Frequently Asked Questions - WS 9065 TECHNOLINE

How to set the time manually?
To set the time manually, press and hold the mode button for 2 seconds. The temperature unit flashes. Use + and - to select °C or °F, then press mode to go to the next setting (12/24h, time zone, hours, minutes, weather forecast). Confirm each step with mode. No action for 20 seconds saves the settings.
What to do if the clock does not synchronize with the DCF signal?
If the radio antenna icon disappears, synchronization has failed. The station automatically retries every hour up to 5 attempts. For a manual attempt, press and hold the Wave button for 2 seconds. Ensure the station is at least 2.5 m away from electrical devices and near a window. Avoid concrete walls. If necessary, disable USB charging as it interferes.
How to change the outdoor sensor batteries?
Open the battery compartment cover of the sensor (mark T4). Insert 2 LR06 (AA) batteries observing polarity (+/-). Close the cover. The sensor automatically transmits the signal. Check that the station displays the outdoor temperature. If not, press and hold the CH button on the station for 3 seconds to force reception.
How to enable/disable the alarm?
To enable the alarm, set the AL switch to on; the bell icon appears. To disable, set it to off. To set the alarm time, press mode to view the alarm time, then press and hold mode for 2 seconds until the hours flash. Set with +/- and confirm with mode. The snooze duration is adjustable from 1 to 60 minutes.
How to use the USB charging function?
Connect a portable device (smartphone, etc.) to the USB port on the back of the station. The output provides 5V 1A. Note that during DCF signal reception, USB charging and backlight are automatically disabled to avoid interference.
How to interpret the weather forecast symbols?
The station displays symbols based on barometric pressure changes for the next 8 hours. The symbols are: sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy, heavy rain, snowy. These forecasts may differ from actual conditions. You can adjust them manually during time setting.
What does the frost alert icon mean?
The frost alert icon flashes when the outdoor temperature is between -1°C and +2.9°C. This indicates a risk of frost. Monitor your plants or pipes. The icon turns off outside this range.
How to display maximum/minimum temperatures?
Press the MEM button once to display the recorded maximum temperature/humidity. Press again to display the minimum. 'MAX' or 'MIN' appears on the screen. To clear these values, press and hold MEM for 3 seconds.
How to change the backlight color?
Press the rainbow button to cycle through the 8 available colors: white, red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and purple. When operating on mains power, you can also adjust the brightness with the - button. The cycle button enables a gradual color change.
What to do if the station no longer displays outdoor temperature?
If the screen displays '--.-', the station does not receive the sensor signal. First check the outdoor sensor batteries. Then press and hold the CH button on the station for 3 seconds to force reception. The RF icon flashes. If the problem persists, move the sensor closer to the station (max range 60 m) and avoid obstacles. Reset the sensor by pressing the RESET button (T5).
