USER MANUAL 25190 Gardigo

This device is designed to repel flies from your table. The rotating shimmering wings simulate a threat to flies and they will therefore stay away. Any other use as the mentioned is not permitted! No liabilities will be taken for damages or consequential damages or claims resulting out of not reading and/or not following the user guide and/or any form of modification on or in the product. Under these circumstances, no warranty services will be granted.

2. Safety instructions

• Electrical appliances, packaging materials, etc. do not belong in the hands of children.

• Children are not allowed to play with the device.

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.

• The device may only be used with the stated voltage: 3 V, 2 x AA Mignon.

• Keep these instructions in a safe place and pass them on when giving the device to a third person.

• This device may be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience or lack of knowledge, if they have Status: 01/21 Fly Scare7 been given supervision or instructions concer- ning the use of the device in a safe way and un- derstand the hazards involved.

During the summer months, flies will circle the food around the table and all the people at the table will start swatting at them with their hands or with folded newspapers. They are irritating and keeping them o the food is quite a dicult and tedious task, considering the number of flies that can gather during the summer. They are just a nuisance. The solution lies in the Gardigo Fly Scare. Just place the decorative pyramid onto the middle of the table and switch it on. The rotating propeller with its glistening stripes simulates an attack on the flies and shoos them away. Even though the smell of the food might be luring, the constant movement will irritate them so much, that they will eventually stay away.

• Power supply: 2 x AA batteries, mignon (not included)

• The CE conformity has been proven and the declarations are deposited with us.

• For safety and conformity reasons it is not permitted to rebuild or modify the device and/or use it in any other way than described above. Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the device. When inserting the bat- teries, make sure that the polarity is correct and as shown in the battery compart- ment. (The negative end the battery is always connected to the spring) Switch the device ON. The switch is next to the battery compartment. The propeller will start rotating. The wings will expand and keep away the flies from the food in the vicinity. The fly scare can also be installed hanging. Simply fold out the hanging ring on the underside of the fly device and hang it up.8

• This device has a warranty of two years. As Gardigo has no control of the correct of appropriate installation and use of the device the warranty can only be applied to a fully equipped device in prime condition. We assume neither warranty nor liability for damages or following damages related to this product. This applies especially if it has been modifications or repairs have been made by the customer, if the circuitry has been modified or components have been used other than the original compo

nents and/or if the operation of the device has been incorrect, careless or abusive.

At the end of its life span this product may not be disposed as normal household waste but must be disposed of at a collecting place for recycling of elec- trical and electronic equipment. The icon on the product, in the manual, or on the packing points to this fact. The materials are recyclable according to their labelling. Through reusing, material recycling, or other forms of utilisation of old devices you make an important con- tribution to the protection of the environment. Please ask the local administration for the responsible waste disposal centre. Consumers are legally obligated to return used and rechargeable batteries, whether they contain harmful substances* or not, to designated recycling areas, disposal sites, or stores where batteries/rechargeable batteries can be bought. By doing so, you are fulfilling all le- gal battery recycling and disposal obligations and are contributing to a better enviroment.
