How to set the time on the TECHNOLINE WS 8004 clock?

Press MODE to access settings. Use UP or DOWN to select 12h/24h format, then SET or C/F to confirm. Then set hours, minutes, year, month, and day in that order. If no button is pressed for 60 seconds, settings are automatically confirmed.

How to activate the alarm on this clock?

In normal display mode, press MODE twice or ALM once. Press SET to enter alarm settings. Set hours and minutes with UP/DOWN, then confirm with SET. You can choose from 8 melodies. The ALM icon displayed indicates the alarm is active.

How to deactivate the alarm?

In normal display mode, press MODE twice or ALM to access alarm mode. Press SET five times until -:- is displayed, meaning the alarm is deactivated.

How to use the snooze function?

In normal display mode, press UP to enable/disable the snooze function. If enabled, the alarm sounds for 1 minute every 4 minutes, with 3 repetitions. While it is sounding, press any button to stop it; the SNOOZE icon flashes. Press UP again to disable snooze.

How to set the birthday reminder?

In normal display mode, press MODE three times, then SET. Use UP/DOWN to set the hour, minutes, year, month, and day. Confirm each step with SET. At the set date and time, the clock plays the birthday song for 5 minutes. To disable, set a past date.

How to use the countdown timer?

In normal display mode, press MODE four times to access the countdown timer. Press SET to set hours and minutes (up to 23h59). Confirm with SET to start the countdown. To stop and reset, press SET in timer mode. To deactivate the timer, press SET four times until -:- appears.

How to display temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit?

In normal display mode, press SET or C/F to toggle between °C and °F display.

How to play melodies continuously?

In normal time display mode, press DOWN to show the music symbol ((( ))). When displayed, melodies play continuously until you press DOWN again.

Which batteries to use and how to replace them?

Use only non-rechargeable AA alkaline batteries. Open the battery compartment at the back of the clock, insert batteries observing +/- polarity. Always replace all batteries at the same time and remove used batteries immediately.

What to do if the clock does not turn on?

Check that the batteries are properly installed and in good condition. Try new batteries. Ensure the contacts are clean. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

At normal display status, press "MODE" key to enter into the set mode. "12Hr/24Hr" flashes, then press "UP" or "DOWN" keys to change between 12Hr or 24Hr mode. 12Hr/24Hr TIME DISPLAY:

At normal display status, press "MODE" key to enter into the setting of 12Hr/24Hr display. Press "SET" or "C/F" key to confirm your setting and change to the hour setting.

ALARM & SNOOZE FUNCTION:

At normal time display, press “MODE” key twice or press “ALM” key directly to enter alarm mode. Press “SET” or “C/F” to enter key to enter alarm set mode. Then press “UP” or “DOWN” keys to adjust hour. Press “SET” or “C/F” key to confirm your setting and change to the minute setting. Proceed in the settings by using “UP” or “DOWN” keys to adjust and “SET” or “C/F” key to confirm your setting. The setting sequence is: Hour, minute, melodies, exit. You can choose between 8 different alarm melodies.

The alarm is set on when "ALARM" is displayed in normal time mode.

SET ALARM OFF:

At normal time display press "MODE" key twice or press "ALM" key directly to enter alarm mode. Now press "SET" key five times until "--" is shown, the alarm is now set off.

SNOOZE FUNCTION:

In normal time display press "UP" key in order to set snooze function on or off. If the alarm is on and the snooze function is off, it will ring one minute when time is up. Press any key to stop. If the snooze function is on, it will ring for one minute every four minutes interval, lasting three times totally. While alarm is ringing, press any key to stop the alarm, the "SNOOZE" icon is still flashing which indicates that snooze alarm is active. Snooze alarm works three times in a row. Press "UP" to turn of the snooze function.

BIRTHDAY-REMIND SETTING:

At normal display status, press "MODE" key three times to enter birthday-reminding mode. Press "SET" or "C/F" to enter key to enter birthday-reminding set mode. Then press "UP" or "DOWN" keys to adjust hour. Press "SET" or "C/F" key to confirm your setting and change to the minute setting. Proceed the settings by using "UP" or "DOWN" keys to adjust and "SET"

or "C/F" key to confirm your setting. The setting sequence is: Hour → Minute → Year → Month → Date → Exit.

When the set time and date is reached, the clock will play birthday song for 5 minutes to celebrate "HAPPY BIRTHDAY". If you don't want to use the reminder function set a past date.

At the setting status, if no key is operated within 60 seconds, the previous setting will be confirmed automatically, and return to normal display status automatically.

TIMER SETTING:

At normal display status, press "MODE" key four times key to enter into timer mode.

Press SET" or "C/F" to enter key to enter alarm set mode. Then press "UP" or "DOWN" keys to adjust hour. Press "SET" or "C/F" key to confirm your setting and change to the minute setting. Now set minutes by using "UP" or "DOWN" keys to adjust and "SET" or "C/F" key to confirm your setting. The setting range is Hour, Minute (approximately 23Hr : 59Min)

After confirmation of the minute setting, the timer will start to count down. You can stop and reset the timer by pressing the "SET" key while timer mode is displayed.

When the time is up to 0:00:00, alarm will ring for 1 minute and "0:00:00" will flash at the same time.

At the setting status, if no key is operated within one minute, the previous setting will be confirmed automatically, the timer will start and the clock will return to normal display status automatically.

SET TIMER OFF:

At normal time display press "MODE" key four times to enter alarm mode. Now press "SET" four times until "--" is shown, the timer is now set off.

TEMPERATURE DISPLAY °C/°F:

At normal display status, press "SET" or "C/F" key to switch between the °C/°F display.

PLAY MELODIES:

At normal time display, press “DOWN” key to turn on or off music mark “(((。)))”. When the mark is on, the melodies will be played in row until set off by pressing the “DOWN” key.
