USER MANUAL Bonny Duo BEBE CONFORT
Safety General instructions Our products have been carefully designed and tested to ensure your baby’s safety and comfort. EN 1888-2:2018.
1. This vehicle is intended for children from birth and up to 22 kg/4 years (whichever comes rst).
2. Never carry more than 1 child per place in the pushchair at a time.
3. Never lift the pushchair with the child inside it.
4. Always use the most recline position when used for new born babies.
5. If the manufacturer of your pushchair recommends using it in combination with a carrycot or a car seat, then, the maximum weight for the combination is that indicated on the additional product. 6. If the manufacturer of your pushchair recommends using it in combination with a carrycot or car seat, always have them facing you.
7. Never use stairs or escalators with your child in the pushchair.
8. The brake must always be on when putting the child in or taking him out. Always use the parking brake, even when
standing still for only a few moments!
9. Only use accessories or spare parts sold or approved by the manufacturer. Using other accessories could be dangerous.
10. For buggies with accessories (depending on the version), please respect the maximum weight loads indicated below: Ex : Maximum permitted weight for the play tray 2 kg. Maximum permitted weight for the net bag 2 kg. Maximum permitted weight for the storage pocket 1 kg. Maximum permitted weight for the basket 5kg.
- Never leave the child unattended.
- Ensure that all the locking devices are engaged before use.
- To avoid injury ensure that the child is kept away when unfolding and folding this product.
- Do not let the child play with this product.
- Always use the restraint system.
- This product is not suitable for running or skating or any other sport activities.
- For car seats used in conjunction with a chassis, this vehicle does not replace a cot or a bed. Should your child need to sleep, then it should be placed in a suitable pram body, cot or bed.
- Not suitable for over night sleeping, your child may be at risk of serious harm or injury.
- Any load attached to the handle, backrest or sides aects the stability of the pram/pushchair.
- To avoid the risk of suocation, keep all plastic bags and packaging out of reach of babies and young children.
- Raincover uses: Do not use in sunny weather because of excessive heat. Do not use the raincover without the hood. Use only under adult supervision. During use, take care that the raincover does not touch the child face. Do not use on one or more product(s) than those recommended by the manufacturer.
- Always check that the brake is fully engaged before letting go of your stroller.
- Never let your child climb into or out of the stroller alone.
- Check that the pram body or seat unit or car seat attachment devices are EN33 correctly engaged before use. Care Chassis care advice 1. The product must be maintained regularly to provide full satisfaction. We advise you to check, and if necessary, clean mechanical parts every fortnight.
2. Clean the chassis, wheels and braking system after every muddy, sandy and corrosive environment.
3. Do not use grease or oil.
4. Your pushchair may not work properly if it is not maintained regularly.
5. Do not force it if it becomes dicult to fold or unfold. Clean the product.
6. If diculties persist, contact your supplier.
7. Care: Use a sponge and mild soap. Do not use detergent.
8. For washing the garment, please check the instruction label.
9. The tyres may leave colour marks on some surfaces (particularly smooth oors like parquet, laminate and linoleum). For
information, the colour of marks may be black, yellow... (depending on original oor surface colour). Fabric: Before cleaning check the label sewn into the fabric, you will nd the wash symbols indicating the method for washing each item. Environment Keep all plastic packaging materials out of reach of your child to avoid the risk of suocation. For environmental reasons, when you have stopped using this product, we ask that you dispose of the product in the proper waste facilities in accordance with local legislation. - All Bébé Confort products have been carefully designed and tested for your baby’s safety and comfort. Use only accessories sold or approved by Bébé Confort.
- Using other accessories may prove to be dangerous.
- Please read these instructions carefully and make yourself familiar with the child seat before using it.
- Always keep the instructions for future reference; there is a storage compartment specically provided on the child seat. Universal System with a 3 point seat-belt:
- Approved model ECE R44/04.
- The seat must be tted in the rearward-facing position semi-reclined in the front or the rear of the car.
- Do not use this car seat rearward facing, where front impact AIRBAGS are tted and armed.
- The manufacturer’s liability is limited to what is covered under the European Regulation (R44/04). This approval does not remove the necessity for care and respect for the Highway Code.
- After putting the child in the car seat, ensure that the car seat-belt is suciently taut by pulling the belt. Ensure also that the belt does not become twisted and adjust it so as to restrain the child. The car seat and your baby:
- Never leave a child unsupervised.
- Never leave your child alone in the vehicle.
- Even a gentle impact on a vehicle can turn a child into a projectile.
- For your own safety and that of your child, always put the child in the child car seat, however short your journey may be.
- Ensure that the straps under the stomach lie as low as possible, to properly support the pelvis.
- The temperature inside a vehicle may become very high, particularly after a long period of exposure to the sun. It is strongly34
recommended, under such conditions, to cover the seat of the car with a piece of material or something equivalent to prevent the harness xings, and in particular the metal parts, from becoming hot and burning the child.
It is dangerous to use or place this seat on a raised surface.
To avoid any risk of a fall, your child should always be fastened into the seat. IMPORTANT: Before carrying the seat, check that the carrying handle is locked in place. IMPORTANT: For your child’s safety, you are strongly advised not to place the car seat on a supermarket trolley. Bébé Confort car seat car use:
- This device should be used only on approved vehicles equipped with 3 point/static/inertia reel seat-belts that are approved in accordance with EEC/UN regulation N°16 or other equivalent standard.
- Do not use this car seat rearward facing, where front impact AIRBAGS are tted and armed. You may be able to deactivate it (see instruction book supplied with your vehicle). If so, and you are able to deactivate the airbag, you can use it facing forwards in your vehicle.
- This child restraint is eective only if the instructions for use are respected.
- Always fasten the child restraint even when the child is not sitting in it.
- The user must always check that any luggage and other objects likely to cause injury to the occupant of the car seat in the case of impact are properly secured.
- Never place heavy objects on the rear parcel shelf, to avoid the danger of projectiles in the event of an accident.
- The rigid parts and the plastic sections of a child restraint device should be positioned and installed in such a way that they cannot, when the vehicle is being used under normal conditions, become trapped under a moving seat or in the vehicle door.
- Always check that no part of the seat or the harness is trapped under a seat or in the vehicle door.
- It is essential that the car seat be replaced after an accident.
- Never modify the construction or the materials of the car seat and the seat belt without consulting the manufacturer.
- Do not use the child restraint device without the cover. Do not replace the seat cover with a cover other than that recommended by the manufacturer, because it will have a direct eect on the functioning of the child restraint.
- Folding seats must always be locked in place.
- After purchasing, install the seat in your vehicle. If you encounter any installation problems due to the length of the vehicle seat belt, contact your distributor immediately (prior to use).
- If in any doubt about the correct installation or use of the system, the user is advised to contact the distributor or the manufacturer of the child restraining device system.
- Do not use carrier contact points other than those described.
- Our products have been carefully designed and tested with the safety and comfort of your child in mind.

WARRANTY Our 24 months warranty reects our condence in the high quality of our design, engineering, production and product performance. We conrm that this product was manufactured in accordance with the current European safety requirements and quality standards which are applicable to this product, and that this product is free from defects on materials and workmanship at the time of purchase. Under the conditions mentioned herein, this warranty may be invoked by consumers in the countries where this product has been sold by a subsidiary of the Dorel Group or by an authorized dealer or retailer. Our 24 months warranty covers all manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship when used in normal conditions and in accordance with our user man- ual for a period of 24 months from the date of the original retail purchase by the rst end-user customer. To request repairs or spare parts under our warranty for defects in materials and workmanship you must present your proof of purchase, made within the 24 months preceding the service request. Our 24 months warranty does not apply to defects caused by normal wear and tear, damage caused by accidents, abusive use, negligence, re, liquid contact or other external cause, damage which is the consequence of failing to comply with the user manual, damage caused by use with another product, damage caused by service by anyone who is not authorized by us, or if the product is stolen or if any label or identication number has been removed from the product or has been changed. Examples of normal wear and tear include wheels and fabric worn down by regular use and the natural breakdown of colors and materi- als due to normal aging of the product. What to do in case of defects: Should problems or defects arise, your rst point of contact is the authorized dealer or retailer recognized by us. Our 24 months warranty is recognized by them(1). You must present your proof of purchase, made within the 24 months preceding the service request. It is easiest if you get your service request pre-ap- proved by us. If you submit a valid claim under this warranty, we may request that you return your product to the authorized dealer or retailer recognized by us or that you ship the product to us in accordance with our instructions. We will pay for shipment and for return freight if all instructions are followed. Damage and/or defects neither covered by our warranty nor by the legal rights of the consumer and/or damage and/or defects with respect to products that are not covered by our warranty can be handled at a reasonable fee. Rights of the consumer: A consumer has legal rights pursuant to applicable consumer legislation, which may vary from country to country. The rights of the consumer under applicable national legislation are not aected by this warranty. This warranty is provided by Dorel Netherlands.
