How to assemble the AC 6001 Flex tripod?

Unpack the item and check that it is not damaged. Assemble the tripod by sliding the cable into the tubes, then attach the connecting plate and base with the provided screws. Use the SW10/13 wrench for a maximum torque of 8 Nm.

Which speakers are compatible?

This tripod is designed for Teufel EFFEKT and CS 25 FCR Mk3 speakers. Other compatible speakers may be used, but the maximum load must not exceed 1.2 kg.

How to adjust the height?

Loosen the clamping screw by turning it, hold the extension tube with one hand, then adjust the desired height among the 8 positions (50 mm step). Tighten the clamping screw firmly by hand, ensuring it engages into a hole of the tube.

What is the maximum load capacity?

The maximum load capacity is 1.2 kg. Never exceed this limit to avoid any risk of tipping or damage.

How to clean the tripod?

Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the surfaces. Do not use cleaning products containing chlorine or abrasives, as they may damage the coating.

What if the base does not assemble with the base tube?

Check the mounting safety: the base tube and the connecting plate have different spacer lengths. Make sure to align them correctly (the components assemble easily in the correct position).

How to attach the speaker to the tripod?

Insert the clamping bolt into the hole of the extension tube, screw on the nut without tightening. Hang the speaker by its keyhole-shaped opening onto the bolt, then tighten the nut by hand. Use the appropriate hole (1 for EFFEKT, 2 for CS 25 FCR Mk3).

The tripod wobbles, what to do?

Check the support surface: it must be flat and solid. Check the tightness of the screws between the base and the base tube, and retighten if necessary. Ensure the speaker is securely attached.

The speaker stand is suitable to hold Teufel EFFEKT and CS 25 FCR Mk3 speakers. This stand can hold the speaker securely, so it can be placed anywhere within the space. The height is adjustable in eight positions, in 50 mm increments from 795 to 1,195 mm.

Foreseeable misapplication

The clamping and adjustment screws must not be opened during use.

General

The speaker stand must be placed on an even surface that can hold the weight involved.
The speaker must be securely screwed in place on the stand.
▶ When adjusting the height or opening the clamping screw, the extension tube must be secured or held with one hand.
▶ When the stand is placed or moved with the speaker attached, extra care should be taken to avoid unexpectedly bumping the speaker or stand.
The clamping screw of the height adjustment must enter a hole in the extension tube.
▶ Personal injury and/or property damage may occur if the speaker stand falls over.
The user must be physically fit and technically competent.
The usage information is an integral part of the product and should be kept for its service life or passed on to any subsequent owner or user.

No warranty is given for damage caused by:

1.) Unpack and check product for damage and completeness

2.) Assemble the stand with the corded speaker

1 Push the cord through the extension tube, base tube and base from the top.

2 Push the connecting plate into the opening. The plate must sit flush with the base tube when in place.

NOTE: The connecting plate and the base tube have different crosspiece lengths to ensure that the parts are assembled in the correct position. Pay attention to the crosspiece lengths. The components are easy to connect when positioned correctly.

3 Insert the base tube into the base and screw the two hexagon bolts into place

so they are hand-tight. The tightening torque must not exceed 8 Nm maximum.

3.) Attach the speaker to the stand

Insert the clamping bolt from the front through the opening in the extension tube and loosely screw into place with the clamping nut. Hang the speaker from the clamping bolt using the key-hole opening on the speaker. Make sure the bolt is fully inserted into the key-hole opening. Tighten the clamping nut so that it is hand-tight.

NOTE: EFFEKT speaker: opening 1

!Because of the adjustment possibility, there is a risk of crushing between the components!

4.) Adjustment of the height

√ The stand is properly set up.
√ The stand and speaker are firmly screwed together.
√ The stand is set up on a level and load-bearing surface.

NOTE: The extension tube must be held when opening the clamping screw.

Open the clamping screw using the washer provided or a suitable tool 1, and set the desired height 2. Once again, tighten the clamping screw until it is hand-tight 3. Make sure that the clamping screw is inserted in the hole provided for this purpose on the extension tube.

Maintenance, cleaning and repair

▶ Maintenance: Regularly check if the screw connections are tight.
▶ Cleaning: Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the speaker stand. Do not use chlorinated or abrasive cleaning agents. These will cause damage to the surface and varnish.
▶ Repair: Immediately repair any damage that occurs and stop using the speaker stand. Maintenance work may only be carried out if you have the necessary knowledge. If any parts are missing, contact the manufacturer at www.k-m.de.

Fault and troubleshooting

Storage, disposal

Store the speaker stand in a dry place.

▶ Sort all other components according to material composition and dispose of them according to local regulations.
