English Warning and safety precaution Read these instructions carefully before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future use.
- When using electrical appliances, basic precautions must always be followed to reduce the riskofre,electricalshock,andinjury.
- Makesurethevoltageofyourmainssupplymatchesthevoltagerequirementsspeciedinthe rating label of the appliance (220-240V).
- We recommend that the room where you intend to use the appliance is equipped with a working extractor fan or it is well ventilated.
- Use the device only for the purposes described in this instruction manual, any other use is not recommendedbythemanufacturerandcouldhaveadetrimentaleectonthelifespanofthe appliance and/or the safety of the user.
- This appliance is not intended to be used by persons with reduced physical sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision and/or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- The appliance is not intended to be used by children under the age of 8. It can be used by children aged 8 or over, as long as they are constantly supervised.
- Keep this product out of reach of children under 8 years old.
- The cleaning and maintenance of the appliance should not be carried out by children without supervision.
- Do not play with the appliance.
- Unplug the appliance from the mains supply before moving it, carrying out any cleaning or maintenance task or when not in use.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not twist, bend, strain or damage the power cord in any way. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not let it touch hot surfaces. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of table or countertop.
- Donotuseextensioncords,unlessadvisedbyaqualiedelectrician;usingthewrongtype could cause damages or injuries to the appliance or user.
- Do not use the appliance if its cord, plug or housing is damaged, nor after it malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any way.
- Theappliancemustnotbeusedinpotentiallydangerouslocations,suchasammable materials.
- Place the fryer on an even, heat-resistance surface. Do not place the fryer near heat sources, places with high humidity levels or combustible materials.6 English
- Do not attempt to disassemble the appliance.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- Do not touch the inside of the appliance while its operating.
- Temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating. Be careful not to get burned.
- Do not immerse the cord, plug or any non-removable part of the device in water or any other liquid. Do not expose the electrical connections to water.
- Always place the ingredients to be fried inside the basket to prevent them from coming into contact with the heating elements.
- Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
- Unplug from the electrical outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow it to cool down completely before attaching or removing parts and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended while connected to the mains supply.
- Do not lean over the device while in use.
- Be careful not to touch the surfaces of the fryer as they will become hot when in use.
- Cleaning and maintenance must be carried out according to this instruction manual to make suretheappliancefunctionsproperly.Turnoandunplugtheappliancebeforemovingit.
- Do not place the appliance against a wall or against any other appliance. Leave at least 10 cm of free space on the back and sides and 10 cm above the appliance.
- Do not place anything on top of the appliance.
- During operation hot-steam is released through the air outlet openings. Keep your hands and face at a safety distance from the steam and from the air-outlet openings. Hot-air may also come out when removing the basket from inside the device.
- Unplug the appliance immediately if you see black smoke coming out of the device. Wait until the smoke disappears to remove the basket from the device.
- We recommend using gloves when touching the basket and grill.
- Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
- This device is intended for household use only.
- Do not attempt to repair the device by yourself.
- Always unplug the device after using it.7 English Components
English Read before use Operation Carefully read the warning and safety precaution. Check the product for any visible damage. If any, contact japproducts as soon as possible. The oil-free fryer can prepare a wide variety of ingredients. The enclosed recipe booklet will help you to get to know the appliance. Note: When opening the basket during a program the fryer will pause itself. The fryer will resume automatically when placed back. Note:Fryerwillstartbeepingafter15secondswhennishingaprogram.
WARNING: This product gets hot while using. Only use the handle to open/close the basket.
1. Insert the plug in a suitable wall plug
2. Presstoturnonthefryer.Pressandholdtoturnothefryer.
3. Fryer starts by default in manual mode. Press to increase temperature or press
to decrease the temperature. Hold or to increase/decrease faster.
4. Press to increase time or press to decrease time.

7. Take the basket and grill out from the device carefully. Use the handle. (Fig. 1)
8. Place ingredients in the basket.
a. Note:DonotllthebasketbeyondtheMAXindicationmarkorexceedtheamount offoodstuindicatedinthechartfurtherinthismanualasthiscouldaectthequalityof the result. Make sure you check the preparation time and the temperature required for thedierentingredientsbeforeyoustartpreparingthemsimultaneously.Potatocubes and schnitzel for example can be prepared simultaneously because they require the same settings. In that case please note that the maximum amount for each of the ingredients is half the normal amount.
9. Place the basket back in the device carefully. Use the handle. (Fig. 2)
10. Start the required program/settings. Enjoy your meal.

E11 English Cooking Some ingredients may require sautéing during the frying process. To sauté the ingredients, pull the container out of the fryer by the handle and shake it. Then place it back in the device carefully.
1. When you hear an alarm beep it means that the preparation time has come to an end.
Pull the container out of the device.
2. Check if the ingredients are ready. If not, put the container back inside the device and set
the timer to a few more minutes.
3. To take the ingredients out of the container, place the device on a hot-resistant surface.
Depending on the kind of ingredients, steam may come out.
4. Empty the basket into a bowl or plate. Use tongs to remove big or fragile ingredients.
- Add extra minutes when the fryer is not yet warmed up at the correct temperature.
- Smaller ingredients usually require a slightly shorter preparation than larger ingredients.
- Sautéing ingredients halfway through the cooking process optimizes the result and prevents unevenly fried ingredients.
- Add some oil to fresh potatoes for a crispy result.
- Do not prepare extremely greasy ingredients such as sausages.
- Only use accessories from japproducts combined with this fryer to avoid any malfunction.
- Fryer can also be used to re-heat ingredients. To do so, set the temperature to 150°C for 10 minutes.13 English Cleaning and maintenance Technical specications
- Unplug the device from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
- Remove the basket to let the device cool down more quickly.
- Do not use metallic tools or abrasive products to clean the basket and grill. Use soft, dampened clean cloth to clean the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Do not immerse the device in water or other liquid.
- Do not use abrasive scouring pads, powders or cleaners.
- Use degreasing liquid to remove any remaining dirt.
- Ifanydirtremainsinsidethebasketandgrillllthebasketwithhotwatermixedwithwashing- up liquid and let the basket and grill dry for approximately 10 minutes.
- Clean inside parts of the device with hot water and a non-abrasive sponge.
- Clean the heating element with a soft cleaning brush to remove any food residue. Be careful not to damage the heating element. Fusionesco Aspire Product reference: F-AS. Consumers must contact their local authorities or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of old appliances and/or their batteries.14 English Support and waranty This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, proof of purchase is required. The product must be in perfect physical condition and has followed given guidelines. The warranty will not cover the following situations:
- The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten, exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault attributable to the customer.
- Theproducthasbeendisassembled,modied,orrepairedbypersons,notauthorised by japproducts.
- Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use.
