ATTENTION! RISK OF PROPERTY
DAMAGE! Do not block and overload the motor. Do not exert too much pressure on the juicing cone
2 a and 2 b combined or 2 b
Make sure that there are no foreign objects in the sieve
or the product when operating it. To avoid damaging the product, stop the juic- ing process immediately if the juicing cone
2 a and 2 b combined or 2 b ) does not spin easily or does not spin at all. Unplug the mains plug and check whether there are foreign objects inside the product. The product is equipped with anti-slip rubber feet
. As furniture surfaces are coated with a variety of varnishes and materials and treated with different care products, it cannot be ruled out that some of these substances may contain chemicals that will corrode and soften the rubber feet
. If necessary, place an anti-slip layer under the product. Place the product on a stable, level surface.30 GB/IE Never place the product on hot surfaces (i.e. hobs) or near sources of heat or open fires. Do not clean the base unit
in the dishwasher or using boiling water. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents. FOOD SAFE! This product has no adverse effect on taste or smell. Before first use Preparing the product for use Rinse the removable parts before the first use. Use the cable winder
to wind up the length of the power cord
that is not required and fix this into the intended groove on the back of the product. Plug the mains plug into a mains socket. Insert the drive shaft
into the drive shaft bracket
Attach the juice holder
and your chosen juicing cone
2 a and 2 b combined or 2 b ) to the drive shaft. If you would like to use the small juicing cone 2 b , remove this from the large juicing cone 2 a by using your thumb and index finger to exert pressure on the sides of the large juicing cone 2 a (see Fig. D). Use the large juicing cone 2 a for larger fruits such as oranges and the small juic- ing cone 2 b for small fruits such as lemons. Place a collecting vessel, e.g. a glass, under the spout
.31 GB/IE Preparing citrus fruits The product is made so that citrus fruits (e.g. limes, lemons, oranges) can be appropriately squeezed based on their size. For an optimal juice yield, use the ripest fruits possible, which contain more juice. Cut the citrus fruits in half across the fruit segments, so that you get an upper and a lower half and all fruit segments are cut. Initial use Make sure that there are no foreign objects in the sieve
or the product when operating it. Do not exert too much pressure on the juicing cone ( 2 a and 2 b combined or 2 b
by pressing it downwards. Place a halved citrus fruit on the juicing cone ( 2 a and 2 b com- bined or 2 b ) with the cut surface down and press it down. Due to the automatic stop-start function, the motor runs automatically. The squeezed juice flows through the sieve
, where large fruit pulp and seeds are collected, into the juice holder
and through the spout
into the glass. Releasing the pressure turns the product off again. To achieve an optimal juice yield, this process should be repeated a few times. Note: Exerting too much pressure can block the motor. In this case, reduce the pressure somewhat. Before the glass is served, close the spout
by pushing it upwards. If fruit will be pressed again after a short time, the product can be hygienically closed with the cover
in the meantime.32 GB/IE Note: Citrus juices should be drunk when fresh. Under no circum- stances should the juice be stored in metal containers. Cleaning and care Unplug the mains plug after use. All removable accessory parts are dishwasher safe (up to 60 °C). Before beginning to clean the product or putting the removable parts in the dishwasher, remove the majority of the seeds and fruit pulp from the sieve
and dispose of these. Then immediately clean the removable parts with warm water and washing-up liquid or in the dishwasher. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents. Never immerse the base unit
in water, instead only wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Carefully dry all parts before re-assembling the product and putting it away. Disposal The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
