How to install the door/window contact?

Fix the transceiver and the magnetic element to the desired locations (door or window) with double-sided adhesive tape. Ensure the two triangular marks face each other and are less than 1 cm apart. For a metal door, use spacers.

What to do if the indicator light flashes every 3 seconds?

This means the battery is almost depleted. Replace the battery as soon as possible with an LR6 1.5 V battery.

What is the maximum transmission distance?

The transmission distance can reach 80 meters in open area without interference.

Which battery to use for the DWC102?

Use an LR6 (AA) 1.5 V battery. Remove the old battery and insert the new one respecting the polarity.

How to connect the contact to the control panel?

Activate the learning mode of the control panel. Separate the transceiver and the magnetic element by at least 2 cm. The panel emits a beep to confirm the connection.

What to do if the control panel emits two beeps during connection?

This means the contact has already been connected before. You do not need to repeat the learning.

Is the device suitable for metal doors?

Yes, but spacers should be used under the transceiver and the magnetic element to avoid interference. It is not suitable for rolling doors.

How to test the operation of the contact?

After installation, open the door or window to trigger the alarm. The indicator light flashes once and the control panel should signal the intrusion.

What does a single flash of the indicator light mean?

A single flash indicates that an intrusion has been detected. The contact has sent an alarm signal to the control panel.

Is the device waterproof?

No, the device is not designed to be exposed to water. Use it only indoors or in a dry place, away from moisture.

Introduction

The contact contains a transmitter and a magnet, which can be mounted on a door, window, or any object that can be opened or closed. When the transmitter and magnet are separated, the contact will send a signal to the control panel and the latter will trigger an alarm. The tamper switch ensures that sabotage attempting to disassemble the contact will trigger an alarm.

Installation

After confirming that the door/window contact works properly, the installation steps can be proceed as follow:

Secure the transmitter and magnet on the desired locations (like door or window which can be opened and closed) with double-sided tapes.

Note: If this product is installed on a metal door, place spacers under the transmitter and magnet. This product is not suitable for shutter doors, please purchase shutter door sensor for your use.

Connect the Door/Window Contact

Connecting the door/window contact is to build a wireless connection between the door/window contact and the control panel.

1. Make sure the triangle mark is close to each other and within the range of 1cm.
2. Control panel enters into the connecting state (For details, please refer to the relative user manual).
3. Separate the transmitter and magnet with the space more than 2 cm, the control panel beeps once, indicating successful connection.

Note: If the control panel beeps twice when the above operation is done, it means the contact has been connected before.
