1. Remove all package materials from the appliance.

2. Thoroughly clean the parts that come into contact with food before you use the appliance for the first

time (see chapter “Cleaning”). Preparing for use

1. Let hot ingredients cool down before you process them (max. temperature 80ºC/175ºF).

2. Cut the ingredients into pieces that fit into the feeding tube. Make sure that the pieces are not too big

to prevent them from getting stuck in the tube.

3. Put the appliance on a flat and stable surface.

4. Put the bowl with a spout (11) on the body with a motor (13) and turn it clockwise until it clicks.

5. Place the disc holder (10) in the bowl with a spout.

6. Place the disc you want to use on the disc holder (8 or 9).

The cutting edges are very sharp. Do not touch them!

7. Put the lid with a feeding tube (2) on the bowl with a spout. Turn the lid clockwise until it clicks.

8. Put the power cord in the wall socket.

Using the appliance The grater discs are intended for slicking and grating vegetables such as cucumber, carrots, potatoes, leeks and onions and also certain kinds of cheese. The julienne noodles disc (5) is intended for cutting vegetables into thin sticks. The French fries disc is intended for cutting potatoes into fries. Never process hard ingredients like ice cubes with the appliance. The cutting edges are very sharp. Do not touch them!

1. Turn the control knob to position 1.

2. Put the ingredients in the feeding tube.

Precut the ingredients into smaller pieces that fit in the feeding tube. Fill the feeding tube evenly for the best results. If you want to grate cheese like Parmesan, Gouda or Emmental, it should be chilled to a refrigerator temperature.

3. Put the pusher (1) onto the ingredients in the feeding tube and push down lightly.

DO NOT operate the unit continuously for more than 2 minutes. Allow the motor to rest for 5 minutes before using again. After three cycles, allow the unit to cool completely before using again. 35ES 1000

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Never use scourers, abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids such as petrol or acetone to clean the appliance. Note: All parts except the body with a motor (13) can be cleaned in the dishwasher.

1. Switch off and unplug the appliance.

2. Turn the lid with feeding tube (2) anticlockwise and remove it from the bowl with spout (11).

3. Remove the disc (8 or 9) and the disc holder (10) out of the bowl with a spout.

4. Turn the bowl with a spout (11) anticlockwise and remove it from the body with a motor (13).

5. Clean the bowl, pusher, lid with a feeding tube, disc holder and discs using warm water with a washing-

up liquid or in the dishwasher. Clean the discs very carefully. The cutting edges are very sharp!

6. Wipe the body with a motor (13) with a moist cloth.

Danger: Never immerse the body with a motor in water, nor rinse it under the tap. Do not

clean it in the dishwasher either. Caution: If water or other liquids gets between the body (13) and the bowl with a spout, dry the body with a motor (13) thoroughly before next operation.

7. Wipe all parts of the appliance dry with a dry cloth.

3. Put the bowl with a spout (11) on the body (13) and turn it clockwise until it clicks.

4. Put the disc holder (10) into the bowl with a spout, put the lid with a feeding tube (2) on the bowl and

turn it clockwise until it clicks.

5. Put the pusher (1) in the feeding tube.

6. Wind the power cord up and fix it on the bottom side of the body with a motor (13).

7. Store the appliance in a safe and dry place, preferably on the working top in your kitchen.

  • to appearance and functional changes caused by exposure to sunlight, thermal radiation of water and other sediments,
  • if the service life of certain product parts expires, e.g. for accumulators, bulbs, etc. The warranty does not apply to any products and services provided along with the product (gifts, promotional articles, etc.). Filing acomplaint Acomplaint against aproduct defect must be led as soon as identied, yet no later than before the end of the warranty term. The customer must le aproduct complaint with the dealer from which they have purchased the product, or with any authorised service centre, alist of which is included in the product package, or available at www. my-concept.com. While ling aproduct complaint, the product must be duly cleaned and securely packed so as to prevent any damage during its transport to an authorised service centre, where relevant, unless the product is delivered in person. The customer must submit proof of having concluded apurchase contract for the product by producing the receipt. While ling their complaint, the customer must indicate the noted defect and identify the preferred complaint application method. Complaints processing As long as the noted defect may be removed, the user has the right to have the defect duly removed free of charge on atimely basis. Where such aprocedure is not reasonable with regard to the nature of the defect, the user may require to be supplied a new defect-free product (replacement), or, where the defect applies to apart of the product only, replacement of the part concerned.
