

▶ Press the desired program once or twice on the display.

The selected program flashes.

The high-temperature programs have a fixed temperature. The time can be changed. The time display in the pizza programs alternates between 07:30 and 7' (diameter of the pizza in inches). If you increase the time, the diameter value increases automatically.

Examples of pizza diameters: 7' = 18 cm , 10' = 25 cm , 12' = 30 cm

The time display in the Beef / Grill program alternates between the degree display and 50 (cooking level).

Examples of cooking levels: 30 = Rare, 50 = Medium Rare, 70 = Medium, >70 = Well Done If you increase the time, the cooking level increases automatically.

The appliance will beep after about 1 minute. After the beeps, turn the food for an optimal cooking result.

▶ Press the control knob to confirm the selection.

Preheating starts automatically.

When preheating is complete, the appliance emits short beeps, and the display shows "FILL in/Open". The preheat icon goes out.

Failure to start a program within 30 minutes of preheating automatically restarts preheating in order to keep the temperature high.

▶ Open the door and pull the accessory out with the oven glove.
▶ Place the food on the accessory.
▶ Push the accessory with food back into the cooking chamber.
▶ Close the door.

Closing the door automatically starts the selected program and the countdown timer.

The timer will pause if you open the door while the program is running. The display shows PAUSE.

The program resumes once the door is closed again.

You can adjust the time during the program. To do so, press and adjust the time with the control knob. The appliance beeps at the end of the program. The display shows "END".

After the end of the program

Caution!

Risk of injury from burns.

▶ Only remove the accessories and hot containers using the oven glove.

▶ Open the door. Remove the food and accessories from the oven with the oven glove.
- Place the baking tray, other accessories or hot containers on a heat-resistant surface. - Close the oven door.

When the food is cooked, the appliance cools down (you will hear the fan making noise).

Do not pull out the power plug until the fan stops making noise.

8 Cleaning

The frying basket, grille and cast iron plate are dishwasher safe; all other parts of the appliance are not!

1. Always pull out the power plug before attempting any cleaning. Allow the appliance and accessories to cool down.
2. Clean the appliance and accessories after each use.

Caution!

Risk of injury from electric shock and damage to the appliance.

Damage to the pizza stone.

Do not immerse the appliance or pizza stone in water.
▶ Do not clean the pizza stone with detergents.
▶ Do not clean the pizza stone in a dishwasher.

1. Remove the crumb tray for cleaning. Remove crumbs. Remove large amounts of fat with a paper towel. Use mild rinse water for cleaning.

2. Use a wooden scraper to remove any food residues from the pizza stone. Any discolouration is normal and cannot be avoided. Rinse the pizza stone with water if necessary.
   ! The stone must be completely dry before next use.

3. Clean the remaining accessories with mild rinse water.
   ! Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or oven spray.

4. Clean the housing inside and outside with a slightly damp cloth.
5. Dry all parts and store them in a clean, dry place.

9 Recommendations

• The time and temperature values of the preset programs are reference values. Adjust the time and temperature depending on the food or how browned you want it to be. When using the high-temperature programs, you can only change the time.
  • Always check the food in the oven during cooking to avoid over-browning.
• Always preheat the pizza stone (Auto Preheat for 15 minutes). The cast iron plate requires no preheating.
• When making chips from fresh potatoes, soak the potato slices in cold water for at least 30 minutes before cooking. The water helps rinse off a little starch, resulting in a crispier chip.

Question / Possible cause Solution problem

The appliance is not responding.	No power. Connect the appliance to the power supply. Check the mains outlet used.
Smoke builds up in the cooking chamber during preheating.	The heating elements are factory-treated with a care product that evaporates during initial preheating.	If smoke develops only during initial preheating, this is absolutely normal.The care product that evaporates is non-toxic and harmless. Nevertheless, ensure adequate ventilation during initial heating and clean the inside of the appliance after preheating.
Some foods burn, others are undercooked.	Food is not in the middle of the cooking chamber.	Place food centrally in the cooking chamber.
	Time and/or temperature not correctly selected.	Select the optimal time and temperature for each preparation.

11 Disposal

Appliances marked with this symbol must be disposed of separately from household waste. These appliances contain valuable raw materials that can be recycled. Proper disposal of these items protects the environment and public health. Your local authority or retailer can provide detailed information on proper disposal.
