All the icon on the LCD display will briefly light up for 3 seconds, you will hear a beep tone and the clock begins the search for the radio signal. Inserting back-up batteries (optional) Open the battery compartment cover on the backside of the clock. Insert 2 x AA batteries observing correct polarity [ “+” and “-” marks] Close the battery compartment cover again.EN3 Environmental reception effects The clock obtains the accurate time with wireless technology. Same as all wireless devices, the reception is maybe affected by the following circumstances: long transmitting distance nearby mountains and valleys near freeway, railway, airports, high voltage cable etc. near construction site among tall buildings inside concrete buildings near electrical appliances (computers, TV’s, etc) and metallic structures inside moving vehicles Place the clock at a location with optimal signal, i.e. close to a window and away from metal surfaces or electrical appliances. Reception of the radio signal: The clock automatically starts the DCF signal search after 7 minutes of any restart or changing of new fresh batteries. The radio mast icon starts to flash. At 1:00 /2:00 / 3:00 am, the clock automatically carries out the synchronization procedure with the DCF signal to correct any deviations to the exact time. If this synchronization attempt is unsuccessful (the radio mast icon disappears from the display), the system will automatically attempt another synchronization at the next full one hour. This procedure is repeated automatically up to total 5 times. To manually start DCF signal reception, press the “WAVE” button once. If no signals received within 7 minutes, then the DCF signal search stops (the radio mast icon disappears) and start again at the next full one hour. To stop searching radio signal, press the “WAVE” button once. Notes: A flashing radio mast icon indicates that the DCF signal reception has started A continuously displayed radio mast icon indicates that the DCF signal was received successfully We recommend a minimum distance of 2.5 meters to all sources of interference, such as televisions or computer monitors Radio reception is weaker in rooms with concrete walls (e.g.: in cellars) and in offices. In such extreme circumstances, place the system close to the window. During the DCF radio receive mode, only the “WAVE” button function, other button operation have no function, If you want to carry out other functions of operation, please press “WAVE” button to exit the DCF radio receive mode. Selecting RCC mode on/off: Hold the “WAVE” button until the beep tone sounds and “RCC OFF” is shortly displayed on the LCD. The clock is now no longer using radio-controlled function. Hold the “WAVE” button again until the beep tone sounds and “RCC ON” is shortly displayed on the LCD. The clock is using radio-controlled function again. 12-hour or 24-hour time display setting: Press the “DOWN” button to change the time displayed in 12-hour or 24-hour display. Manual time setting: Press and hold down the “SET/ ” button for 2 seconds, the button BEEP sound settings: ON or OFF is displayed. Press the “UP” or “DOWN” button to set BEEP in ON or OFF.EN4 Press “SET/ ” to confirm your setting, the time zone starts to flash. Press the “UP” or “DOWN” button to set a correct time zone (-2 to +2). For example, select "0" for Germany or "- 1" for the United Kingdom. Press “SET/ ” to confirm your setting, the hour display starts to flash. Press the “UP” or “DOWN” button to set the correct hour. Press “SET/ ” to confirm your setting, the minute displays starts to flash. Press the “UP” or “DOWN” button to set the correct minute. Press “SET/ ” to confirm your setting, the year display 2018 starts to flash. Press the “UP” or “DOWN” button to set the correct year. Press “SET/ ” button to confirm your setting, the month display starts to flash. Press the “UP” or “DOWN” button to set the correct month. Press “SET/ ” button to confirm your setting, the date display starts to flash. Press the “UP” or “DOWN” button to set the correct date. Press “SET/ ” button to confirm your setting, the language selection starts to flash. Press the “UP” or “DOWN” button to select a language. Press “SET/ ” to confirm your setting and to end the setting procedures, enter the clock mode. Notes: After 20 seconds without pressing any button, the clock switches automatically from set mode to normal time mode. The value of seconds is automatically reset to 00 if the value of minutes is changed. In the set time, you can hold the “UP” and “DOWN” button to quickly change the setting of the value Explanation of the Time Zone display: If you are in a country in which the clock still receives the DCF signal, but in which the actual local time is different, then you can use the time zone adjustment to adjust your clock to the local time. If, for example, the local time in the country where you are now is in one hour behind of German time, then set the Time zone display to -01. This clock is now DCF controlled, but is showing a time one hour behind. Setting the daily alarms: Press and hold down “ALARM” button more than 3 seconds until Alarm 1 Time hour display of the Alarm 1 time starts to flash. Press the “UP” or “DOWN” button to set the required hour. Press “ALARM” button to confirm your setting, the minute display of the Alarm 1 time starts to flash. Press the “UP” or “DOWN” button to set the required minute. Press “ALARM” button to confirm your setting, the repeat icon “M-F” of the Alarm 1 time starts to flash. Press the “UP” or “DOWN” button to set the alarm repeat in “M-F” or “S-S” or “M-F” and “S-S”. “M-F” is for alarm from monday to friday, while “S-S” is for alarm from saturday to sunday.EN6 Press “ALARM” button to confirm your setting, the snooze time of the Alarm1 starts to flash. Press the “UP” or “DOWN” button to set the minute of snooze you need. Press “ALARM” button to confirm your setting, the hour display of the Alarm 2 time starts to flash. Notes: After 20 seconds without pressing any button the clock switches automatically from setting mode to Normal clock mode. The alarm is repeatedly set to M-F, the alarm function will be activated from Monday to Friday, the Saturday and Sunday will be invalid. The alarm is repeatedly set to S-S, and the alarm function will be activated on Saturday and Sunday, and will expire from Monday to Friday. When the alarm is repeatedly set to display both M-F and S-S, the alarm function will be activated throughout the week. The snooze time setting range: 5 ~ 60MIN, OFF – there is no snooze function when set to OFF. Snooze time unit is minutes. Activate or deactivate the alarm Press “ALARM” button can switch the display ALARM1 time or ALARM2 time, in the alarm1 or alarm2 display mode, press the “UP” button to turn the alarm on or off. The alarm 1 or alarm 2 turn on, the “ ” or “ ”icon is displayed, the alarm 1 or alarm 2 function is open, The repeat of alarm icon at the same time is also displayed. Stop the alarm signal During the alarm sound, press any button to stop the alarm. Snooze function: When the time is up to the alarm, touch “SNOOZE”, the alarm signal stops, and enter the SNOOZE mode. After the snooze time is counted, the alarm will ring again. In snooze mode, press any button buttons or touch “SNOOZE” and hold for more than 2 seconds to exit the snooze mode. Notes: When the snooze function is set to OFF, when the time is up to the alarm, touch the “SNOOZE” character position does not have this snooze function. Temperature & Humidity Detection: Temperature measuring range: -9.9°C (+14°F) ~ +50°C (+122°F), LL °C(°F) will displayed if value lower than -9.9°C (+14°F), HH °C(°F) will displayed if value higher than +50°C (+122°F). Humidity measuring range: 20%RH ~ 95%RH, 19%RH will displayed if value lower than 20%RH, 96%RH will displayed if value higher than 95%RH.EN7
°C or °F temperature display The temperature is displayed either in °C or °F. Briefly pressing the “°C/°F” button allows you to switch between °C or °F. Backlight If the product is powered by batteries, press the “SNOOZE/LIGHT” button. Backlight lit 8 seconds. When the power supply of the product is inserted into the power supply adapter, the battery will automatically disconnect the power supply, and the backlight will always be bright. Press the “SET/ ” button to adjust the brightness of the backlight, you can adjust the 4 state: 3 different brightness backlight and deactivate the backlight. When the backlight brightness is not at the maximum brightness, press the “SNOOZE/LIGHT” button and backlight turns to maximum brightness of 8 seconds. Note: During the reception of the time radio wave signal, the backlight will be automatically closed to prevent the interference of the radio wave. Low battery: When the low voltage icon “ ” is displayed, you need to replace the battery. Trouble shooting If your clock displays irrelevant time or does not function properly, which maybe caused by electro- static discharge or other interference, slide open the battery cover, take out the batteries and reinstall them by observing the correct +/- polarity. Your unit will be reset to default settings and you need to set it again. Batteries safety warnings Install batteries correctly by matching the polarities (+/-). Always replace a complete set of batteries. Never mix used and new batteries. Remove exhausted batteries immediately. Remove batteries when not in use. Do not recharge and do not dispose of batteries in fire as the batteries may explode. Ensure batteries are stored away from metal objects as contact may cause a short circuit. Avoid exposing batteries to extreme temperature or humidity or direct sunlight. Keep all batteries out of reach from children. They are a choking hazard.EN8 Use the product only for its intended purpose! Consideration of duty according to the battery law Old batteries do not belong to domestic waste because they could cause damages of health and environment. You can return used batteries free of charge to your dealer and collection points. As end-user you are committed by law to bring back needed batteries to distributors and other collecting points.
