The plasma cutter nozzle and electrode set is a spare part and wear part set, suitable for Parkside plasma cutters of types PPS 40 A1 and PPS 40 B2.

The parts in this set must be fitted and used in accordance with the operating instructions for the main device. Use on any device which is not given here is not permitted.

- Parts description

PLEASE NOTE!

▶ After unpacking the product, please check that all of the package contents are present and that the accessory is in perfect condition. Do not use the accessory if it is defective.

NOTE:

- Safety instructions

It is essential that you observe the safety instructions of your plasma cutter! It is essential that before use, you read the operating instructions for your plasma cutter as well as these operating instructions in full.

Check the components for damage before fitting into the plasma cutter.

Damaged components must not be used. It is essential that you disconnect the plasma cutter from the mains before fitting the spare parts and observe all safety instructions in the operating instructions of your plasma cutter.

- Installing the spare parts

The consumable parts contained in this set are the electrode 8d, diffuser 8e and the torch sleeve 8c. They can be replaced once the nozzle clamping sleeve 8b has been unscrewed.
- The electrode must be replaced if there is a crater of approximately 1.5 mm depth in the centre.

Attention: To unscrew the electrode, do not apply irregular pressure, gradually increase pressure until the thread is released. The new electrode must be screwed into its bracket and blocked but not tightened up to the stop.

The torch sleeve 8c must be placed if the central bore is damaged or if it has expanded in comparison to a drilling of a new nozzle. If the electrode 8d or the torch sleeve 8c are replaced too late, this can result in an overheating of the parts. This can reduce the lift cycle of the diffuser 8e.

Once replaced, make sure the nozzle clamping sleeve 8b is tightened sufficiently.

Attention: The nozzle clamping sleeve 8b must only be screwed on to the plasma torch 8, once it has been equipped with the electrode 8d, diffuser 8e and torch sleeve 8c.

Note: If these parts are missing, device may malfunction and it create a hazard for the operating channel.
