• The device uses varying ultrasonic frequencies and pressure waves which will make the animals and insects feel uncomfortable and threatened.

• The Mouse-Ant-Repellent, Duo does not hinder the animals from being in the area. It makes them feel uncomfortable and the animals will move to other areas, which appear more pleasant and quieter. The changing frequencies prevent the animals from getting used to the noise. It may take a few days or weeks until the effect fully takes place.

• When insects leave their nests they will leave behind eggs and larvae. It is therefore necessary to keep the device in use for at least 4 to 6 weeks, even if you can‘t see any insects. As a preventive measure, the repellent can be used throughout the whole year.

• The dispersion of the sound depends on the local surroundings.

3. Safety Instructions

• Electrical appliances, packaging materials, etc. do not belong in the hands of children.

• The device may only be used with the stated voltage: 9 V DC power supply.

• If repairs are needed, only original spare parts may be used to avoid serious damage.

• This device is not designed to be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, lack of experience or knowledge or children under the age of 8 years unless they are supervised or have been instructed in the use of the device by a person responsible for their safety.

• Keep these instructions in a safe place and pass them on when giving the device to a third person.

• This unit is suitable for indoor use only.

• Make sure that the device is placed onto a dry floor. The device must be protected from dampness, extreme cold and heat.

• In schools, training centres, clubs and workshops, the operation the device must be monitored by trained personnel.

• Make sure that the power cord will never be squashed, subjected to sharp edges or damaged in any other way. Ensure that the cable does not become a tripping hazard.

• Do not use this device in the vicinity of explosive gases, vapours or excessive dust.

• Do not connect the device if the power cord or the device is damaged. Disconnect the device immediately from the mains.

• The power supply may only be connected to a properly installed power socket. The vol

tage must match the specifications depicted on the nameplate of the power supply.

The Mouse-Ant- Repellent, Duo offers two different functions: The device can emit ultrasound in the frequency range between 25.000 - 65.000 Hz and pressure waves. The frequency of the ultrasonic signal varies automatically, preventing the animals from getting used to the irritating sound, and is emitted through the two speakers at the side of the device [ ]. The variation of the frequencies is required, so that the animals do not get accustomed to the irritating sound. Pressure waves are emitted through an additional driver at the front of the repeller [ ]. Animals perceive ultrasound and pressure pulses subconsciously at first, but after a short period of time they will begin to feel uncomfortable and threatened. This will make them leave the area to look for a more pleasant place to settle down. The two functions can be activa

ted individually or concurrently using the 4-position switch at the bottom of the device. Setting up the device:

• Connect the repellent to the supplied power supply by using the input at the bottom of the device [

• Insert the power supply into a 230 V mains plug. The repellent is now active.

• Choose the mode you wish to use with the 4-position switch. 4-position switch [

pressed impulse waves. In this mode the green and the red LED will light up.12 Attention: Install the device so that the sound can distribute itself throughout the room. Make sure that the cables on the floor to not become a hazard.

• Working temperature – 20 °C to + 50 °C at ≤ 90 % R.H.

• Storage temperature: 0 °C to + 50 °C at ≤ 90 % R.H.

• For safety and conformity reasons it is not permitted to rebuild or modify the device and/or use it in any other way than described above.

• As Gardigo has no control of the correct of appropriate installation and use of the device the warranty can only be applied to a fully equipped device in prime condition. We assume neither warranty nor liability for damages or following damages related to this product. This applies especially if it has been modifications or repairs have been made by the customer, if the circuitry has been modified or components have been used other than the original components and/or if the operation of the device has been incorrect, careless or abusive.

• The device may be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use any solvents or detergents.
