How to use the OK ORI 1140 rice cooker: proportions and cooking steps
Frequently Asked Questions - 12/05/2026
Response Notice-Facile

The OK ORI 1140 rice cooker works on a 1:1 ratio of rice to water. Use the included measuring cup:

  • 2 cups of rice = water up to mark 2
  • 3 cups of rice = water up to mark 3
  • 4 cups of rice = water up to mark 4
  • 5 cups of rice = water up to mark 5

Steps:

  • Wash the rice and pour it into the container with the measuring cup
  • Spread the rice evenly at the bottom
  • Add water up to the corresponding mark (do not exceed mark 5)
  • Place the container in the pot and close the glass lid
  • Plug in the power cord
  • Press the Power/Function button to start cooking
  • The COOK indicator lights up during cooking. The WARM indicator lights up automatically at the end - the rice is ready and stays warm

Important: Use at least 2 cups of rice. A smaller amount may not cook properly.

What do the markings on the included measuring cup correspond to?
Frequently Asked Questions - 12/05/2026
Response Notice-Facile

The markings 1, 3, 5 on the measuring cup correspond directly to the water levels in the pot.

How it works:

  • Fill the included measuring cup with washed rice up to the desired marking (for example, up to the line "3")
  • Pour this rice into the pot
  • Pour water into the pot up to the same number as the rice (1:1 ratio)

Example:
- 3 cups of rice (up to the marking "3" on the cup) = water up to the marking "3" in the pot

Important: Pour at least 2 measuring cups of rice. With a smaller amount, the rice will not cook properly.

The water can be adjusted slightly depending on the type of rice and your personal preferences.
