Switch the appliance off prior to replacing nozzle and activate hand spray gun until device is pressureless. Secure the trigger gun by pulling out and engaging the safety latch. Replacing the nozzle. DANGER Scalding danger! DANGER Follow the safety instructions of the manu- facturer of the cold water high-pressure cleaner! DANGER The water in the once-through boiler may contain germs after longer interruptions of operation lasting several days. Hence, spray the stale water into the drain for a few seconds first when using it in the food sec- tor. Switch the power switch of the hot wa- ter generator to "1/ON". Switch on the cold water high-pressure cleaner as described in the manufactur- er's operating instructions. When the amount of water flowing through is sufficient, the burner will start automatically. Unlock the trigger gun by pushing in and engaging the safety latch. When activating the hand spray gun the cold water high-pressure cleaner switches on. Perform the cleaning operation. Note: To prevent damage due to too much pressure, always position high pressure ray first from a greater distance towards object to be cleaned. DANGER Danger of scalding from hot water! After op- eration with hot water, the device must be operated with opened handgun with cold water for at least two minutes. Switch the power switch of the hot wa- ter generator to "0/OFF". Operate the device with opened hand- gun with cold water for at least two min- utes. Shut off water supply. Switch off the cold water high-pressure cleaner as described in the manufactur- er's operating instructions. Actuate the trigger gun until the cold water high-pressure cleaner and hot water generator are depressurised. Secure the trigger gun by pulling out and engaging the safety latch. Power connection Operation Replace the nozzle Turning on the Appliance Cleaning Turn off the appliance 15EN– 5 Remove the high-pressure hose from the high-pressure input. Pull main plug out of socket with dry hands only. Insert the trigger gun in the holder on the frame together with the spray lance. Roll up high pressure hose and electri- cal conduit and hang them into the re- spective holders. Note: Do not twist high pressure hose and electrical conduit. For longer work breaks or if a frost free stor- age is not possible: Drain water. Flush device with anti-freeze agent. (See "Care and maintenance".) 몇 CAUTION Risk of personal injury or damage! Consid- er the weight of the appliance when storing it. ATTENTION Protect the trigger from damage during transport. 몇 CAUTION Risk of personal injury or damage! Mind the weight of the appliance during transport. When transporting in vehicles, secure the appliance according to the guide- lines from slipping and tipping over. DANGER Risk of injury by inadvertent start-up of ap- pliance and electric shock. Prior to all work on the appliance, switch off the appliance and pull the power plug. Switch the device off (see "Operation"). Allow device to cool down. Your Kärcher vender will inform you about the performance of a periodic safety inspection resp. signing of a maintenance contract. Check fuel sieve, clean if necessary. Check fuel pre-filter, clean if necessary. Check fuel filter, clean if necessary. Check sieve in the water shortage safe guard, clean if necessary. Decalcify appliance. Have the maintenance of the device performed by the customer service. Carry out maintenance work on the cold water high-pressure cleaner as directed in the manufacturer's operating instructions. Knock the dirt off of the fuel sieve. Do not let the fuel enter the environment. Pull the rubber cover out of the fuel tank. Clean fuel pre-filter. Reinsert the rubber cover. Dismantle the fuel filter. Clean fuel filter. Reassemble the fuel filter. Remove the fastening clamp and pull out the hose (soft damping system). Take out sieve. Note: If necessary turn in screw M8 appr. 5 mm inwards and therewith pull out sieve. Clean sieve in water. Push sieve inwards. Slide the hose adapter all the way into the lack of water fuse and secure it with a fastening clamp. Storing the Appliance Shutdown Storage Transport Care and maintenance Maintenance intervals Weekly Monthly Every 500 operating hours, at least annually Maintenance Works Cold water high-pressure cleaner Clean the fuel sieve Cleaning fuel pre-filter Cleaning fuel filter Clean sieve in the water shortage safe guard 16 EN– 6 Pull the rubber cover out of the fuel tank. Unscrew the retaining plate. Remove the fuel tank. Rinse out the fuel tank. Refit and assemble the fuel tank. If deposits accumulate in the pipelines, this increases the flow resistance and the motor load of the cold water high-pressure clean- er becomes too great. DANGER Risk of explosion due to combustible gas- es! Smoking strictly prohibited during de- calcification. Ensure proper ventilation. DANGER Risk of burns injury on account of acid! Wear protective glasses and protective gloves. Procedure: According to statutory requirements, only tested and approved boiler decrusting agents may be used. – RM 100 (Order No. 6.287-008) dis- solves chalk and simple compounds of chalk and detergents residues. – RM 101 (Order No. 6.287-013) dis- solves the deposits that cannot be dis- solved using RM 100. Fill a 20 litre container with 15 l water. Add one litre of boiler decrusting agent. Connect the water hose directly to the pump head of the cold water high-pres- sure cleaner and hang the free end into the container. Place the spray lance connected to the hot water generator in the container without the nozzle. Switch on the cold water high-pressure cleaner as described in the manufactur- er's operating instructions. Open the hand-spray gun and do not close it during the decalcification pro- cess. Switch the cold water high-pressure cleaner off and allow it to stand for at least 2 hours. The trigger gun must re- main open. Once this time has elapsed, pump out the decrusting agent of the cold water high-pressure cleaner and hot water generator without spray lance and hand spray gun. ATTENTION Risk of damage! Freezing water in the ap- pliance can destroy parts of the appliance. – Store the appliance in a heated room during winter or empty it. During longer breaks in operation, it is advisable to pump in anti-frost agents into the appli- ance. – If it is not possible to store frost free, shut down device. Drain water: Unscrew the high-pressure hoses from the high-pressure input and high-pres- sure outlet. Flush appliance with anti-freeze agent: Note: Observe handling instructions of the anti-freeze agent manufacturer. Rinse the cold water high-pressure cleaner and hot water generator (burner off) thoroughly with a commercially available anti-frost agent. A certain corrosion protection is achieved with this as well. DANGER Risk of injury by inadvertent start-up of ap- pliance and electric shock.
