- In Group 1 (9-18 kg) the seat of the car seat can be reclined in 4 different positions, from the vertical position to the most reclined one.
1.ISOFIX INSTALLATION

STEP 1: Press the adjustment handle located under the front of the car seat and, holding it down, pull or push the seat forwards or backwards. Release the handle when the seat is in the desired position and make sure that it is locked correctly; you will hear a "click" when the seat has attached.

STEP 2: As shown in the figure, pull the ISOFIX lever to extend the ISOFIX connectors.

STEP 3: As shown in the figure, to retract the ISOFIX connectors, pull the red handle outwards, at the same time using your other hand to push the connectors towards the base, in the direction of the arrow.

STEP 4: As shown in the figure, before ISOFIX installation, open the rear compartment and remove the Top Tether belt. Temporarily place the Top Tether tightness adjuster on the headrest.
INSTALLATION IN THE VEHICLE

If your car does not have standard ISOFIX connector guides, insert those supplied with the car seat with the recess facing upwards in the two ISOFIX anchoring points in the car.
SUGGESTION: The ISOFIX anchoring points are located between the seat and the backrest of the passenger seat.

STEP 5: Align the ISOFIX connectors with the anchoring points fixed to the vehicle passenger seat and press until you hear a "click".
The indicator on both brackets will turn green, confirming that they have attached.
Check that both brackets are attached correctly. Shake the car seat to be sure it is correctly fixed in place.
To release the ISOFIX connectors, press down the red lever: the indicator on both brackets will turn red, indicating that the connectors have been released from the anchoring points.

STEP 6: Push the car seat against the passenger seat, making sure that both ISOFIX connectors are extended in the same position.

STEP 1: Extend the belt with the "Top Tether" carabiner and hook it to the anchoring point indicated in the vehicle user manual. Check for this icon inside the passenger compartment.

STEP 2: Tighten the Top Tether belt until the indicator turns green (fig. 3). This indicates that the belt is tightened correctly. The Top Tether belt must pass over the backrest of the vehicle passenger seat, it must never pass over the headrest.
If necessary, lift up or remove the headrest from the passenger seat.
To release the Top Tether belt, press the button on the Top Tether belt-tightening adjuster and loosen the belt to reduce the tension. Unhook the belt anchoring carabiner.

When using the 5-point harness, the headrest must be adjusted so that there is 1 finger (1 cm) gap between the shoulder straps and the top of the shoulders. IMPORTANT: Loosen the shoulder straps before adjusting the headrest (for more details see "Step 1: Loosening the harness"). Adjusting the straps to a position lower or higher than the child's shoulders can compromise your child's safety.

STEP 5: Tightening the harness: Pull the harness adjustment strap so as to tighten it properly against the body of the child. The harness is correctly tightened when the gap between the harness and the child is no greater than the thickness of your finger (1 cm).
NOTE: check that the buckle is secured by tugging the shoulder and waist straps.
To attach the buckle: Hold together the central buckle tabs (fig. 1-2) and insert them in the special slot inside the harness buckle (fig. 2). A "click" will indicate that it has attached correctly (fig. 3). NOTE: to attach the buckle, it is necessary to insert both tabs.
To release the buckle: Press the red button to remove the tabs from the central buckle.

STEP 6: To better adapt to the growth of the child, the crotch strap has two adjustments for usage. Before adjusting, loosen the 5-point seat belt and release the buckle. Rotate the crotch strap as shown in figure 2 and move it to the new Level 1 (fig. 1) or Level 2 (fig. 3) position. Rotate the strap sideways to lock it in the chosen slot (fig. 1 / fig. 2). Make sure that it is correctly locked in place.
USING THE CAR SEAT

STEP 7: Adjusting the height of the headrest and the (harness) straps - Group 1 (from 9 to 18kg ).
NOTES: Loosen the shoulder straps before adjusting the headrest (for more details see "Step 1: Loosening the harness"). To adjust the chest straps and the headrest into the correct position, pull out the handle on the headrest and, keeping it pulled, raise or lower the headrest, adjusting it according to the child's height.
In group 1, there are 6 headrest adjustment levels. In groups 2 and 3, there are 4 headrest adjustment levels.

IMPORTANT: The headrest must be adjusted so that there is a one or two-finger gap between it and the child's shoulders.

Red line beyond the headrest height adjustment limit for Group 1
Headrest height adjustment reference limit for Group 1 Red line below the headrest height adjustment limit for Group 1

USING THE CAR SEAT

STEP7: As shown in fig. 7, rotate the crotch strap (point 1) and remove it from the seat by pulling out the lower tip with a metal ring from the slot (point 2).

STEP8: As shown in figure 8, to remove the harness from the car seat: Using a small tool, remove the metal ring from its slot on the bottom of the seat (1) and pull the belt through from the end with a metal ring (2). Remove the metal ring from the end of the strap (3) and pull out the belt (4) from the inside of the seat. Reinsert the metal ring at the end of the strap (5). Repeat this process also on the second belt.

STEP 9: As shown in figure 9, open the rear compartment door and insert the Top Tether belt. Close the compartment.

STEP 10: Car seat after removing the 5-point harness.
IMPORTANT: HARNESSE ASSEMBLY
