General Notes
Before using this appliance, carefully read this user manual and keep it together with the Warranty Certificate, cashier receipt and if possible, the original package inclusive its interior packing. If you hand on the appliance to any third person, include the user manual as well.
- Use the appliance for private and its intended purpose only. The appliance is not intended for commercial use.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors. Protect it from heat, direct sunlight, humidity (do not immerse into liquids under any circumstances) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance gets wet, unplug it immediately.
- Regularly check the appliance and cable for signs of damage. Do not continue to operate the appliance in case of damage.
- Do only use original parts.
- For the safety of your children, keep any packing parts (plastic bags, cartilage, Styrofoam etc.) out of their reach.

Do not allow small children to play with the foil. There is a danger of suffocation!
Special Safety Instructions for this Appliance

WARNING: Risk of injury!
• The blades of the knives are sharp!
- Handle the knives with the necessary care!
- There is a risk of injury, especially when inserting / removing the knives from the container and when cleaning them!
- Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
- Do not repair the appliance by yourself. Always contact an authorized technician. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

WARNING: Risk of injury!
• This appliance shall not be used by children.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.

CAUTION:
The motor housing must not be immersed in water for cleaning. Follow the instructions provided in the chapter "Cleaning".
Intended Use
This appliance is intended for processing foodstuffs that can be shredded.
It is not suitable for stirring or mixing liquids.
Do not operate the appliance when empty.
It is intended for the use in private households and similar applications.
Only use this appliance as instructed in this user manual. Do not use this appliance commercially.
No other use is intended and can cause damage or personal injuries.
The manufacturer does not assume any liability for damages resulting from improper use.
Unpacking the Appliance
- Remove the appliance from the package.
- Remove all packaging material such as films, filler, cable holders and cardboard.
- Check the delivery contents for completeness.
- Should the package contents be incomplete or damages be found, do not take the appliance into operation. Take it immediately back to the dealer.
i NOTE:
Dust or production residues can be located on the appliance. We recommend to clean the appliance as described under "Cleaning".

Preparations and General Information
• Prepare the dish. Refer to the table below.
- Place the rubber ring on a level surface. Place the container on the rubber ring.
Assembling the Appliance
Whether you use only one knife or both knives depends on the quantity and consistency of your food.
- If you would like to use both knives, assemble them before putting them into the container. Refer to figure B on page 3.
- Carefully pull off the blade guard.
- Place the knife with the long shaft onto the pin of the container.

NOTE:
- The shaft on the bottom of the container drives the knife.
• Always fit the knife first. -
Only then fill in the food.

The safety cover is equipped with 2 silicone rings. Prior to each use, make sure that the silicone rings are correctly positioned:

Large seal ring on the bottom side of the safety cover;
-
Small guide ring in the center of the safety cover.
-
Put on the safety cover. The shaft of the tool must now protrude through the hole in the protective cover.
- Place the motor unit on the cover. In doing so, use the recesses in the safety cover.
Electrical Connection
- Check whether the power supply that you want to use coincides with that of the appliance. This information can be found on the nameplate.
- Connect the mains plug to a properly installed protective contact socket.

NOTE:
- The motor unit is equipped with a safety switch.
- If the appliance does not start, check if the motor housing, safety cover and knife are correctly fitted.
Operation
The multi-chopper has push-button operation. The motor will run as long as you keep the switch pressed down.
Setting I = low speed setting
Setting II = high speed setting

CAUTION:
- The appliance is suited for a short-term operation of maximum 45 seconds. Allow it to cool down for approx. 2 minutes before using it again.
• After 5 operating cycles, allow the appliance to cool down for approx. 15 - 20 minutes.

You may also chop up ice cubes:
- Use both knives for this.
- Fill the container with ice cubes to max. 200 g.
• Repeatedly press the switch for only a short time.

NOTE:
The ice cubes are chopped more evenly and you may specify the granularity better.
Cleaning

WARNING:
• After use and before cleaning always disconnect from mains power supply!
- Do not submerge the motor housing in water! It could lead to electric shock or fire.
- The cutting surfaces of the knives are sharp. There is a risk of injury! Handle these with the necessary care!

CAUTION:
- Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive utensils for cleaning.
- Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
- Clean the motor housing with a dry cloth without additional cleaning agents.
Container, Safety Cover, Knives and Rubber Ring

CAUTION:
- Do not wash these accessories in the dishwasher. The surfaces may become dull.
-
Do not fill the bowl with boiling water.
-
Wash these accessories manually in dishwater.
- Rinse with clear water and dry with a cloth.
- For storage install the blade guard!
Storage
- Clean the appliance as described. Let the accessories dry completely.
• We recommend that you keep the appliance in the original packaging, if you do not want to use it for a longer period.
• Always store the appliance out of reach of children in a well ventilated, dry place.
Troubleshooting
The appliance does not work.
Solution:
Check mains power connection.
Further possible causes:
The appliance is equipped with a safety switch.
This prevents accidental starting of the motor.
Solution:
Check that the motor housing, safety cover and knife are fitted correctly.
