Please read all instructions and warnings carefully. Failure to follow instructions and warnings may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Please keep these instructions and warnings in a safe place. The term "device" refers to electrically operated devices, either mains-operated (with power cable) or battery-operated (without power cable).

The device must not be operated in explosive areas, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. The device can cause sparks that can cause the dust or vapors to explode. When working with the device, other people, especially children, must always maintain a safe distance. If distracted by others, you may lose control of the device.

71. Electrical Safety

The mains voltage must always correspond to the corresponding voltage information on the rating plate of the device. The mains plug of the device must fit into the socket. The plug must not be modified in any way. Do not use adapter plugs with earthed electrical devices. Unmodified plugs and matching sockets reduce the risk of electric shock. Keep the device away from rain or moisture. Water entering the device increases the risk of electric shock. Do not misuse the cord to carry the appliance, hang it up, or unplug it from the outlet. Always keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges, or moving parts. Damaged or tangled cords increase the risk of electric shock. If you (have to) work with the device outdoors, use only extension cords that are suitable for outdoor use. Using an extension cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock. If operating the device in a damp environment is unavoidable, always use a residual current device. The use of a residual current device reduces the risk of electric shock.Manual_K-416_Int24_rev5
