Please read it carefully before rst use and keep it for future reference. Fire and explosion risks! A battery can emit explosive gases when on charge. The battery tester should only be connected to batteries with a nominal output voltage of 6V and 12V. ATTENTION: Reverse polarity will cause the fuse to blow and could cause permanent damage. Damage due to reverse polarity is not covered by our warranty. ATTENTION: if the car’s battery is disconnected, it is possible that some management systems may be disabled. Consult your vehicle manual for more information on installation. Do not use the battery tester if the battery cables or terminals are damaged. Do not use the battery tester if it has received a severe shock or has been damaged in any way. Do not disassemble the device. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of electric shock or re. Risk of acid dispersion!

User manual DBT 410 Translation of the original instructions DESCRIPTION The DBT 410 battery tester quickly and accurately assesses the health of the battery by measuring:
- the actual cold cranking amperage capacity of the vehicle’s starter battery,
- the state of health and the state of charge of the battery,
- the internal resistance of the battery,
- common faults in the starting system,
- common faults in the vehicle’s charging system. This allows the user to quickly and accurately identify faults in order to repair the vehicle.
1. Tests all lead acid starter batteries for cars and motorbikes (Liquid / GEL / AGM / AGM Spiral / EFB) in 6 and 12 V.
2. Detects defective battery cells.
3. Is protected against reverse polarity.
4. Direct testing of the battery with no capacity loss, a full charge is not required before testing.
5. The test specications cover the majority of the world’s battery standards: CCA, BCI, CA, MCA, DIN, SAE, EN, IEC.
6. Multilingual support, the customer can select their preferred language from 10 dierent options:
Simplied Chinese, English, French, Spanish, German, Russian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Dutch. PRODUCT OVERVIEW The battery tester has the following functions: Battery test 6/12 V is to analyse the state of health of the battery to calculate its actual cold start capacity and its state of deterioration. This provides reliable test evidence when servicing the vehicle. It can serve as a pre- ventive warning for the user to replace the battery. Start-up test 6/12 V is used to test and analyse engine starting. It checks the actual starting current required and the starting voltage of the motor, to determine whether it is working properly or not. Malfunctions during start-up can cause an increase in the torque applied during starting; or rotor friction, which can cause general motor wear. Alternator test 6/12 V is to check and analyse the charging system. It determines whether the alternator output voltage is normal or not. Any anomaly can cause the battery to be over-charged or under-charged, which can lead to damage quite quickly, and considerably shorten the lifespan of the battery and the electrical devices that depend on it (ECUs, consumers, etc.).
