PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

• This adapter must be used only in category II installations, with standardized 230V mains voltages.
• CAT II circuits are the power supply circuits of household appliances and similar devices.
• Do not remove.
• Do not use if the housing seems damaged.
  • Always disconnect from the mains receptacle after use.
• This adapter complies with European regulations for use on 230V installations in CAT II Pollution 2 or higher.

PRESENTATION

The C.A 753 is an adapter that provides information on the position of the phase and on the presence of the P-N voltage for TT and TN installations. It is not a tester capable of validating the electrical conformity of the wiring of a 2P+E receptacle.

The C.A 753 is an adapter for 2P+E receptacles on 230V mains, used to provide dependable high-quality contacts for the probe tips of testers or multimeters.

The C.A 753 is compatible with the female receptacles of EC (NF) standardized 16A, 2P+E, 230V connectors of types E and F (Schuko®). It is reversible to ensure the visibility of the indicators in all circumstances

DIAGNOSTIC OF THE WIRING OF POWER OUTLETS

• Insert the adapter into the power outlet to be tested.
• The C.A 753 has three indicators to indicate the condition of the power outlet and the position of the phase.

If the outlet is correctly wired, the central neon and one of the two side neons light.

The side neon indicates the position of the phase.

MAINTENANCE

For maintenance, use only the specified spare parts. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any accident that occurs following a repair not done by its customer service department or by an approved repairer.

CLEANING

• Disconnect the adapter from any source of electricity.
• Clean the housing with a cloth moistened with soapy water.
• Dry perfectly before putting back into use.
