The device does not turn on, what to do?

Check that the device is properly plugged in and turned on. If the plug or cord are damaged, contact a qualified technician. The fuse inside the plug may have blown: replace it.

Why is the air not completely removed from the bag?

Make sure the bag is correctly positioned, its open end is clean and it is not punctured. Use bags suitable for vacuum packaging.

The bags do not seal correctly, why?

Check that there is no moisture on the part to be sealed. Ensure the end of the bag is properly placed on the sealing bar. Use suitable bags. If the problem persists, the sealing bar must be replaced.

What does error code E1 mean?

Error code E1 indicates poor contact of the lid with the chamber. Clean the lid gasket and the tank. If the gasket is deformed or broken, replace it. If the problem persists, contact a qualified technician.

What does error code E2 mean?

Error code E2 indicates a safety switch fault or an electronic problem. Contact a qualified technician.

How to clean the device?

Let the device cool down. Clean with a damp cloth and soapy water. Dry thoroughly. Never let water enter the device. Do not use abrasive products.

Can I use ordinary bags for vacuum packaging?

No, use exclusively bags or rolls specially designed for vacuum packaging, recommended by the manufacturer.

Does the device heat up during use?

Yes, the sealing bar heats up. Do not touch it during or just after use. Let it cool before cleaning.

How to adjust the vacuum time?

Use the '+' and '-' buttons under the Vacuum Time display to adjust the duration (20 to 99 seconds). The default setting is suitable for most foods.

Can I interrupt the current cycle?

Yes, press the Cancel button to stop the cycle and release the lid. You can also press Manual Seal to immediately proceed to sealing.

• Position on a flat, stable surface.
• A service agent/qualified technician should carry out installation and any repairs if required. Do not remove any components on this product.

• DO NOT immerse the appliance in water.
• The sealing bar becomes hot during use. DO NOT touch the sealing bar during or immediately after operation.
• Do not turn Off at the plug to halt operation; always use the Cancel button.
• Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.
• Only use bags recommended by the supplier/manufacturer with the appliance.
• Always switch off and disconnect the power supply to the appliance when not in use.
• Not suitable for outdoor use.

Controls

1. Vacuum & Seal Button / Cancel

• Press to start automatic operation of vacuuming the bag and then automatically seals the bag when vacuum is completed
• Press to stop the Vacuum cycle and release lid.

2. Manual Seal

• Use to seal open end of a bag when making bags from roll.
• During automatic 'Vacuum and Seal' function press to immediately start the bag sealing process (to avoid crushing delicate items)

3. Vacuum Time Screen

• Shows the working time and progress of vacuuming

4. Vacuum Time Adjusting Button (Vac Time "+" or "-" )

- Simply adjust the vacuum time "up" or "down" by using "+" or "-" buttons.

5. Seal Time Screen

• Shows the working time and progress of sealing function

6. Seal Time Adjusting Button (Seal Time "+" or "-"

- Simply adjust the seal time "up" or "down" by using "+" or "-" buttons.

7. Vacuum Gauge

• Shows the vacuum level inside the vacuum chamber.

Operation

Plug in Vacuum Pack Machine and turn on Power Switch. The machine is now ready for use.

Vacuum Packing Food

1. Place the food inside in the bag
2. Allow minimum of 25mm-50mm of space at the top of bag to ensure a good seal.
3. Place the open end of the bag across the sealing bar. Close lid
4. Press the Vacuum/Seal button
5. The machine goes to vacuum cycle. When vacuuming, vacuum time will be shown on the Digital Display and count down from default setting to 0.
   (Note: Vacuum time is adjustable from 20-99 seconds.)
6. At anytime during vacuum cycle pressing the 'Manual Seal' button will override timer and complete the vacuuming and sealing cycle.
7. After the vacuum process the machine automatically goes to sealing cycle.
8. When sealing, seal time will be shown on the Digital Display and count down from default setting to 0.
   (Note: Seal time is adjustable from 3-9 seconds. If the setting time is 0, the machine will not seal)
9. Take out the bag and check the vacuum and seal. (Note: A good seal will look clear upon inspection. If the seal is spotty, incomplete, wrinkled, white or milky, remove sealed portion and run vacuum and seal process again.)
10. Press "Cancel" button to stop the machine at any time.

Please store the vacuumed items properly. All perishable foods must be refrigerated or frozen to prevent spoilage.

Cleaning, Care & Maintenance

• Always allow to cool before cleaning.
• Use warm, soapy water and a damp cloth to clean the appliance.
• Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
• A BUFFALO dealer or qualified technician should carry out repairs if required.

Electrical Wiring

This appliance is supplied with a 3 pin, moulded, BS1363 plug and lead, with a 13 amp fuse as standard.

The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket.

This appliance is wired as follows:

• Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L
• Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N
• Earth wire (coloured green/yellow) to terminal marked E

This appliance must be earthed, using a dedicated earthing circuit. If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.

Electrical isolation points must be kept clear of any obstructions. In the event of any emergency disconnection being required they must be readily accessible.
