How to pair the outdoor sensor with the station?
After inserting batteries in both devices, pairing is automatic. If necessary, press and hold the DOWN button on the station for 5 seconds until the indicator flashes, then remove and reinsert the sensor batteries near the station.
How to set the time manually?
Press and hold the MODE button until the year flashes, then use the UP/DOWN buttons to set the year, month, day, display order, language, time zone, 12/24h format, hours and minutes. Confirm each step with MODE.
How to set the alarm?
Press ALARM for 3 seconds. The hour flashes: set with UP/DOWN, confirm with ALARM. Set the minutes, then the snooze duration (Zz). Press Light/SNZ during the alarm to activate snooze; ALARM stops the alarm.
Why does my station not display the correct time automatically?
Make sure the time zone is set correctly. Press WAVE to start DCF77 signal search. Place the station near a window and keep it at least 2.5 m away from interference sources (TV, router, microwave). The search takes 7 minutes.
How to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit?
Briefly press the DOWN button to toggle between °C and °F.
How to clear the stored MIN/MAX values?
Press and hold the DOWN button for 3 seconds to clear the recorded minimum and maximum values.
Which batteries to use and how long do they last?
Use 2 LR03 AAA alkaline batteries for the station and 2 LR03 AAA alkaline batteries for the sensor. Under normal use, battery life is about 1 to 2 years. Observe the indicated polarity.
How to clean the weather station?
Unplug the station before cleaning. Use a soft slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive, corrosive products or aerosols.
What to do if the sensor stops transmitting?
Check the sensor batteries and replace them if necessary. Ensure the distance between the sensor and station does not exceed 60 m in open field. Move the sensor closer and restart pairing (see question 1). Avoid metal obstacles.

The corresponding heavy metals are referred to as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. You can dispose of these batteries/accumulators at local recycling amenities (centres for sorting recyclable materials) which are required to accept them. Keep batteries/button cells/accumulators out of reach of children and store them in a safe place not accessible to them. as they could be swallowed by children or pets. May be fatal if swallowed! In the event that a battery is swallowed, consult a doctor or go to A&E immediately. Never short-circuit the batteries, and do not burn or recharge them. They may explode!

C - CONFIGURATION

1 - QUICK START-UP

These steps must be followed in order.

Insert 2 AAA LR03 batteries (not supplied) into the station 19. Then insert the 2 AAA LR03 batteries (not supplied) into the outdoor sensor, ensuring that the polarity is respected 21.

PAIRING THE SENSOR TO THE STATION

Pairing is automatic once the batteries are inserted. To force pairing, if required:

  • On the station, press and hold the DOWN button for 5 seconds. The indicator starts to flash
  • On the outdoor sensor, remove then reinsert the batteries, positioning yourself near the weather station.

TIME AND DATE SETTING

  • Press and hold the MODE button until the year starts flashing. Using the UP and DOWN buttons, set the year.
  • Press the MODE button to confirm. The figure to the left of M fl ashes on the lower right side of the screen. Set the month using the UP and DOWN buttons
  • Press the MODE button to confirm. The figure to the left of D flashes on the lower right side of the screen. Set the Day using the UP and DOWN buttons
  • Press the MODE button to confirm. The letters M and D flash on the lower right side of the screen. Set the display order using the UP and DOWN buttons (month/day or day/month)
  • Press the MODE button to confirm. The two letters to the right of DAY flash. Set the calendar language using the UP and DOWN buttons (GE = German / EN = English / FR = French / IS Italian / Sp = Spanish / DU = Netherlands / DA = Danish)
  • Press the MODE button to confirm. The two figures under Time: 00 flash. Set the time zone using the UP and DOWN buttons.
  • Press the MODE button to confirm. 24h or 12h fl ashes. Set the display format for the hour using the UP and DOWN buttons
  • Press the MODE button to confirm then set the hour using the UP and DOWN buttons.
  • Press the MODE button to confirm then set the minutes using the UP and DOWN buttons.
  • Press the MODE button again to confirm the settings.

ALARM SETTING

- Press and hold the ALARM button for 3 seconds: The hour of the alarm fl ashes

Set the hour of the alarm using the UP and DOWN buttons

  • Press the ALARM button to confirm. The minutes flash. Set the minutes of the alarm using the UP and DOWN buttons
  • Press the ALARM button to confirm. Zz 05 fl ashes.

Set the duration of the alarm postponement in minutes using the UP and DOWN buttons

  • Finish the configuration by pressing quickly on the ALARM button
  • When the alarm goes off, pressing the Light/SNZ button pauses the alarm and postpones it to the pre-set time (Zz).
  • When the alarm goes off, pressing the ALARM button stops the alarm tone.

To set the alarm, press the ALARM button once. A bell 🔍 (9) appears between the hour and minutes To turn off the alarm, press the ALARM button once.

The bell 🔒 (9) disappears.

The tone lasts for approximately 1 minute.

AUTOMATIC TIME SETTING

To launch the automatic time setting for the station, press the WAVE button once. The LED (8) flashes. The station switches to radio reception (for 7 minutes) and attempts to pick up the DCF77 time signal to automatically update the time and date.

Note: the time zone must be set correctly for a correct display. If reception is insufficient, please set the station near a window.

Ensure that you leave a gap of 2.5 m between the station and any source of interference (television, router, microwaves, etc.)

The signal search can be cut off at any point by pressing the WAVE button, if the signal is not available.

SETTING THE MEASUREMENT UNIT/MIN-MAX MEMORY

  • Press the DOWN button to alternate between Celsius and Fahrenheit
  • Pressing and holding the DOWN button for 3 seconds erases the MIN/MAX values saved.

WEATHER FORECAST:

The weather station displays the weather using an integrated atmospheric pressure sensor. It can display 4 different statuses:

Information: The weather forecast that measures humidity and temperature may be distorted if the weather station is installed in an area that is either too hot or too cold, and the measured data is too high compared to the current surrounding data.

2 - REPLACING THE BATTERIES

The battery life is one to two years under normal operation. Use 2 alkaline LR06 AA batteries for the station and 2 alkaline LR03 AAA batteries for the outdoor sensor, ensuring that the indicated polarity is respected.

3 - WARRANTY

  • This product is under warranty for parts and labour for 2 years from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase must be retained for the duration of the warranty period.
  • The warranty does not cover damage caused by negligence, knocks or accidents.
    • to be opened or replaced by non-Avidsen employees.
  • The warranty will be void if the device is tampered with.
