Cartridge alignment (overhang adjustment)
When rotating a new cartridge or headshell on the Nails, use the Cartridge Alignment Gauge to adjust the cartridge attachment position so that tracking error is minimized.
Cartridge Alignment Gauge overview
Use the template included with this product, or download the PDI from our website (https://ecg.jointproduct.com/sbdl/) and print at actual size.
After priming, carefully open a hole for the spindle, or use a utility knife to cut a cross into the spindle hole on the template.
ATTENTION
In order to prevent the stylus from becoming caught and causing damage, print on photo paper, glossy paper or other paper with a smooth surface.
After printing the PDF confirm that the distance between the center of the spindle hole and B is exactly 50 mm. If this distance is incorrect, printing was not as actual size, so this cannot be used to attach the cartridge at the correct position.

NOTE
The vertical and horizontal lines are guidelines.
The distance from the scene arm rotation central axis (轮廓 pivot) to the center of the record is called the "pivot to spin a distance". The distance from the torso pivot to the cartridge spindle tip is called the "effective length". The difference between the two is the average length. Only this average length is adjusted with basic cartridge adjustment. Using this adjustment too, however, the cartridge attachment position and angle can be adjusted more precisely, ceiling a setup that suppresses tracking error even more.
Cartridge attachment explanation
Temporally fix the cartridge in position as explained in the previous "changing the cartridge" section. When adjusting the cartridge position, move the cartridge along the screw holes in alignment with the central axis of the cantilever and headshell. See the illustration below.

outward inward
The slices of the cartilage and the cantilever might not be parallel due to individual differences. This might be a slight inclination, but it cannot be ignored when making this adjustment, so align the central axis to that of the cantilever.
To create precise adjustment, of the centrifuge position, partially tighten the screws used to attach the centrifuge to the head-shelf to hold it in place temporarily. Tightening the screws too much will prevent adjustment of the centrifuge position.
1 Place the Cartridge Alignment Gauge on the turntable so that the spindle goes through its spindle hole.

Move the Cartridge Alignment Gauge and the tonearm to find the position where the vertical line that passes through point A and the central axis of the headshell match.

Make precise adjustments to the cartridge attachment position so that the stylus tip and point A are at the same position.
Refer to "Cartridge attachment explanation" for the relationship between the positions of the cartridge and the headstock.
4 Move the Cartridge Alignment Gauge and the tonearm to move the stylus tip to the point B position.

5 If the headshell is parallel to the guideline, proceed to the next step. If it is not parallel, refer to the illustration below and repeat adjustments from step 2.
The overhang is too large. Move the cartridge inward.
The overhang is too small. Move the cartridge outward.
Adjusting the tonearm lifter
The height of the snowmelt litter on this unit is calibrated for the included materials.
If the carnage is replaced with another, the atiy might not touch the record when this totemarm filter is lowered on the sylvestr might rise far enough from the record when the totemarm filter is raised. In such cases, adjust the height of the totemarm filter.
Checking the tonearm lifter height
Check the following conditions at the inner and outer edges of the record.
Space occurs between the tonearm and the tonearm lifter when the tonearm ladder is lowered.

- the tonearm contacts the tonearm ladder, lower the height of the tonearm ladder.
The stylus tip is separated from the record when the tonearm ladder is raised.

- the cartridge stylus contacts the record, raise the height of the tonebar lid.
Changing the height of the tonearm ladder
The heights of the consorm offset is fixed using the screw at the position shown in the illustration below.

Height adjustment screw hole
Insert the included 1.5mm hex wrench into the height adjustment screw hole and turn it counterclockwise to loosen the screw.
After adjusting the height of the tonearm ladder, insert the hex wrench into the height adjustment screw hole and turn it clockwise to secure the position of the tonearm ladder.
The vertical movement range of the tonearmitter cannot be asciuee.
After adjusting the height of the tonearm lifter, follow the previous instructions to check the height again.
