USER MANUAL CH107914 Emerio
1. Read and save these instructions. Attention: pictures in
the IM are for reference only.
2. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
3. Children shall not play with the appliance.
4. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
5. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless
continuously supervised.
6. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall
only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
7. CAUTION — Some parts of this product can become
very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.- 59 -

manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

location to another.

3. Handle (on both sides)
ASSEMBLY Take the appliance out of the packaging and remove the protective bag. Push the two plastic feet onto the bottom of the unit. Fix them into the slot firmly. Place the appliance at your desired location. Keep all objects at least 1 meter from the front and sides of the unit. NOTE: this appliance cannot be mounted on the wall.
OPERATION OF THE HEATER
Note: When the heater is turned on for the first time, or when they are turned on after a longer period of storage, it is normal that the heaters may emit some smell and fumes. This will disappear when the heater has been on a short while. Insert the plug to the power supply. Turn on the power & thermostat control switch to choose the setting: I = 750W, II = 1250W, III = 2000W. This appliance will keep working after the switch is rotated to the setting “I”, “II”, or “III”. If you rotate the power & thermostat control switch over the setting “III”, the thermostat will be switched on. The appliance will automatically maintain the set temperature. To turn off the unit, rotate the power & thermostat control switch back to “0”. After use, unplug it from socket. NOTE: this appliance is equipped with a turbo function. You can turn it on by pressing the turbo switch on the side of the appliance to reinforce the air convection. Caution: The heater will remain hot for some time after it is turned off. Handle with care. OVERHEAT PROTECTION This heater is protected with an overheat protection that switches off the appliance automatically in case of overheat, e.g. due to the total or partial obstruction of the grids. In this case, unplug the appliance, wait about 30 minutes for it to cool and remove the object which is obstructing the grids. Then switch it back on- 62 - as described above. The appliance should operate normally. Should the problem persist, please contact the nearest customer service. TIP-OVER PROTECTION This heater is protected with a safety switch that turns off the appliance automatically when the heater falls over, or is at an excessive angle from the horizontal. This helps prevent accidents, and the heater will resume operation when it is put back upright.
Always un-plug the heater from the wall socket and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning. Clean the outside of the heater by wiping with a damp cloth and with a dry cloth. Do not use any detergents or abrasives and do not allow any water to penetrate the heater.
When the heater is not used for long time it should be protected from dust and stored in a clean dry place.
