How to turn on and connect the JAM TWS ANC earbuds?

Take the earbuds out of the case, they turn on automatically. Otherwise, press for 4 seconds on the touch sensor of each earbud. To connect to your phone, enable Bluetooth and select "JAM TWS ANC". The LEDs flash blue and red during pairing, then solid blue once connected.

How to activate Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)?

When both earbuds are in use, tap three times on the touch sensor of the right earbud. You will hear a single tone to confirm activation. To deactivate, tap three times again (two tones). Note that ANC does not work in mono mode (single earbud).

What is the battery life of the earbuds and how long to charge them?

The earbuds provide up to 7 hours of playback without ANC. With the charging case, you get up to 28 hours without ANC and 24 hours with ANC. Charging the earbuds takes approximately 2 hours. The case charges via USB-C in about 2-3 hours.

Can I use a single earbud at a time?

Yes, you can use the right or left earbud independently. In mono mode, ANC is disabled. To pair a single earbud, take it out of the case and select "JAM TWS ANC" in Bluetooth settings.

How to skip to the next or previous track?

With both earbuds, tap twice on the touch sensor of the right earbud for the next track, and twice on the left earbud for the previous track. In mono mode, tap twice on the earbud in use for the next track (previous not available).

Are the earbuds water-resistant?

The manual does not mention any waterproof certification. It is advised not to immerse the earbuds or case in water. Avoid exposure to rain or excessive sweat. Clean with a dry cloth.

How to reset the earbuds and forget previous Bluetooth devices?

Remove the earbuds from the case, then tap 5 times quickly on the touch sensor of each earbud. You will hear a tone and the left earbud will flash red and blue. Then, forget "JAM TWS ANC" in your device's Bluetooth settings.

What to do if an earbud won't connect or charge?

Make sure the earbuds are properly aligned on the contacts of the case. If the red light does not turn on, adjust their position. If the problem persists, try resetting the earbuds (tap 5 times). Also check that the case is charged.

How to activate the voice assistant?

With both earbuds, tap three times on the touch sensor of the left earbud. In mono mode, tap three times on the earbud in use. Your phone's voice assistant (Siri, Google Assistant) should then activate.

What is the product warranty?

JAM offers a limited one-year warranty for the US and Canada, and a two-year warranty for the UK and Europe, from the date of purchase. It covers defects in materials and workmanship, but not damage caused by misuse.

SET UP

To charge your earbuds, place them into the portable case. The red LEDs on the earbuds show that they are charging. If the red LEDs do not appear when placed in the case, adjust the earbuds to make sure they are in line with the charging contacts. When fully charged, the LEDs will shut off. It will take approximately 2 hours to charge.

CHARGING YOUR PORTABLE CASE

Plug the small end of the USB cable into the USB-C port located on the back of the case. The LEDs on the case will flash white while charging. When the portable case is fully charged, the four LED lights will remain on. Once the USB cord is unplugged, the lights will turn off.

Your earbuds will automatically turn on when taken out of the portable charging case. If you need to turn them on manually, you can press and hold the touch sensor for 4 seconds on both earbuds.

STEP 2 - CONNECTING THE EARBUDS TO EACH OTHER

When you take the earbuds out of their case, they will automatically sync to each other. The LED lights on the left earbud will flash blue and red alternatively. You will also hear a series of tones. Your earbuds are now in pairing mode and searching for a Bluetooth® device to connect to.

STEP 3 - CONNECTING TO A DEVICE

Enable Bluetooth® on your device. From the Bluetooth menu, select "JAM TWS ANC". When the device and TWS ANC are connected, you will hear a tone and the LEDs on the earbuds will slow flash blue. This means the pairing is complete.

To disconnect from all connected devices and reset pairing, remove both earbuds from the charging case to power them on (or power them on manually). Then, tap the touch sensor on either earbud quickly 5 times. You will hear the pairing tone and the LEDs on the left earbud will flash red and blue. This means they are disconnected and ready to pair to a Bluetooth device.

STEP 4 - USING ANC

When the JAM TWS ANC Earbuds are powered on, the ANC is turned off. To turn on the ANC, tap the touch sensor on the right earbud three times. You will hear a single tone; which means the ANC is activated. To turn off the ANC, tap the touch sensor on the right earbud three times again. You will hear two tones which means the ANC is deactivated.

NOTE: The ANC feature cannot be utilized when only using one earbud.

CONNECT 1 EARBUD

Use the left or the right earbud independently. This is a great option if you want to hear your surroundings as well as your music.

STEP 1 - TURNING ON THE EARBUD

Your earbud will automatically turn on when taken out of the portable charging case. If you need to turn it on manually, you can press and hold the touch sensor for 4 seconds on the earbud.

STEP 2 - PAIRING MODE

Once a single earbud is taken out of the case or manually turned on, it should enter into pairing mode. The LED will flash red and blue and you will hear a series of tones. This will indicate your earbud is in pairing mode. If it does not enter pairing mode automatically, place the earbud back in the charging case for 2 seconds and then remove it again to enter pairing mode.

To turn off your earbuds, place your earbuds back in case or press and hold the touch sensors on both earbuds for 4 seconds.

STEP 3 - CONNECTING TO A DEVICE

Enable Bluetooth on your device. From the Bluetooth menu, select "JAM TWS ANC". When the device and JAM TWS ANC are connected, you will hear a tone and LED will slow flash blue. This means the pairing is complete.

USING YOUR PORTABLE CHARGING CASE

With a full charge, the portable charging case will give your earbuds 18–21 extra hours providing you up to 28 hours total of listening time with Bluetooth only, or up to 24 hours with ANC and Bluetooth.

TROUBLESHOOTING

1. Remove the earbuds from the charging case.
2. Quickly tap the touch sensor on both earbuds 5 times. This will disconnect them from your device. Place them back in the charging case.

3. Forget the JAM TWS ANC earbuds on your Bluetooth® device. Please view the device instruction manual for instructions on how to forget a device.

4. Turn off Bluetooth on your device.

5. Remove both earbuds from the charging case.

6. Earbuds will automatically go into pairing mode once they are taken out of the case. The LEDs on the left earbud will flash red and blue alternatively.

7. Turn on Bluetooth on your device.

8. Pair to "JAM TWS ANC".

9. Earbuds not disconnecting from your device? The TWS ANC Earbuds may automatically connect to your device if put in a charging case that has no battery left. For the best experience, periodically charge the case to ensure it always has battery life.

MUSIC

Play/Pause	Press either touch sensor button once.
Forward track	If using both earbuds, tap the touch sensor twice on the right earbud. If using one earbud, tap the touch sensor twice of the earbud in use.
Back track	If using both earbuds, tap the touch sensor twice on the left earbud. Note that back track does not function when using only one earbud.

Clear all Bluetooth connections	Remove earbuds from case. Tap the touch sensor on either earbud quickly 5 times. You will hear the pairing tone and the LEDs on the left earbud will flash red and blue. The earbuds are now ready to pair.
ANC on	If using both earbuds, tap the touch sensor on the right earbud 3 times (you will hear a single tone).
ANC off	If using both earbuds, tap the touch sensor on the right earbud 3 times (you will hear two tones).NOTE: ANC does not work when only using one earbud.

The Warranty

JAM sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and workmanship under normal use and service. In the unlikely event that your JAM product proves to be faulty within 1 year from the date of purchase due to workmanship or materials only, we will replace it at our own expense, subject to the terms and conditions of this guarantee. The warranty period is limited to 3 months from the date of purchase for products used commercially/professionally.

Terms and Conditions:

In addition to the rights and remedies that you have under the Australian Consumer Law, Consumer Guarantees Act of New Zealand or any other applicable law and without excluding such rights and remedies warranty against defects:

1. The Goods are designed to withstand the rigors of normal household use and are manufactured to the highest standards using the highest quality components. Whilst unlikely, if during the first 12 months (3 months commercial use) from their date of purchase from the Supplier (Warranty Period), the Goods prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials and none of your statutory rights or remedies apply, we will replace the Goods, subject to the terms and conditions of this warranty.

2. We do not have to replace the Goods under this Additional Warranty if the Goods have been damaged due to misuse or

abuse, accident, the attachment of any unauthorised accessory, alteration to the product, improper installation, unauthorised repairs or modifications, improper use of electrical/power supply, loss of power, malfunction, or damage of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer's recommended maintenance, transportation damage, theft, neglect, vandalism, environmental conditions, or any other conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of JAM.

1. This Warranty does not extend to the purchase of used, repaired, or secondhand products, or to products not imported or supplied by HoMedics Australia Pty Ltd, including but not limited to those sold on offshore internet auction sites.

3. Even when we do not have to replace the Goods, we may decide to do so anyway. In some cases, we may decide to substitute the Goods with a similar alternative product of our choosing. All such decisions are at our absolute discretion.
4. All such replaced or substituted Goods continue to receive the benefit of this Additional Warranty for the time remaining on the original Warranty Period (or 3 months, whichever is the longest).
5. This Additional Warranty does not cover items damaged by normal wear and tear, including but not limited to chips, scratches, abrasions, discolouration, and other minor defects, where the damage has negligible effect on the operation or performance of the Goods.
