How to use the device for the first time?

Plug in the device. Open the lid, place one end of the film on the heating strip, close and lock the lid. Press the Seal only button to create a bag. Remove the bag, add food, place the open end on the strip, close and press Vacuum and Seal I or II depending on the food.

What is the difference between the Vacuum and Seal I and II buttons?

Button I is for soft and delicate foods (gentle operation). Button II is for normal vacuum sealing and sealing.

How to stop the ongoing operation?

Press the Cancel button to immediately interrupt vacuuming or sealing.

What type of bag or plastic film should I use?

Use an embossed plastic bag or film with a thickness between 0.2 and 0.29 mm. The maximum film width is 30 cm.

Why is the bag not sealing properly?

Check that the bag is not folded or incorrectly positioned on the heating strip, that the lid is properly locked, that the heating strip is not damaged, and that there are no food residues on the sealing line.

What to do if vacuuming does not work?

Check that the bag is correctly positioned on the suction area, that it is not folded or torn, that there is not too much food, that the suction opening is not blocked, that you are using a special bag, that the seals are in good condition, and that you respect a 40-second interval between two uses.

Can I vacuum seal liquid foods?

Liquid foods should not be vacuum sealed, they can only be sealed. When sealing, place the device higher than the food.

How to pack foods with sharp parts?

First wrap the sharp parts in regular plastic film before placing them in the vacuum bag to avoid piercing the bag.

Can I use vacuum bags in the microwave?

Yes, but first pierce the plastic bag. Suitable for microwave defrosting at a maximum temperature of 70 °C.

How to clean the device?

Unplug the device and let it cool completely. Clean it with a soft damp cloth. Leave the lid unlocked after cleaning.

In case of damage caused by user failing to follow the instructions in this manual the warranty will be void. The manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages caused by failure to follow the manual, a negligent use or use not in accordance with the requirements of this manual.

1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
2. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
3. Before inserting the plug into the mains socket, please check that the voltage and frequency comply with the specifications on the rating label.
4. If an extension cord is used it must be suited to the power consumption of the appliance, otherwise overheating of the extension cord and/or plug may occur. There is a potential risk of injuries from tripping over the extension cord. Be careful to avoid dangerous situations.

OPERATION

1. A roll of plastic film is provided with the appliance. Cut a length of the plastic film according to the size of the food that need to be packed (6cm longer than the food).

The appliance has an "integrated foil cutter" at the back side, you can use it to cut the plastic film/foil which within 30cm width.

(1) Pull down the integrated foil cutter, place the plastic film in place like below picture A;
(2) Close the integrated foil cutter, and then push the cutter (C) to cut the film. (Fig. B)

1. Plug the appliance into a properly installed mains socket.
2. Open the cover, put one side of the plastic film that needs to be sealed onto the heating tape. (See fig. 1)

1. Close the cover, and press the two ends of the cover (where marked with icon "") to lock it. Two "click" sounds will be heard.

2. Press the "seal only" button. The red light illuminates and the appliance begins to seal, the sealing time is about 10 seconds. When ready, the red light goes out. The appliance is in a standby mode now.

3. Press the unlock button in the both sides, open the cover and take the plastic film out. Now it's a plastic bag.

4. Put the food in the plastic bag.

5. Open the cover again, put the open end of the bag onto the heating tape, and lock the cover.

6. Press the "Vacuum-package and seal I" or "Vacuum-package and seal II" button. The green light illuminates. The vacuum function is started. When it reaches a certain vacuum degree, the appliance will automatically convert to the seal function. At this time, the green light goes off and the red light illuminates. When the seal is ready, the red light goes off.

Select "Vacuum-package and seal I" to vacuum-package soft, sensitive items or food (soft vacuum-packaging).

Select the "Vacuum-package and seal II" function button for normal vacuum-packaging.

1. Press the unlock button in the both sides, open the cover and remove the complete vacuum-packed bag.

2. Wait at least 40 seconds before using the appliance again. Unplug the appliance after use.

Tips

If you want to stop running, please press the "cancel" button.
- Use a plastic film or bag with emboss and 0.2 - 0.29 mm thickness.
- Try to keep the bag smooth during the vacuum sealing process. Wrinkles in the bag can keep residual air in the bag and cause food spoilage.
- Although the plastic material of the bags is quite strong, it can be punctured by sharp items. So if you are sealing foods with sharp edges (pasta, dried fruits, etc.), use some common plastic wrap before vacuum sealing. This will protect the bag from being punctured.
- If the vacuum pump continues to run. Press the "cancel" button to make it stop. Check if the condition of the sealed seal is good. Then place the open end of the bag smoothly and correctly, and lock the cover. Start the appliance again.

Attention

1. To pack the food containing little water

The water will flow into the interior of the appliance, resulting in failure. So please use a kitchen towel to remove the moisture, or use a plastic wrap or a disposable plastic wrap to carry out vacuum packaging. Slight frozen state will facilitate the vacuum packaging.

1. To pack powder food

The powder may be inhaled. Before the vacuum packaging, please put it into a disposable plastic bag.

1. To pack fruits and vegetables

It is not recommended to vacuum fruits and vegetables which are fragile or with high amount of water.

When vacuum packed, the food will be pressured to generate extra water and gas to make the bag bulged.

1. To pack the liquid food

It must not be vacuum packed, only need to be sealed.

When sealing liquid food, place the appliance higher than the food.

Storage

For vacuum-packed food (except dehydrated food), frozen storage is advised.

For packaged vegetables, please eat in 2 weeks, to avoid rot.

Microwave

If you want to put the vacuum-packed food in a microwave, punch a hole in the plastic bag first. SUITABLE FOR THAWING IN THE MICROWAVE TO MAX. 70^ C.

CLEANING

1. Unplug the appliance. Always let the appliance cool off completely before you clean it.
2. Wipe the appliance with a soft damp cloth. It should be kept as its cover unlocked.

After vacuum packaging, plastic bags gradually leak	1. For sharp objects, please use some common plastic wrap before vacuum packaging. 2. If the plastic bag is too thin, the air may penetrate the bag. So please use a bag with emboss and 0.2-0.29mm thickness. 3. The plastic bag containing food (itself exuding gas), might seem like vacuum disappears.
