INTENDED USE This appliance is only intended for food preparation. Only use according to these instructions. Improper use is dangerous and will void any warranty claim. For household use only. Do not use outdoors. Important safety instructions can be found in the separate document.
BEFORE FIRST TIME USE
Carefully read this user manual in order to avoid damage or injuries due to • incorrect use. Pay particular attention to safety instructions. Keep for future reference and pass it on to further users. Carefully remove all packaging and check if appliance is complete and un-• damaged. In case of damage, do not use the appliance. Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down completely before cleaning.• Clean the pot with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Do not immerse in water.• Clean the rice pot, glass lid and rice spoon with a soft cloth in warm dishwa-• ter; use mild cleaner to remove heavy staining. Wipe dry afterwards. Do not use abrasive cleaners, hard metal brush, scouring pads or sharp objects. Never put the cooker in dish washer.•
The crossed-out wheeled bin logo requires the separate collection of waste electric and electronic equipment (WEEE). Electric and electronic equipment may contain dangerous and hazardous substances. Do not dispose of this appliance as unsorted municipal waste. Return it to a desig- nated collection point for the recycling of WEEE. By doing so, you will help to conserve resources and protect the environment. Contact your retailer or local authorities for more information. DISPOSAL Do not wash the rice in the rice pot, otherwise the non-stick coating might • get damaged. Other utensils should not be placed between the rice pot, and the device.• Do not use any hard metal spoon inside the rice pot, otherwise may destroy • the non-stick coating. Wash rice and place evenly into the rice pot; add water accordingly. Press power switch to switch cooker on. Power indicator turns on. Water must not exceed MAX marking. Wipe the outside sur- face of the rice pot and then place into main unit. Place the glass lid. The cooker will switch off automatically, when the rice is ready. Plug in the appliance. Unplug the cooker be- fore opening the lid. Use rice spoon to serve the rice. Clean the rice pot and glass lid after using. OpeRaTIOn
