Intended use The device and its attachments are only suitable for the massage treatment of the neck, shoulder, back (except spine), arm, buttock and leg muscles. Do not use the device directly on bones. A second person may be necessary to massage difficult-to-access areas (for example the back). The device and attachments are NOT intended for use on the head (including larynx), on the face or in the genital area. Only use the device with the attachments included. It is not intended for use in hospitals or for commercial use. In particular, it must not be used to massage babies, infants, vulnerable persons or animals. Using the ap- pliance for purposes other than described above or any product modification is prohibited and may result in injuries and/or product damage. Do not use the device - on animals, - on skin that has been affected by illness or is near an injury in the area of the body that is to be massaged (e.g. slipped disc, open wound), - under any circumstances for massaging around the heart if you have a heart pacemaker. If this is the case, you should also ask your doctor before using it in other areas of the body, - ever on swollen, burned, in- flamed or injured parts of the body or areas of skin, - on cuts, capillaries, varicose veins, acne, couperose, herpes or other skin diseases, - during pregnancy, - on the head (including larynx), on the face or in the genital area, - ever while you are sleeping, - after taking medications or consuming alcohol (limited perception!), - in cars, - ever directly on the bones or spine, the arch of the foot or similar parts of the body. Before using the device, consult your doctor, especially - if you suffer from a serious illness, - if you have a pacemaker, im- plant or other medical device, - if you are suffering from throm- bosis, - if you have diabetes, - if you suffer from pains with an undiagnosed cause. This device is only intended for use in a household/private environment, not for commercial purposes. This device may be used by older children aged 8 years and up, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca- pacities, or lacking experience and knowledge, so long as they are supervised or instructed on the safe use of the device and understand the associated risks. Never allow children to play with this device. There is a risk of injury. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision. There is a risk of injury. Keep children away from the attachments. There is a risk of suffocation! Never operate the device16 GB/IE - unsupervised, in particular if children are nearby, - under a cover, for example a quilt, pillow etc., - near petrol or other easily flammable substances, - unless in a dry indoor environ- ment (e.g. never in the bath, sauna). Never use the device near baths, washbasins, showers or other vessels containing water or other liquids - risk of electric shock! If the device falls into water, under no circumstances should you attempt to pick it up. Before use, ensure that the device and attachments have no visible damage. If in doubt, do not use and contact your retailer or the listed customer service address. Keep the device away from sharp or pointed objects. If the device has been dropped or shows other signs of damage from being dropped, it must not be used under any circumstances. Always switch the device off af- ter each use and before cleaning. Never use the device for longer than 10 minutes (risk of over- heating). Allow the device to cool for at least 15 minutes before operating it again. Do not insert any objects other than the supplied attachments into the device's opening. Be sure that moving parts can always move freely. Do not clamp or wedge any part of your body, particularly fingers, between the moving massage components or their brackets in the device. Only use the device with the supplied accompanying parts (attachments and mains adapter). Protect the device and attachments from impacts, dust, chemicals and strong temperature fluctuations and electromagnetic fields and keep them away from sources of heat (ovens, heating radiators). Under no circumstances should you attempt to repair the device yourself! Repairs to electronic devices may only be undertaken by specialists. Under no circumstances should you open or repair the device yourself, as otherwise proper function can no longer be guar- anteed. Improper repairs may result in considerable risks for the user. Please contact customer service or an authorised retailer for repairs. Failure to comply with this will void the warranty.17 GB/IE Always observe the information on start-up, cleaning and care, and storage. If you have additional questions on using our products, please contact our Customer Service Department. The user does not need to take any steps to set the product to 50 or 60 Hz. The product auto- matically sets itself to 50 or 60 Hz. Safety instructions for rechargeable batteries EXPLOSION HAZ- ARD! Never short-circuit and/or open rechargeable bat- teries. This could cause batteries to overheat, catch fire or explode. Never throw batteries into fire or water. Do not exert mechanical strain on batteries. Risk of rechargeable battery leakage Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators/direct sunlight. If rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact between skin, eyes and mucous membranes and the chemicals! Flush out the affected areas immediately with clean water and seek medical attention! WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Rechargeable batteries that have leaked or become dam- aged can cause burns upon contact with the skin. Therefore wear suitable protective gloves in this case. This device features a built-in rechargeable battery which cannot be replaced by the user. Contact the manufacturer or their customer service in the event of a defect of any kind. When dis- posing of the product, you must indicate that this device contains a rechargeable battery. Before use Remove all packaging material from the device. Before you operate the device for the first time, you must first charge it for at least 3 ½ hours. Proceed as described in the following chapter.18 GB/IE Charging the device Only connect the included mains adapter
to the device. The connection

The LED for the relevant current battery charge level flashes during the charging process. Left LED flashes = low battery charge level (approx. 15‒30 %) Middle LED flashes = medium battery charge level (approx. 30‒70 %) Right LED flashes = high battery charge level (approx. 70‒100 %) Once the device is fully charged, all three LEDs on the battery charge level display
will be permanently lit. A full battery charge is enough for approx. 4 hours of operation, depending on the chosen intensity level. Note: If, during operation, the left LED of the battery charge level display
starts to flash, the device must be charged, as otherwise it will automatically switch off. Initial use General application information The massage must always feel comfortable. The appearance of light haematoma is a positive effect of treatment and quite likely, as circulation can be promoted in a targeted way by applying the device. Isolated erythema may also occur. If you develop excessive skin irritation, discontinue the application of the device and consult a doctor. Depending on the extent of the muscle tension, an application duration of approx. 10 minutes is recommended for the desired area (neck, shoulder, back, arms, buttocks and legs). Choosing/changing the attachment (see Fig. B) Choose the suitable attachment before you begin massaging: Spherical head
: best suited for small sections of muscles and muscle groups (incl. upper arm) Flat head
: best suited for large areas on the whole body (incl. thigh) Spiral head
: best suited for deep muscle tis- sue and targeted, selective massaging (incl. on the sole of the foot) U-shaped head
: best suited to deep muscle tissue in the lower back area (except spine) or the Achilles tendon Press the desired attachment

Switching the device on and off/changing the intensity level Note: The device has an automatic switch-off. This means that the device will automatically switch off after an application of approx. 10 minutes. Allow the device to cool for at least 15 minutes before operating it again. Slide the ON/OFF switch
on the underside of the handle
to the “ON“ position. The LEDs on the battery charge level display
will begin to light up. Press the ON/OFF button
to switch the device on. The left LED of the intensity level dis- play
starts to light up. The massage starts at intensity level 1. To change between the five intensity levels, briefly press the ON/OFF button
Intensity level 1 (one LED lights up): approx. 1800 rpm/30 Hz Intensity level 2 (two LEDs light up): approx. 2100 rpm/35 Hz Intensity level 3 (three LEDs light up): approx. 2400 rpm/40 Hz Intensity level 4 (four LEDs light up): approx. 2700 rpm/45 Hz Intensity level 5 (five LEDs light up): approx. 3000 rpm/50 Hz If you press the ON/OFF button
again on the fifth intensity level, the device will switch off. The device is in standby operation. Slide the ON/OFF switch
