Original operating instructions – Ash vacuum cleaner

1. General safety instructions
Please read through these usage instructions carefully and familiarize yourself with the controls and proper procedure for using this product. We are not liable for damage which occurs due to a failure to observe instructions and rules given in these usage instructions. Damage which occurs due to a failure to observe instructions and rules given in these usage instructions does not fall under the guarantee. Keep these usage instructions in good condition and enclose them when transferring ownership. With the contents of this manual unfamiliar people should not use this device. The device must not be used by children. The device may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and / or knowledge if they have been supervised or instructed in the safe use of the equipment and have understood the resulting hazards. Children are not allowed to play with the device. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Cleaning and maintenance work on the device should not be performed by children without supervision. Check the tool before use. Set up your device on a level surface. Before using the device must be properly assembled with all the parts. Only connect the unit if indicated on the nameplate with the mains voltage. Do not suck soot and flammable substances!
Use the ash vacuum cleaner never without for this device original filters. Clean the filter as described in section 6.3 of the operating instructions after each use.

If the unit is operating, be careful that the suction nozzle is not held on a sensitive part of the body, such as eyes, mouth or ears. Never leave the appliance in operation unattended. Use this device only in dry conditions; the device may not be used when wet or in a humid environment. Suck water or other liquids. No embers or flammable substances such as explosive, toxic or harmful substances absorb. Before you suck ash, you must make sure that the ash has cooled sufficiently long and contains no more embers. This product is designed for private use and not for industrial or commercial purposes or for continuous operation. It has been exclusively developed for vacuuming cold ashes from ovens, grills and fireplaces with wood or pellet combustion. The product is not suitable for oil-fired boilers and fire ovens and also no way for plaster or cement dust.
4. Scope of delivery
An ash vacuum cleaner, a plastic-coated metal hose, a metal nozzle, a filter, a coarse filter bag, an instruction manual. Check the delivery for completeness. Keep the packaging, if possible by the end of the warranty period. Please dispose of the packing materials in an environmental-friendly manner.
5. Electrical connection
The device has a power cord with plug. Power cord and plug may only be replaced by qualified personnel to avoid hazards. Do not carry the pump power cord, and do not use it to pull the plug out of the socket. Protect power plug and power cord from heat, oil and sharp edges
The mentioned values in the technical data must comply with the local power supply. The device may only be used in the power range, which is mentioned on the nameplate.
Subjecting the equipment before each use a visual inspection. This is especially true for the power cord and the plug. Pay attention to the soundness of all connections. Damaged appliances must not be used. In case of damage, the device must be checked by a qualified service.
6. Installation and use
Please also note the pictures are right at the beginning of this manual. The letters, which are mentioned in the following explanations in brackets refer to these pictures. 6.1. Installation Before you can take your ash vacuum cleaner into operation, you must configure it only a few simple steps. The procedure is described as follows: Do not place the device on a flat surface. Open the ash container (I) by remove the motor head (A). (Fig. 1) Take filter, suction hose and the metal nozzle of the container. Assemble push the filter (E) by pushing it with even pressure on the intake manifold of the engine head. Put the motor head (A) back on the metal tank (I) and close the ash vacuum cleaner. Make sure that the motor head is properly seated on the container. Fit the hose (C) to the suction port in the engine head by inserting one side of the hose into the hole (H) and lock by turning it slightly to the right. Now insert the metal nozzle (D) on the other end of the suction hose. Your ash vacuum is now ready! 9Translation of the Original Operating Instructions
Never suck hot ash! Temperature <40 ° C. At higher temperatures consists a fire hazard! Don’t suck soot and flammable substances! When sucking constantly check hose and suction on warming! When the suction hose for the ash becomes warm during use, turn off the power immediately and cool down. Never empty the container in a flammable container! Before and after sucking empty the vacuum cleaner and clean!
We recommend in any case not more than 2-3 kg of ash (wood or pellet) per cleaning absorb. Use your ash vacuum never to soak up plaster and / or cement dust!
Plug the power cord into a grounded power socket and make sure that the voltage matches the information on the device. Make sure that the switch on the engine cover (B) to "0" position. Turn off the machine using the switch (B) on the engine cover, a (position "I"). Vacuum the ash through the metal nozzle directly from the stove or fireplace from (with wood or pellet firing). Hold the metal nozzle in about 1 centimeter distance above the ash. After use, turn off the power and unplug the power cord. Once you have finished cleaning your furnace and / or fireplace, clean equipment and filters and empty the ash container in a non-flammable container. With a reduction in suction power, turn off the engine through the switch and clean the filter as described in Section 6.3 "Cleaning the filter" described. Then turn the power back on and check the suction power. The device is equipped with an additional blow-out function. To use this, connect the suction hose (C) to the connection for the blow-out function (F).
ATTENTION! Before cleaning or maintenance the connector must always be unplugged from the outlet.
6.3. Cleaning the filter You can clean the filter in different ways, and depending on the pollution degree. First, remove the motor head (A) from the ash container (I). Disassemble the filter (E). Tap the filter for surface cleaning gently against a hard object (such as a stone). This method allows the dirt can quickly remove and your ash vacuum is within seconds ready for use again. You can filter with the aid of compressed air. Get rid initially the filter from the worst of the dirt and blow him after carefully from the inside out. For particularly stubborn dirt, you can wash the filter with water. However absolutely make sure that you can dry the filter thoroughly before mounting it and be the sucker in operation.
After cleaning the filter, make sure it is still suitable for further use. If damaged or broken it must be replaced by an original filter.
The present device was manufactured and inspected according to the latest methods. The seller warrants for faultless material and workmanship in accordance with the legal regulations of the country in which the device was purchased. The warranty period begins with the day of the purchase and is subject to the provisions below: Within the period of warranty, all defects which are to be attributable to defective materials or manufacturing will be eliminated free of charge. Any complaints are to be reported immediately upon their detection. The warranty claim becomes void in the case of interventions undertaken by the purchaser or by third parties. Damage resulting from improper handling or operation, incorrect setting-up or storage, inappropriate connection or installation or Acts of God or other external influences are excluded from warranty. All parts were manufactured using maximum care and high-quality materials and are designed for a long lifecycle. It should be understood, however, that the wear and tear depends on the kind of use, the intensity of use and the internals of maintenance. Complying with the installation and maintenance information contained in the present operating instructions will therefore considerably contribute to a long lifecycle of these wearing parts. In case of complaints, we reserve the option of repairing or replacing the defective parts or replace the entire device. Replaced parts will pass into our property. Claims for liquidated damages are excluded unless they are caused by wilful acts or negligence on the side of the manufacturer. The warranty does not provide for any claims beyond those referred to above. The warranty claim has to be evidenced by the purchaser in the form of the submission of the sales receipt. The present warranty commitment is valid in the country in which the device was purchased. Please note:
1. Should your device fail to function properly, please verify first whether an operating error or another cause
is present which cannot be attributed to a defect of the device.
2. In case you have to take or send in your defective device for repair, please be sure to enclose the
following documents: Sales receipt (sales slip). A description of the occurring defect (a description as accurate as possible will expedite the repair work).
3. In case you have to take or send in your defective device for repair, please remove any attached parts
which do not belong to the original condition of the device. If any attached parts of this kind should be missing upon the return of the device, we shall not be liable for them.
