INTRODUCTION

Thank you for choosing the "Stim Fit" electrostimulation system by LANAFORM®. With two stimulation channels and 4 adhesive electrodes, the "Stim Fit" electrostimulation device offers a range of massage modes for toning and stimulating the different muscles of the body.

The operating principle of electrostimulation devices is based on the imitation of the body's pulses transmitted by the skin to the nerve fibres surrounding the muscles via electrodes. These are placed in various locations on the body for a complete workout. Their electrical stimuli are safe and painless. The effectiveness of electrostimulation can be seen after just a few uses and perfectly complements any physical activity.

PLEASE READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR DEVICE, ESPECIALLY THIS BASIC SAFETY INFORMATION:

• Only use this device by following the instructions for use described in this manual.
• This device is not intended for use by people (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or people with lack of experience or knowledge, unless someone responsible for their safety can supervise or instruct them beforehand on how to use the device. Children should be supervised to make sure they do not play with the device.
• Do not use accessories that are not recommended by LANAFORM® or that are not supplied with this device.
• Do not use this device if it is not working properly, has been dropped on the floor or if it is damaged or has been dropped into water. Have the device examined and repaired by the supplier or its after-sales department.
• Do not dismantle, repair or modify the device yourself. You might damage the device or cause an accident in the home.
• Do not use this device as a substitute for medical treatment. It is intended only for family use.
• Do not use the device on children or people who are unable to express themselves.
• Do not use the device when driving. You may have an accident due to the stimulation it produces.
• Do not use the device when taking a shower or when in an environment where the humidity is very high, as in a bathroom.
• When in use, do not allow any metal object to come into contact with the electrode. You might sense a powerful stimulation.
• Cosmetic gels can be used to enhance the work done by the electrodes. Only use products that are compatible with electrostimulation. Refer to the instructions for use provided with your gel.
• Do not use the device when you are about to go to sleep. This may cause the unit to malfunction. The electrode may also move to inappropriate locations and then cause discomfort.
• Do not use this device within 1 hour before or after meals or being going to sleep. The stimulating effect of the massage might disrupt digestion or hinder sleep.
• Never use this device in a room where aerosol products (sprays) are used or in a room where oxygen is being administered.

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN RELATING TO YOUR HEALTH

- You must consult your doctor before using the device in the following cases:

- If you have an acute illness;

- If you have a malign tumour;

- If you have an infectious disease;

- If you are pregnant or lactating;

- If you have heart disease;

- If you have a high fever;

- If you have unusually high blood pressure;

- If you have sensitive or abnormal skin;

- If you are or have been a patient undergoing treatment following an accident or you experience abnormal sensitivity.

- If you have recently been injured or undergone surgery.

- Do not use this product with the following electronic medical devices:

- Electronic medical device for internal transplantation, such as a pacemaker.

- Life-saving electronic medical device, such as an artificial heart, artificial lung, etc.

- Portable electronic medical device such as an electrocardiagraph, which might cause a wrong movement.

- If your body or skin reacts abnormally, if you notice your skin reddening or becoming irritated, stop using the device immediately and consult your doctor and follow his or her instructions.

- If you experience any pain when using this device, stop using it immediately and consult your doctor.

- Never use this device on a body part that is swollen or inflamed or if you have a skin rash.

- Do not used the electrode on a wound or any injury or lesion on the body as this could cause infection or aggravate the lesions.

- Do not use the device close to the heart, at the nape of the neck, on your head, mouth or genital area, or close to areas affected by skin disease etc.

- If you are concerned about your health, consult a doctor before using this appliance.

Use :

1) Preparation prior to use

The Stim Fit is battery-operated. Before using your device, check that it is charged. The battery charge indicator must be full (diagram 2, point 4).

You should also check that your skin is clean and dry.

Before switching on your device, place the electrodes where you want them to be on your body (see paragraph below).

Fix the cables to the electrodes, then connect them to the stimulator..

When using the Stim Fit and when you apply the electrodes, the use of two electrodes for each group of muscles is recommended. For assistance, see diagram below.

We do not recommend using two electrodes on opposite sides of the body (for example: the electrode of the first cable on your left arm and the electrode of the second cable on your right arm).

For optimum, safe use, we recommend dividing and connecting the electrodes as shown on the diagram below.

Please note: Never apply the electrodes to the head. Never move the electrodes when the device is running. Put the device on pause, then simply remove the electrodes and put them in a different place, otherwise, some impact might be felt.

3) Operation

• Once the electrodes are in position on the muscles which you want to work (see diagram 3), switch on your device with the ON/OFF button (diagram 1, point 2).

• The device is running and tapping set as the default mode (diagram 2, point 2a). It is set to the lowest intensity and programmed to run for 20 minutes.

• To change mode, press button M several times until the massage mode you want appears (see diagram 1, point 5).

• To increase the intensity, use buttons + and - to adjust it (see diagram 1, point 6 and diagram 2, point 3)
• Finally, to adjust the time, press button T (diagram 1, point 8) and diagram 2, point 1) and choose a time between 10 and 60 minutes.

- Notes:

• You can stop the treatment at any time by pressing the pause button. You can also change the massage mode by pressing button M again.
  • We recommend starting at a low intensity the first time you use the device, then gradually increasing it. Once you are used to the stimulation, you can use more powerful intensities of stimulation, but always within the limit of what you are able to tolerate and without injuring yourself, so as to stimulate as many fibres as possible.
• Treatment time: The length of use in one position is generally 20 minutes per session and once or twice a day. The time can also be extended or reduced depending on the user's needs. The device will stop automatically when the time set has expired. If you want to continue with the treatment, switch off the device for a few seconds, then switch it on again.
• The screen can be blocked during treatment. To do this, press the central button for 3 seconds. Press again for 3 seconds to unblock the screen.

4) Charging

You can charge your device using the USB cable or the mains power supply. To do this, just insert the USB cable in the port provided for this purpose (diagram 1, points 12 and 13). The device is recharged when the battery charge indicator is full (diagram 2, point 4).

Note: Recharge your device at least once every three months if it is not used regularly.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

Cleaning:

1. Cleaning the main unit: Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth.
2. Cleaning the electrodes: in order to keep your electrodes clean for longer, apply a few drops of water before and after use. Re-attach the electrodes to the plastic holder (diagram 1, point 9) and wind the cables around the groove on the holder.

Storage:

Keep out of reach of children.

Do not store the main unit anywhere that is exposed to high temperatures, high humidity or direct sunlight. Put it back into its box after use and store in a dry place.

PRODUCT BREAKDOWNS AND SOLUTIONS

Breakdowns Check Solutions
One electrode seems more powerful than the other.	This is completely normal. The body reacts differently depending on the areas being treated.	Make sure that the electrodes are in the correct position and that they do not overlap.
During the massage, you experience a burning sensation or stimulation becomes too weak.	The electrode gel is not sticking to the skin properly.	Apply a few drops of water to the pad. If the problem persists, you should replace the electrodes.
The device won’t turn on anymore. The battery is too low. Recharge your device.
The skin is reddening, causing itching or tingling in the area being treated.	Check that your skin is not allergic to the adhesive patch.	Check your skin’s allergy history. If the allergy is moderate, all you have to do is change the position of the adhesive pad or shorten treatment. If the allergy is severe, stop using the device and consult your doctor.
Even after increasing the intensity, stimulation is still too weak or the user cannot feel anything.	Is your skin not clean enough? Use the device again after cleansing the skin with a damp cloth.
	Are the electrodes in the correct position? Change their position.

ADVICE REGARDING THE DISPOSAL OF WASTE

• All the packaging is composed of materials that pose no hazard for the environment and which can be disposed of at your local sorting centre to be used as secondary raw materials. The cardboard may be disposed of in a paper recycling bin. The packaging film must be taken to your local sorting and recycling centre.
• When you have finished using the device, please dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way and in accordance with the law.

LIMITED WARRANTY

LANAFORM® guarantees this product against any material or manufacturing defect for a period of two years from the date of purchase, except in the circumstances described below.

The LANAFORM® guarantee does not cover damage caused as a result of normal wear to this product. In addition, the guarantee covering this LANAFORM® product does not cover damage caused by abusive or inappropriate or incorrect use, accidents, the use of unauthorized accessories, changes made to the product or any other circumstance, of whatever sort, that is outside LANAFORM®'s control.

LANAFORM® may not be held liable for any type of circumstantial, indirect or specific damage.

All implicit guarantees relating to the suitability of the product are limited to a period of two years from the initial date of purchase as long as a copy of the proof of purchase can be supplied.

On receipt, LANAFORM ^® will repair or replace your appliance at its discretion and will return it to you. The guarantee is only valid through LANAFORM ^® 's Service Centre ^® . Any attempt to maintain this product by a person other than LANAFORM ^® 's Service Centre will render this guarantee void.
