LED Torch with Power Bank Introduction We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the product. They contain important infor- mation concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instruc- tions for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.15 GB/IE Intended use The LED torch is not intended for use as indoor lighting and is only in- tended for private household use. The car adapter can be used in a normal car socket that provides the rating given under “Technical Data“. Any modifications to the product are considered improper use and may result in considerable hazards. The manufacturer assumes no liability for damages arising from improper use. This product is not intended for commercial use. Protect the product from moisture and humidity. Never immerse the product in water or other liquids! The light bulb is not replaceable. If the light bulb fails at the end of its life, the entire product must be replaced. Do not look into the LED from a close distance during operation. Do not look at the LED with an optical instrument (e.g. magnifier). The LED torch is only splash-proof with the cover

on it (IP44). Make sure before use that the required current corresponds to that stated in the chapter “Technical Data.“ Safety instructions for rechargeable batteries DANGER TO LIFE! Rechargeable batteries are not intended to be in the hands of children. If accidentally swal- lowed seek immediate medical attention! CAUTION! EXPLOSION HAZARD! Never throw batteries into fire or water! Do not exert mechanical strain on batteries! Do not use non-rechargeable batteries. Never short-circuit or open rechargeable batteries. Risk of property damage Only use the battery type specified! Please note the correct polarity when inserting the battery! This is shown inside the battery compartment! If necessary, clean the battery and device contacts before inserting the battery!17 GB/IE The discharge capacity can increase when charging with a lower amperage. Inserting / replacing the battery and charging Insert the battery

or replace it as depicted in Fig. C. To charge the battery insert the USB charging cable

with the appropriate end into the micro USB socket

and the other end into the USB charger adapter. When the battery

has fully charged, the LED indicator

under the micro USB socket

will flash green. Please note the required input voltage for your torch and the output voltage for your USB charger. Note: Do not charge the torch

during use. Initial use Push the ON / OFF button

per the chart below to switch the lighting mode: ON / OFF button 100 % brightness X 1 30 % brightness X 2 SOS signal X 3 OFF X 4 Focus the beam by twisting the focus ring

clockwise or anti- clockwise. Using the car adapter Connect the torch

Plug the car adapter

into the connection socket. The LED on the car adapter

will flash red. The torch

will charge. The LED will light up green as soon as the torch

has been fully charged.18 GB/IE Using the power bank You can also use the charged torch

as a power bank. You can therefore use it as another energy source for different devices with corresponding connectors such as smartphones. Please note the required input voltages for the connected devices. Connect your device cable to the USB socket

Cleaning and care Never use liquids or cleaning agents, as these will damage the product. Clean the product on the outside only with a soft, dry cloth. Disposal The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and fibreboard / 80–98: composite materials. The product and packaging materials are recyclable, dispose of it separately for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only. Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product. To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collec- tion points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority. Faulty or used batteries / rechargeable batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC and its amendments. Please return the batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or the product to the available collection points. Environmental damage through incorrect dis- posal of the batteries / rechargeable batteries!19 GB/IE Batteries / rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical sym- bols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used batteries / recharge- able batteries at a local collection point. Warranty and service Note: This product includes a 36 month warranty from the date of purchase. The product has been produced to the highest standards and thoroughly checked before dispatch. However, if defects in manu- facturing or material arise during the warranty period, please contact your retailer immediately. The warranty does not cover damages due to improper handling, failure to comply with the operating instructions, or manipulation by unauthorised persons. Most malfunctions are caused by incorrect op- eration. Therefore please first refer to the operating instructions if a malfunction occurs. Warranty services do not extend or restart the warranty period of 36 months.
