The air intake filter is stuck or blocked: how do I remove it?
Frequently Asked Questions - 05/26/2026
Response Notice-Facile

If the air intake filter of your AEG LK 5689 does not come off easily, here’s how to proceed:

Before you begin

  • Turn off the device and then unplug the power cord. This step is essential for your safety.
  • Wait a few minutes for the device to cool down if you have just used it.

Removal technique

  • Simple procedure: The air intake filter (component 11) is designed to be removed easily. Gently and gradually pull it towards you. There are no screws or special clips holding it in place.
  • If there is resistance: If the filter resists, stop and check for any blocking elements around it. Make sure you are pulling in the direction of the incoming airflow (perpendicular to the screen).
  • No force: The filter should not require significant force. Abnormal resistance means you do not have the right grip or direction.

After removal

Once the filter is removed, gently clean it under a low-flow tap with cold water. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive brushes. Allow the filter to dry completely in the open air before putting it back in place. Also, ensure that the device is fully assembled before turning it back on.

{1,2,3,4} union {1,2,3,4} union {1,2,3,4}

  1. y = 1 .
  1. | x - 2| = 5/4 .

Therefore, 3^x - 2 = 0

a1 = 2, a2 = -4,
