5 - DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY 12WIRELESS WEATHER STATION
A - SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1 - OPERATING PRECAUTIONS
- The weather station must not be installed where the screen may be vulnerable to scratching and dirt.
- The weather station is not designed for outside use and should not be installed in locations that are subject to extremes of humidity or temperature.
- Do not expose the sensor to direct sunlight or any reected light source.
- Do not daisy-chain extension cords and/or multi-socket adapters.
- Do not install near acidic chemicals, ammonia or sources of toxic gases.
2 - MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
- Always unplug the product from the mains before carrying out any maintenance.
- Never use abrasive or corrosive substances to clean the products.
- Use a soft, slightly damp cloth.
- Never use an aerosol to spray the product as this may damage the internal workings.
This logo indicates that electrical and electronic waste must not be disposed of with household waste. They are likely to contain hazardous substances which are dangerous to both health and the environment. Return the equipment to your local distributor or use the recycling collection service provided by your local council. It is forbidden to throw used batteries into the dustbin. Batteries/accumulators containing harmful substances are marked with symbols (shown opposite) which indicate that they cannot be thrown away as ordinary waste. The corresponding heavy metals are referred to as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. You can dispose of these batteries/accumulators at local recycling amenities (centres for sorting recyclable materials) which are required to accept them. Keep batteries/ button cells/accumulators out of reach of children and store them in a safe place not accessible to them. as they could be swallowed by children or pets. May be fatal if swallowed! In the event that a battery is swallowed, consult a doctor or go to A&E immediately. Never short-circuit the batteries, and do not burn or recharge them. They may explode! These steps must be followed in order. Insert 2 AAA LR06 batteries (not supplied) into the station 30. Then insert the 2 AAA LR03 batteries (not supplied) into the outdoor sensor, ensuring that the polarity is respected 32. Information: the use of batteries and the mains transformer for the station is preferable: in the event of a power failure or if the mains transformer is unplugged, the weather station will keep its con guration.
PAIRING THE SENSOR TO THE STATION
Pairing is automatic once the batteries are inserted. To force pairing, if required: - On the station, press and hold the DOWN button for 5 seconds. The indicator (4) starts to ash - On the outdoor sensor, remove then reinsert the batteries, positioning yourself near the weather station.
TIME AND DATE SETTING
- Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds. 24h or 12h ashes. Set the time display format using the UP and DOWN buttons. - Press the SET button to con rm. The two gures: 00 ash. Set the time zone using the UP and DOWN buttons. - Press the SET button to con rm then set the hour using the UP and DOWN buttons. - Press the SET button to con rm then set the minutes using the UP and DOWN buttons. - Press the SET button to con rm. The letters M and D ash on the lower right side of the screen. Set the display order using the UP and DOWN buttons (month/day or day/month) - Press the SET button to con rm. Set the year using the UP and DOWN buttons. - Press the SET button to con rm. The gure to the left of M ashes on the lower right side of the screen. Set the month using the UP and DOWN buttons. - Press the SET button to con rm. The gure to the left of D ashes on the lower right side of the screen. Set the day using the UP and DOWN buttons. - Press the SET button to con rm. The two letters (27) ash. Set the language of the calendar sing the UP and DOWN buttons (GE = German / EN = English / FR= French / IT Italian / Sp = Spanish / DU = Netherlands / DA = Danish) - Press the SET button again to con rm the settings. Information: Pressing brie y on the SET button enables you to scroll through 3 display options. Date display, seconds display and hour display for the alarm. ALARM SETTING - Press and hold the ALARM button for 3 seconds: The hour of the alarm ashesSet the hour of the alarm using the UP and DOWN buttons. - Press the ALARM button to con rm. The minutes ash. Set the minutes of the alarm using the UP and DOWN buttons. - Finish the con guration by pressing quickly on the ALARM button When the alarm goes off, pressing the SNOOZE/LIGHT button pauses the alarm and postpones it for 5 minutes. When the alarm goes off, pressing the ALARM button stops the alarm tone. - To set the alarm, press once on the ALARM button. A bell (19) appears between the hour and the minutes. - To turn off the alarm, press once on the ALARM button. The bell (19) disappears. Information: The tone lasts for approximately 1 minute.
AUTOMATIC TIME SETTING
To launch the automatic time setting for the station, press the UP button once. The LED (10) ashes (the backlight is switched off temporarily). The station switches to radio reception (for 7 minutes) and attempts to pick up the DCF77 time signal to automatically update the time and date. Information: the time zone must be set correctly for a correct display. If reception is insuf cient, please set the station near a window. Ensure that you leave a gap of 2.5 m between the station and any source of interference (television, WiFi, microwaves, etc.) The signal search can be cut off at any point by pressing the UP button, if the signal is not available.WIRELESS WEATHER STATION
FORECAST The weather station is equipped with an atmospheric pressure sensor to display this value and its progression: - This value can be expressed in hPa or in inHg. To change the unit of measure, press and hold for 3 seconds on the HPA/INGH button, until the unit ashes. Press DOWN or UP to change it. Following the progression of the atmospheric pressure: 3 statuses are possible: Raising: Steady: Falling: The weather station also has a weather forecast function: It can display 6 different statuses: Sun Rainy Light clouds Heavy rain Stormy Cloudy Snowy It is possible to adjust this forecast depending on the current weather: - Press and hold the HPA/INHG button for 3 seconds, until the hPa mb or inHG unit ashes press the HPA/INHG button again. - Once the forecast logo ashes, using the UP and DOWN buttons, you can scroll through the forecasts, and set the weather station to the actual weather where you are. - Press the HPA/ INHG button again to con rm this setting.
TEMPERATURE AND HYGROMETRY
This weather station allows you to simultaneously display the indoor and outdoor temperature as well as the indoor and outdoor humidity. The weather station also displays the progression of these values: 3 statuses are possible: Raising: Steady: Falling: A comfort indication is symbolised by smiley displays (13), depending on the indoor readings. SETTING THE MEASUREMENT UNIT/MIN-MAX
MEMORY/SENSOR - Press the Up button to alternate between Celsius and Fahrenheit - Press the MEMORY button to con rm. Scroll through the Max/Min/Current value - Press and hold MEMORY for 3 seconds to erase the MIN/MAX values saved. Information: this weather station can display up to 3 channels for outdoor sensors. It will only use channel no. 1 (3). You can scroll through the different channels by pressing the DOWN button brie y to display your outdoor sensor.
TEMPERATURE ALERT SETTING
- To activate the outdoor temperature alert function, press the ALERT button once. The LED is displayed for you to con rm the alert. - To deactivate the ALERT function, pressWIRELESS WEATHER STATION
the ALERT button once. The LED disappears - To set the top and bottom value for alerts, press and hold the ALERT button for 3 seconds. The Hi press and hold the LED ashes. Using the UP and DOWN button, set the max temperature that will trigger the alert. Con rm this setting by pressing once on the ALERT button. The Lo LED then ashes. Using the UP and DOWN buttons, you can set the low temperature that will trigger the temperature alert. To nish, press once more on the ALERT button. BACKLIGHT SETTING - If operated from a battery supply, the backlight is switched off by default. You can switch it on by pressing the SNOOZE/LIGHT button. The weather station will be backlit for 5 seconds. - If operated from the mains supply, the backlight is switched on by default, without a time limit. You can adjust the brightness or switch it off completely by pressing brie y and repeatedly on the HPA/INHG button. MOON PHASE The moon phase is calculated and displayed automatically according to the date and year. It is therefore essential that the date and year are correct. The battery life is one to two years under normal operation. Use 2 alkaline LR06 AA batteries for the station and 2 alkaline LR03 AAA batteries for the outdoor sensor, ensuring that the indicated polarity is respected.
- This product is under warranty for parts and labour for 2 years from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase must be retained for the duration of the warranty period.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by negligence, knocks or accidents.

- If you encounter operating problems during the installation or a few days afterwards, it is essential that you are in front of your installation when contacting us, so that one of our technicians can diagnose the source of the problem, as it will probably be the result of a setting that is incorrect or an installation that is not to specication. If the problem is caused by the product itself, the technician will give you an RMA number so that you can return the unit to the shop.
