Frequently Asked Questions - HS 12.0 B2 SILVERCREST

How do I connect the vacuum in the car?
Insert the 12 V plug into the vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. Make sure the car engine is running to avoid discharging the battery.
Can I vacuum liquids with this vacuum?
No, this vacuum is designed only for vacuuming dry surfaces and dry materials. Never vacuum liquids, as this could damage the device and cause electric shock.
How do I clean the dust filter?
Unlock the dust tank, remove the filter, rinse it with cold water, let it dry completely before reinstalling. Never use the vacuum without the filter.
When should I empty the dust tank?
Empty the tank immediately after each use, or as soon as suction power decreases. A full tank reduces the vacuum's efficiency.
Which accessories can I use?
The device comes with an extension hose, a small brush (for stubborn dirt), and a flat nozzle (for tight spaces). No other accessories are compatible.
Can the vacuum be used on fabrics or cushions?
Yes, with the small brush you can clean cushions, carpets, and other textile surfaces. Brush first to loosen dirt, then vacuum.
What to do if the vacuum does not work?
Check that the 12 V plug is properly connected and that the cigarette lighter works. If the device still does not turn on, contact customer service (0800 919270 in France).
Can I use the vacuum without the filter?
No, use without the filter is prohibited. This would damage the motor and void the warranty. The filter must always be in place.
How do I know if my vacuum is still under warranty?
The warranty is 3 years from the date of purchase. Keep the receipt as proof. The item number (IAN 378247_2110) is on the device and in the manual.
Can I repair the vacuum myself?
No, never open the device. Any repair must be carried out by an authorized service center. Unauthorized intervention voids the warranty.
